Kurt Hummel walked down the halls of McKinley High, his eyes wandering until he found the person he was looking for.
"Quinn! I got your text. A proposal? I'm intrigued," he smirked, eyeing his best friend, Quinn Fabray.
"Well, Kurt, everything's been pretty boring in this dump recently, so I thought we could shake things up a bit, keep things fresh. Anderson, over there. Biggest nerd in the school. He bats for your team. I'm thinking, we should make a bet. I bet that you can't get him to date you, and get him into bed. He reeks of virgin, and by the looks of him, I don't think he's going to be giving it up any time soon. So what do you say? Think you're up to the challenge?" Quinn asked, her lips twitching up in the corners.
Kurt smirked. "Of course. You're right, things have been pretty boring around here. This should liven things up. I'll call you tonight, okay?" he said as he sauntered over to where this Anderson kid was standing. He looked him up and down, taking in his image. He was wearing beige capri pants, rolled up slightly at the ankle, a smart button down top with a sweater vest and a bow tie. His hair was slick with extreme amounts of gel, and he had large rimmed glasses perched on his nose. He was clutching 3 different textbooks tightly to his chest.
"Anderson, right?" Kurt asked, causing the boy to squeak in surprise and drop his textbooks. He hurriedly picked them up, and looked up at Kurt, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose.
"Yes. Blaine, Blaine Anderson...I-ur...why are you talking to me? Won't it damage your reputation?" Blaine asked in a small voice.
"One conversation won't do anything, and nobody would dare question me either" Kurt said, waving off the question. "I'm talking to you, because I've noticed you. I've noticed that you and I, we're the only two gay kids in this whole school. I say we take advantage of that. What do you think?" he smiled, glancing at Blaine's lips.
"I-I...excuse me? You're very a-attractive, Kurt, but....I want my first time to mean something, I don't want it to be just a random fling" Blaine blurted out, his face turning a deep shade of red once he'd finished.
"It wouldn't be just a random fling. You could come to my place after school. I could cook for you. Make it special. My dad will be out tonight..." Kurt smiled flirtily at Blaine, touching his arm lightly.
"I'm sorry Kurt, but I'm going to have to decline. I want my first time to be with someone I care about, and with someone who cares about me. I want to have been dating that man for at least a good few months, and I want to know that I'm sure that it's what I want. I'm sure you can find somebody else who doesn't go to this school to fulfill your....needs. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a Math class to attend" Blaine clutched his books tighter to his chest and walked away, leaving a dumbfounded Kurt standing there.
Kurt never got rejected....never! Who did this Anderson kid think he was, turning Kurt down with such ease?! He walked off to English, hoping that his frustration didn't show too much on his face. The last thing he needed was for the crinkles on his forehead that he got when he frowned to become permanant.
After a long day of work, work, more work, and a hardcore Cheerios practise, Kurt drove home to his empty house, stormed to his room and dialled Quinn's number on his cell.
"Kurt?" Quinn asked, picking up on the second ring.
"Hey Quinn. This is going to be harder than expected" Kurt said, frowning again. He needed to stop that. Now.
"I told you he wouldn't give it up that easily! What happened?" she sighed.
"He said some random crap about wanting his first time to be special, and to be with someone he cares about and who cares about him, then he walked off to class. Nobody ever turns me down! Why the nerdiest boy in school?! Surely he should be jumping at the chance to sleep with a guy like me! The most popular guy in school! Why did you pick the weird one Q?" Kurt groaned, exasperated.
"Don't forget the other half of the bet. You have to get him to date you as well" Quinn reminded him.
Kurt groaned again. "He's never going to date me now! Not after I pretty much came on to him!"
"You never know Kurt, he might be interested....it's only been one day...give it time. It sounds like he's going to play hard to get. Keep going honey! I've got to go, but I'll text you later okay? I love you!"
"I love you too" Kurt replied, ending the call. He didn't know how he was going to do it, but he was going to get Blaine Anderson.
