Author's Notes:

Blaine stormed out of the classroom and ran into the cafeteria, sitting down at his usual table with the Glee kids, making sure that there was a spare seat next to him.

"Hey B" Kurt smiled, slipping into the seat next to Blaine. "How was your morning?"

The Glee kids looked up slowly and stared at the two boys in shock. What was Kurt Hummel doing talking to Blaine?

"It was...okay" Blaine answered, sighing.

"What's wrong? You look upset" Kurt frowned, taking Blaine's hand.

"Quinn" Blaine mumbled.

Kurt's expression changed from concerned to livid in an instant.

"What did she do?" he asked through gritted teeth.

"It's not what she did, more what she said" Blaine said quietly so that the others didn't listen in.

"What did she say?" Kurt whispered.

"She told me to stay away from you because I'll just ruin your reputation, and that you don't need me. She also said that she's going to break us up again. But this time, permanently"

Kurt felt his blood boiling with anger. "She did what" he hissed.

Blaine nodded, closing his eyes. "She can't get between us, can she?"

"No, baby, of course not" Kurt whispered. "I love you, and Quinn isn't going to change that. And, before we broke up, I said I was going to join the Glee club. Now, that changed at first, because I didn't think I could be in the same room as you without bursting into tears, but now that we're back together...I want to audition"

"Oh my god, Kurt I would love that!" Blaine grinned. "And I love you too"

"Blaine?"

Mercedes' voice pulled the two boys out of their own little world.

"Want to tell us all what's going on here?"

Blaine looked at Kurt, who nodded in confirmation.

"Guys, I would like to introduce you to Kurt. My boyfriend"

Everyone at the table - except from Puck, Finn and Rachel - gaped at them.

"Your boyfriend?!" Tina exclaimed. "Blaine, that is the guy who has been tormenting us for years!"

"Listen, he's not like that, he's actually really amazing! And I love him" Blaine grinned up at Kurt, who leaned down to kiss Blaine gently.

"Woah, woah, woah, hold up" Mercedes said, holding up her hand. "How long has this been going on for?"

"About a month and a half" Blaine smiled, kissing Kurt's cheek.

"And you didn't think to tell us? If you couldn't tell us, you should have at least told Rachel, I mean, she's your best friend!"

"Well...." Rachel started, looking guilty.

"You knew?!" Tina said, raising her voice. "Why didn't you tell us?!"

"Because Blaine told me to keep it a secret!" Rachel argued back. "Yes that's right, I can keep a secret" she snapped when she saw Mercedes' face. "Anyway, Finn knew too"

Everyone turned to stare at Finn.

"What, he's my brother, of course I knew!" Finn protested. "Plus they're always going at it, it's impossible to live in the same house as them and not know"

"Finn!" Kurt hissed. "Shut up!"

"Wait, live in the same house as them?" Sam frowned, confused.

"Blaine lives with us" Kurt said.

"Why?" Mike asked.

"That's none of your business" Kurt gave them all his best bitch glare, which shut them up.

"If we're saying who knew, I did too" Puck stated, ignoring the stares of his friends. "At the New Directions guys night, I saw Blaine sneaking up to Kurt's room and followed him"

Everyone shook their heads and rolled their eyes at Puck, and turned back to Kurt and Blaine.

"Who else knows?" Mercedes asked.

"Quinn" Kurt replied, popping a bit of salad in his mouth.  "She's not best pleased about it, but it's not her decision"

"Listen, I know that you all think that this is strange, but Kurt is a really amazing guy, and I love him, so much that it hurts. Can you please just accept the fact that we're together and have a normal lunch?" Blaine sighed, rubbing his forehead.

The others nodded, and they spent the rest of lunch talking and laughing. Kurt kept sneaking Blaine kisses and squeezed his hand every so often, giving him a small smile. The bell rang, indicating the end of lunch, and they all stood up.

"I'll see you after school" Kurt smiled, leaning down to kiss Blaine.

"I have Glee practise" Blaine said against Kurt's lips. "Do you want to try out today?"

"I'd love to" Kurt whispered, giving Blaine a final peck on the lips. "Save me a seat" he grinned as he walked off.

"I will" Blaine smiled to himself. He set off towards his next class, grinning like a maniac.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blaine walked into the choir room and took a seat next to Rachel, placing his bag on the one on his other side to let other people know that it was taken. He glanced up at the door every 5 seconds, leaping up when he saw Kurt.
"Hey baby" he grinned. "You nervous?"
"A little bit" Kurt admitted.
"Don't be, you're amazing! Everyone's going to love you" Blaine smiled, leaning up and pressing his lips to Kurt's.
Quinn sat in the corner of the room, glaring at the couple. Why was Kurt even with that loser? There was nothing he could even get from him, except maybe a boost on his grades, but Kurt was smart, he didn't even need that. She was at a complete loss as to why her best friend was with that...that thing.
"Okay everyone, we have someone who wants to try out today!" Mr Schue grinned, clapping his hands together. "Go ahead Kurt"
Kurt breathed deeply, trying to calm his nerves. Blaine squeezed his arm and gave him an encouraging smile before sitting back down in his seat.
The music started up and Kurt stood in front of the microphone.
I was left to my own devi-i-i-ices Kurt started, his voice ringing out beautifully in the small room. Blaine's face lit up as Kurt sang, tears filling his eyes with immense pride.
And the walls kept tumbling down in the city that we lo-o-o-ove
Blaine grinned at Kurt mouthing "You're amazing!", making Kurt smile as he sang. He didn't look at the rest of the club, only at Blaine, who looked like he was about to pass out with pride.
But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all, and if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like you've been here before, how am I gonna be an optimist about this, how am I gonna be an optimist about this
Blaine bit his lip to stop himself from saying something in the middle of Kurt's performance, practically shaking with happiness.
Oh where do we begin, the rubble or our sins, oh oh where do we begin, the rubble or our sins
Kurt winked at Blaine, his eyes telling him what he was saying. I love you.
But if you close your eyes, does it almost feel like nothing changed at all Kurt finished, grinning as everyone cheered and applauded him. Blaine stood up and threw himself into Kurt's arms.
"You were amazing! I am so proud of you" he whispered, pressing a small kiss to Kurt's cheek.
Kurt giggled happily and hugged tightly. He felt unbelievably happy in that moment, the only time he could remember being happier was when he got Blaine back.
"Kurt?" Mr Schue said, the smile obvious in his voice.
Kurt let go of Blaine but kept one arm securely around his waist.
"Welcome to the Glee club"
Everyone cheered and surrounded Kurt in a massive group hug. Kurt grinned, finally feeling like he belonged somewhere, like he was where he was meant to be. Blaine cuddled up to Kurt's side, wrapping his arms around his middle. He leaned up and rested his lips a millimetre away from Kurt's ear. "I love you so much" he whispered.
"I love you too" Kurt whispered back, and suddenly, it was like nobody else was there, it was just them, Kurt and Blaine, pure and simple. Blaine turned around in Kurt arms and lifted his head up, pressing his lips softly against Kurt's. Kurt responded quickly, sliding their lips together with a contented sigh.
"Wanky" Santana smirked, pulling the boys out of their little bubble of happiness.
"Oh shut up" Blaine laughed, pressing another tiny kiss to Kurt's lips before taking his hand and dragging him back to their seats.  "Time for your first Glee club meeting" he grinned, throwing an arm around the back of his boyfriend's chair.  "You excited"
"You know what? I really, really am" Kurt smiled. "I feel like I belong here. I never felt like that on the Cheerios, it just felt like I was there, not that I was supposed to be...you know?"
"Yeh, I do" Blaine replied, scooting their chairs as close as possible and resting his head on Kurt's shoulder. "That's how I felt when I first joined Glee. I was a sophomore and completely alone. I mean, I had classmates and stuff, I sat with people at lunch and said hi to a couple of people in the hallway, but no real friends. Nobody I could tell stuff to, nobody who really knew me. Then, I joined Glee, and now I have this whole amazing family, and I have friends. And on top of that, I now also have you, and you've joined this family, so my life is the best it's ever been right now"
"Blaine..." Kurt whispered. "You never have to be alone again. When we go to New York, we're getting an apartment, our own one, and we can live together. I never want to be without you, I want to make you happy"
"You do make me happy" Blaine smiled. "You make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And as for the New York apartment, that sounds perfect"
Kurt kissed Blaine's forehead gently before turning to Mr Schue, who was talking about Sectionals.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"So, what did you think of your very first Glee meeting?" Blaine asked Kurt as they walked to Kurt's car hand in hand.

"I thought it was amazing" Kurt grinned. "Yours and Rachel's duet was amazing. Your voice is incredible B"

"Thanks" Blaine blushed, ducking his head. "Yours is better"

"I don't believe that for a second" Kurt laughed, unlocking the door and climbing into the driver's seat.

"Believe it baby!" Blaine said in a ridiculous voice, getting into the passenger seat and closing the door.

Kurt pulled out of the McKinley parking lot and started the short drive home. Blaine fiddled with a few buttons until he found his favourite radio station, cranking up the volume and singing at the top of his voice.

"OOOHHHH WE'RE HALFWAY THERE"

Blaine pointed dramatically at Kurt, begging him to join in. Kurt rolled his eyes before opening his mouth as they both belted out loudly,

"OH OH LIVING ON A PRAYER!"

"TAKE MY HAND" Blaine sang, grinning insanely.

"AND WE'LL MAKE IT I SWEAR" Kurt sang back.

"OH OH LIVING ON A PRAYER, LIVING ON A PRAAAYYYERRR" they sang together, bursting into a fit of giggles. Blaine turned the volume back down and let the rest of the song just play in the background.

"You're mental" Kurt laughed.

"You love it" Blaine grinned.

"I do" Kurt sighed happily, pulling into his - their - driveway.

They walk into the house together and are greeted by Carole and Burt dressed up and just about to leave.

"Hey boys" Burt nodded at them. "Carole and I are going to be in Washington for a few days, and Finn isn't here right now, so be sure to tell him when he gets home from Puck's. There's money on the counter for food and basic necessities and the cleaner is coming tomorrow at 3, so if you could stay in to let her in and pay her, that would help a lot, and I know that tomorrow is Saturday and you boys will probably want to go out, but I'd rather it was you two handling the money"

"Got it dad, have a great time" Kurt chuckled, kissing his dad and Carole on the cheek. "See you in a few days"

Burt and Carole said their goodbyes and rushed off to the car. Kurt looked out of the window, making sure that they were gone. Once he saw the car drive off, he spun round and walked towards Blaine.

"So.." he smirked, looping his arms around Blaine's waist.

"They're gone" Blaine smiled.

"And Finn isn't here. Which means..."

"We get to finish this time" Blaine grinned.

Kurt laughed at Blaine's comment, and kissed him softly. "Oh I love you Blaine Anderson"

"And I love you Kurt Hummel" Blaine whispered, pressing their lips together again, a little harder this time, his hand finding its way up Kurt's shirt and running  up and down his chest, making it clear what he wanted.

"Bedroom?" Kurt asked breathlessly.

"Bedroom" Blaine agreed, taking Kurt's hand and leading him up to their room.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blaine and Kurt lay on their sides on the bed facing each other, wearing only sweats.
"I missed this" Blaine murmured, leaning forward and pressing their lips together in a loving kiss.
"The sex or the closeness?" Kurt asked with a small chuckle.
"Both" Blaine laughed. "But mainly the sex"
Kurt hit his arm playfully, shoving Blaine.
"Kidding, I'm kidding" Blaine laughed again, shuffling closer to Kurt. "I missed just being with you. Not having to say anything, just being in each other's company"
"I missed this too" Kurt whispered, rubbing their noses together.
They lay like that for a while, just enjoying being with each other, leaning in to kiss periodically. Blaine shifted so that his head was on Kurt's chest, and Kurt's arms wrapped around him instinctively. Kurt ran his hand through Blaine's curls, which had broken free from the insane amount of hair gel Blaine used.
"Mmm" Blaine hummed, closing his eyes. "Feels nice"
Kurt smiled softly and kissed Blaine's forehead. "You tired baby?"
"Nuh-uh" Blaine shook his head, yawning"
"I think you are" Kurt chuckled, sitting up and pulling the covers over them.
Blaine whined and cuddled up next to Kurt again as soon as he was lying down.
"Go to sleep B" Kurt whispered, pressing a soft kiss to Blaine's hair. He got no answer, just the sound of Blaine snoring softly. Kurt slipped his eyes shut and fell into a light sleep.
A couple of hours later, Finn came home and walked into Kurt and Blaine's room to ask if they wanted to order a pizza. He smiled to himself as he saw the two boys cuddled up together, sleeping soundly.
"Kurt" he whispered, shaking him gently. "Wake up"
"Whaddawan'" Kurt mumbled, opening his eyes slightly.
"It's 7, do you guys want to order a pizza?" Finn asked.
"Sure" Kurt yawned, rubbing his eyes and stretching out. "Let me just wake Blaine up. By the way he likes spicy chicken the best, and I'll have the same"
"Got it" Finn nodded, walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
"Baby" Kurt said gently, cuddling Blaine close to him and kissing the corner of his mouth. "Come on, time to wake up"
Blaine stirred, burying his face in Kurt's shoulder and groaned, "Don't wanna"
"Come on, Finn's ordering pizza. He's getting spicy chicken, you're favourite"
"Alright, alright, I'm up" Blaine yawned, sitting up and getting out of bed.
Kurt chucked him a shirt and Blaine glared at the clothing. "Do I have to wear a shirt?"
"Well, no, you don't have to" Kurt started. "And I definitely don't mind if you don't, but I just thought that you might want to because Finn's here"
"I don't really care" Blaine said, placing the shirt back in the cupboard. "As long as you don't wear a shirt too"
Kurt laughed and walked over to Blaine, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind and resting his head on his shoulder. He closed the cupboard door to show the mirror hanging on the front of it.
"We look awesome together" he whispered in Blaine's ear, pressing a tiny kiss there.
"We do" Blaine grinned, looking at the two of them in the mirror. "I can't imagine standing here with anyone else"
"Me neither" Kurt sighed happily. "I love you"
Blaine turned around in Kurt's arms and leaned in so that their lips were almost touching. "I love you too" he whispered, crushing their lips together. Just as Kurt started to kiss back, Finn yelled up the stairs, "Pizza's ready!"
They broke away and pressed their foreheads together.
"Come on" Kurt whispered, taking Blaine's hand and walking them to the door. "Let's go eat"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As they ate their pizzas, Kurt's phone buzzed. As he laughed with Finn and Blaine, he picked it up and read the text.

So, you've gone public with Anderson. You're ruining yourself Kurt, people are talking. You were so popular, and now you're throwing it all away for him. Carry on with this, and you'll be off the Cheerios. I'll make sure of it. - Quinn

Kurt gaped at his phone and typed back angrily.

I heard about your little talk with Blaine. Stay away from both of us; I don't want you near either of us. And, I'm head cheerleader, so I'll get you thrown off before you can even begin to think about that ridiculous little plan. Yes, we've gone public and I couldn't be happier. If you were a real best friend, you would care about that, not about popularity. You don't even care that I might become unpopular, you care that you're going to get dragged down with me. You don't have to worry about that anymore, I don't want anything to do with you - Kurt

"You okay baby?" Blaine asked, noticing Kurt's pissed off expression.

Kurt looked up at Blaine and smiled as soon as he saw his face. "I'm fine. Come here" he said, holding out his arms.

Blaine cuddled up to Kurt and Kurt wrapped his arms around Blaine, keeping him as close as possible, needing to be close to him.

"You sure you're okay?"

"I'm certain" Kurt assured, kissing the top of Blaine's head. I'm kind of tired, I think I'm going to have a shower and go to bed"

"Okay. Do you want me to come up with you?" Blaine asked, concerned.

"No, no, it's fine, you stay down here and play video games with Finn" he smiled, standing up. "I love you"

"I love you too" Blaine called over his shoulder as Kurt walked upstairs.

As soon as he was in his room, he closed the door and dialled Quinn's number.

"Kurt Hummel" Quinn said as soon as she'd answered. "That was quite rude what you said to me. I hope you called to apologise"

"Not a chance" Kurt hissed. "I'm calling to tell you to stay the fuck away from me and Blaine. We're happy together, and you are not going to ruin this. No more talks with Blaine, no more bets, and definitely no more trying to break us up. Just leave us alone, okay? We don't want you around us anymore, okay?"

"That's a bit harsh Kurt. We're best friends anyway, and without me, you're nothing"

"That's where you're wrong" Kurt laughed humourlessly. "Blaine's my best friend. He's my everything, I hated those few days we weren't together, and I never want to be without him again, I can't live without him. But you, I can. Without you, I'm a better person, I'm myself. Whenever I was with you, I was a complete bitch, I wasn't me. With Blaine, I'm me again, and he loves me for me, not the person you made me"

"I made you popular, Kurt, I made you amazing" Quinn argued.

"No Quinn!" Kurt yelled. "You changed me into a person that I hated! And I'd give up my popularity if it meant that I got to be me again"

"Listen right here" Quinn hissed. "I tried to help, but you've been ungrateful. So now, things are going to go my way. You're going to break up with Blaine, and you're going to do it tomorrow"

"Or what?" Kurt asked sarcastically.

"Or Blaine gets hurt"

Kurt's blood ran cold.

"You stay the fuck away from him!" he screamed.

Quinn laughed down the phone, and Kurt screamed as loud as he could with anger, throwing the phone across the room, watching as it shattered into pieces on the floor. He sank to the floor in tears, covering his face with his hands and pulling his knees up. Blaine burst into the room, looking around frantically. His eyes found Kurt and his heart skipped a beat.

"Baby?"

Kurt didn't reply, just continued to cry. Blaine sighed sadly and sat down next to him.

"Want to tell me what's wrong?"

"Q-Quinn" Kurt sobbed.

"Oh, baby" he whispered, pulling Kurt close to him. "It's going to be okay"

Kurt moved away from Blaine and sat on the bed, wiping away his tears. "We have to break up or she'll hurt you" he whispered.

"What?" Blaine snarled.

Kurt flinched, and Blaine's expression softened.

"Oh, no, baby, I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at Quinn.  Listen, I have a plan which means that we get to stay together and nobody gets hurt"

Kurt looked up at Blaine with wide eyes. "How?"

"We're just going to have to go back to pretending that we aren't together. It's not ideal, but I can't lose you again, I won't, and not because of her"

"Okay" Kurt nodded. "Okay, let's do it"

Blaine stormed out of the classroom and ran into the cafeteria, sitting down at his usual table with the Glee kids, making sure that there was a spare seat next to him.

"Hey B" Kurt smiled, slipping into the seat next to Blaine. "How was your morning?"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blaine and Kurt lay on their sides on the bed facing each other, wearing only sweats.
"I missed this" Blaine murmured, leaning forward and pressing their lips together in a loving kiss.
"The sex or the closeness?" Kurt asked with a small chuckle.
"Both" Blaine laughed. "But mainly the sex"
Kurt hit his arm playfully, shoving Blaine.
"Kidding, I'm kidding" Blaine laughed again, shuffling closer to Kurt. "I missed just being with you. Not having to say anything, just being in each other's company"
"I missed this too" Kurt whispered, rubbing their noses together.
They lay like that for a while, just enjoying being with each other, leaning in to kiss periodically. Blaine shifted so that his head was on Kurt's chest, and Kurt's arms wrapped around him instinctively. Kurt ran his hand through Blaine's curls, which had broken free from the insane amount of hair gel Blaine used.
"Mmm" Blaine hummed, closing his eyes. "Feels nice"
Kurt smiled softly and kissed Blaine's forehead. "You tired baby?"
"Nuh-uh" Blaine shook his head, yawning"
"I think you are" Kurt chuckled, sitting up and pulling the covers over them.
Blaine whined and cuddled up next to Kurt again as soon as he was lying down.
"Go to sleep B" Kurt whispered, pressing a soft kiss to Blaine's hair. He got no answer, just the sound of Blaine snoring softly. Kurt slipped his eyes shut and fell into a light sleep.
A couple of hours later, Finn came home and walked into Kurt and Blaine's room to ask if they wanted to order a pizza. He smiled to himself as he saw the two boys cuddled up together, sleeping soundly.
"Kurt" he whispered, shaking him gently. "Wake up"
"Whaddawan'" Kurt mumbled, opening his eyes slightly.
"It's 7, do you guys want to order a pizza?" Finn asked.
"Sure" Kurt yawned, rubbing his eyes and stretching out. "Let me just wake Blaine up. By the way he likes spicy chicken the best, and I'll have the same"
"Got it" Finn nodded, walking out of the room, closing the door behind him.
"Baby" Kurt said gently, cuddling Blaine close to him and kissing the corner of his mouth. "Come on, time to wake up"
Blaine stirred, burying his face in Kurt's shoulder and groaned, "Don't wanna"
"Come on, Finn's ordering pizza. He's getting spicy chicken, you're favourite"
"Alright, alright, I'm up" Blaine yawned, sitting up and getting out of bed.
Kurt chucked him a shirt and Blaine glared at the clothing. "Do I have to wear a shirt?"
"Well, no, you don't have to" Kurt started. "And I definitely don't mind if you don't, but I just thought that you might want to because Finn's here"
"I don't really care" Blaine said, placing the shirt back in the cupboard. "As long as you don't wear a shirt too"
Kurt laughed and walked over to Blaine, wrapping his arms around his waist from behind and resting his head on his shoulder. He closed the cupboard door to show the mirror hanging on the front of it.
"We look awesome together" he whispered in Blaine's ear, pressing a tiny kiss there.
"We do" Blaine grinned, looking at the two of them in the mirror. "I can't imagine standing here with anyone else"
"Me neither" Kurt sighed happily. "I love you"
Blaine turned around in Kurt's arms and leaned in so that their lips were almost touching. "I love you too" he whispered, crushing their lips together. Just as Kurt started to kiss back, Finn yelled up the stairs, "Pizza's ready!"
They broke away and pressed their foreheads together.
"Come on" Kurt whispered, taking Blaine's hand and walking them to the door. "Let's go eat"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
