Blaine yanked his locker open and groaned in annoyance as his books fell out of it and clattered to the ground. As he bent down to pick them up, he noticed a note attached to his US History book. He picked up the rest of his books and the note and read it as he put everything else in his bag.
Meet me in the auditorium after school, I've got new song ideas I need to run by you - Rachel <3
Blaine frowned at the note and looked around. Why hadn't Rachel just texted him? Or told him this morning when they were eating breakfast? Sighing, he shook his head and walked off to his next lesson, the last one of the day. Every five minutes, he looked up at the clock, begging for the lesson to be over soon. After what felt like an eternity, the bell rang. He packed away his things and ran out of the classroom as quickly as he could. He couldn't help but think that this was a little more than just a few song ideas. When he reached the auditorium, it was completely dark, so he had to feel his way down to the stage.
"Rach?" he called out.
"Right here!" Rachel yelled back. "Just sit in the front row!"
Blaine sat in the front row, confused. He couldn't even see Rachel. The lights suddenly shone brightly on the stage, illuminating the band, including Finn on the drums. Rachel walked out onto the stage and the band started up a song that Blaine didn't recognise
I don't like walking around this old and empty house Rachel started.
So hold my hand I'll walk with you my dear a familiar voice sang. Blaine whipped his head to the curtains at the side and saw Kurt emerging. His heart beat fast as he saw him, looking stunning but a wreck at the same time. He kept his eyes on Kurt, feeling tears spill down his cheeks. He missed him so much, but was still so, so mad at him.
Cos though the truth may vary this ship will carry our bodies straight to the shore
Blaine sat there, gazing at Kurt. Rachel, Finn and the band may as well have not been there, as all he could see and hear was Kurt. He looked so emotional, so passionate, and he sounded utterly amazing. This man was Broadway bound, Blaine just knew it.
You're gone, gone, gone away, I watched you disappear; all that's left is a ghost of you
Blaine's eyes filled with even more tears as Kurt and Rachel sang that line. He was finding it extremely difficult to hate Kurt in this moment when he looked so beautiful and sang so perfectly.
Now we're torn, torn, torn apart, there's nothing we can do
There is! Blaine screamed in his mind. He stopped his thoughts immediately, remembering why he was so mad at Kurt, why he broke up with him, what he did. Kurt looked so pained when he sang that line, tears trickling down his cheeks, glistening underneath the stage light, making Blaine's heart wrench.
Though the truth may vary this ship will carry our bodies straight to the shore
Kurt and Rachel finished the last line, Blaine jumped up and ran up on stage.
"I hate you, I hate you so much" he sobbed. "You can't do this, stop messing with my emotions!"
"Blaine, please listen" Kurt whispered shakily.
"Why? Why should I?!" Blaine screamed. "What you did to me Kurt, people just don't do that. That was really bitchy, and after everything, I didn't think that you would stoop that low. I really, really thought you loved me. And what's worse, is I still love you! I don't even care anymore, go ahead and laugh behind my back, tell all your little friends about it, but it's true. I still love you, I love you so much, but I hate you at the same time!"
"Blaine, will you listen to me for one second!" Kurt yelled, making Blaine jump.
"Fine" Blaine spat.
"Yes, in the beginning, it was a bet. But then, once I got to know you, I found that I actually really liked you. Then, I fell in love with you. I didn't mean for it to happen, but it did, and I also found that I didn't want it to be any other way. You're my soulmate Blaine, I know it! What you walked in on, that was not me getting the money from Quinn, that was me telling her that I didn't want her money, that I was really in love with you. I love you Blaine, and I can't stand not being with you" Kurt finished his speech in tears, his heart aching for Blaine to hold him.
Blaine said nothing, just rushed forward and crushed their lips together. Kurt let out a tiny sob of relief and cupped Blaine's face, kissing him back passionately.
"I love you so much, I missed you," Blaine whispered between kisses.
"I love you too, I missed you so much" Kurt replied, bringing their lips together again. Blaine grabbed Kurt's hand and pulled him off the stage.
"Finn, you may want to go to Rachel's. Rach, I think I'm going to go back to living with Kurt if that's okay" Blaine called over his shoulder.
"I'll get Finn to bring your stuff over when he goes back home!" Rachel called back, a huge grin on her face.
"Get him to drive my car home too!" he yelled as they left the auditorium
Blaine and Kurt ran to Kurt's car as fast as they could, and drove home in record time. Kurt got out his keys and unlocked the door, slamming it behind them. He grabbed Blaine's hand and walked him upstairs, falling to the bed instantly, pulling Blaine down with him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Burt walked into the house, exhausted after a long day at the shop. He flopped on the couch, and reached for the remote. He froze as he heard a few small noises coming from Kurt's room. He frowned, and stood up. Suddenly, he heard a scream, and he ran upstairs, throwing Kurt's door open.
"Kurt, are you okay?!" he yelled, stopping as he saw Blaine on top of his son, his hips moving quickly and -
"OH MY GOD!" Burt bellowed, covering his eyes.
Kurt turned to the door and his eyes widened. He pulled the covers over them and blushed fiercely.
"Dad!" he squeaked. "I thought you were going out with Carole today"
"Clearly" Burt said, raising an eyebrow. "That's tomorrow"
"Oh" Kurt replied, blushing even deeper.
"I'll give you five minutes. Then I want both of you downstairs. We need to talk"
He glared at the two boys before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
"Oh my god" Kurt groaned in embarrassment.
Blaine leaned down and kissed Kurt messily.
"Blaine, no" Kurt frowned, moving away.
"Come on baby, he said we have five minutes" Blaine whispered.
"Blaine, after having my dad walk in on us having sex, I think that moment's ruined" Kurt said gently.
Blaine sighed and moved off of Kurt, reaching for his clothes, pulling them on.
"I'm sorry baby" Kurt smiled sympathetically, pulling on his clothes too.
"It's fine, it's just....I really, really missed you" Blaine pouted.
"I know baby, I missed you too" Kurt said, wrapping his arms around Blaine's waist and leaning in for a chaste kiss. "Come on, we've got to go talk to my dad"
"Do I have to?" Blaine whined.
"I'm afraid so" Kurt sighed. "Come on, let's get this over with"
They walked downstairs hand in hand, and saw Burt in the lounge.
"Sit" Burt said sharply.
Blaine and Kurt sat down on the sofa quickly, glancing at each other nervously.
"So...I see that you two are back together"
"Yes sir" Blaine squeaks.
"And I take it that Blaine's moving back in here" Burt continues.
"Yes" Kurt replies.
"Now listen. I know that you two are teenagers, and I know that you're going to want to...do that...but I just want to make sure that you're being safe"
"We are" Kurt said quickly. "Can we go now?"
"No" Burt snapped. "I'm not finished"
"Oh god" Kurt groaned, burying his face in Blaine's shoulder.
"Do you love each other?"
"We do" Blaine smiled. "We really, really do"
"That's all" Burt smiled at them. "Just keep it down next time boys"
Kurt and Blaine blushed and ran back upstairs, wanting to get away from Burt as soon as possible.
"Oh my god" Kurt groaned.
"Aww, baby" Blaine chuckled, wrapping his arms around Kurt and laying them down so that they were cuddling.
"Mm, I missed this" Kurt hummed happily.
"Me too" Blaine whispered, pressing a kiss to Kurt's forehead.
"I'm so glad that we're back together. I hated being apart from you"
"I know" Blaine sighed. "I couldn't stand it. I was miserable.
They lay together cuddling for the next hour and a half, before Finn walked in with Blaine's suitcases.
"I got your stuff" he smiled.
"Thanks Finn" Blaine smiled back, taking the suitcases from him.
"No problem man. I'm happy to see you two back together" Finn said as he closed the door.
Blaine set the suitcases down and climbed back onto the bed, resting his head on Kurt's chest.
"I can't get over how happy I am to be back here, with you" he whispered, cuddling closer to Kurt.
"Me too B" Kurt grinned.
Blaine yawned and buried his face in Kurt's chest. "M'sleepy"
"Want to go to bed?"
"Mhm" Blaine nodded, trying to pull the covers over them.
"Nope, come on honey, you can't sleep in those clothes, it won't be comfortable" Kurt laughed.
"Too tired to move" Blaine mumbled.
"Alright then, I guess I'll just have to change you myself" Kurt said, rolling his eyes.
He pulled off Blaine's clothes and helped him into his pyjamas and got changed himself, getting back into bed and wrapping his arms around Blaine.
"Night B" he whispered, pressing a kiss to Blaine's forehead.
"Night baby. I love you" Blaine mumbled before slipping into a deep and content sleep.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blaine stretched out the next morning and looked up to see Kurt smiling sleepily at him.
"Morning gorgeous" he grinned, leaning up and pecking Kurt on the lips.
"Mmm, good morning to you too" Kurt smiled, kissing Blaine back. "Now, as much as I would love to stay here forever, we have to get up and go to school"
Blaine groaned, but complied anyway, getting up and getting changed into a white button down, a sweater vest and beige Capri pants. Fully dressed, he and Kurt went downstairs, ate breakfast and headed out to school.
As soon as Kurt pulled into the McKinley parking lot, Blaine took his hand out of Kurt's and got out of the car, walking off quickly. He knew the drill, they couldn't be seen together. He jumped as he felt a warm, soft, familiar hand slip into his.
"Kurt!" he hissed as they walked through the halls. "What're you doing?!"
"Holding my boyfriend's hand" Kurt whispered back. "I lost you once, and I don't want it to happen again. These people can think what they want, I love you, and I don't want to hide it anymore. I'm tired of having to keep us a secret"
Blaine grinned up at Kurt adoringly, stopping at his locker. He got out his textbooks for the morning and placed them in his bag.
"Okay, I have Cheer practise now, so I'll see you at lunch? I'll sit with you" Kurt smiled.
"Okay" Blaine grinned happily.
"I love you" Kurt said, pulling Blaine into a long, but chaste kiss.
"I love you too" Blaine called after him as he walked away. He shook his head, unable to wipe the smile that was plastered to his face. They were finally going public! He didn't have to hide his love for Kurt anymore! He walked into home room and saw Rachel sitting alone.
"Rach! Hey, Rach! Guess what?"
"What?" Rachel asked as Blaine sat down next to her.
"Kurt and I are going public with our relationship! We don't have to keep it a secret anymore!"
"B, I'm so happy for you!"
"Thanks" Blaine laughed, unbelievably happy.
He spent the rest of the morning in a happy daze, still not believing it. Just as he was walking to the cafeteria to meet Kurt for lunch, he felt someone grab him by the collar and shove him into the nearest, empty classroom. Looking around, he realised that it was Quinn. Shit.
"Listen here. I don't know what you did to Kurt, but you two can't mix. He's popular. You're a loser. Being with you will ruin his reputation, so why don't you just go back to reading books and studying for nonexistent tests, and stay the hell away from Kurt. He doesn't need you. He already has everything he needs"
Blaine rolled his eyes and moved towards the door.
"You don't know anything about us. We love each other, and we're sure as hell not breaking up again. And going public was his idea, not mine, so I think you'll find that he's not so bothered about his reputation being ruined, because some things are more important to him. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go and meet my boyfriend for lunch"
"This isn't the end of this Anderson!" Quinn yelled after him as he left the room. "I will break you up, and this time, I'll make sure it's permanent!"
Blaine yanked his locker open and groaned in annoyance as his books fell out of it and clattered to the ground. As he bent down to pick them up, he noticed a note attached to his US History book. He picked up the rest of his books and the note and read it as he put everything else in his bag.
