Kurt had said goodbye to every Warbler, he cried, he sniffed, he cried some more, and he always held Blaine tightly to his chest. Wes was afraid he was getting too emotionally attached to the cat. David claimed that he was substituting Blaine to the cat.
They had posted up a poster of a missing cat of Blaine on the poles, and Kurt said he was going to stay one more day just so he can see if there was any owner of the black fluffy cat, and if Blaine would arrive, he didn't want to go without saying goodbye. Not a second time.
"Blaine still hasn't arrived?" Kurt asked Thad who shook his head sadly.
"What are you still doing here," Sebastian muttered walking in.
"You're late," Wes growled.
Damn. The spell didn't work. Sebastian thought as he noticed Kurt's presence.
"Oh please, just be grateful I turned up at all to this useless of an excuse to get out of school work meeting,"
"Just be grateful we like your voice enough to keep you in the group," David fumed.
"Where's Blaine?" Sebastian interrupted.
"Nobody knows, do you happen to know anything about his whereabouts?" Kurt asked, petting Blaine's back again. Blaine purred softly.
Sebastian frowned as he stared at Blaine. Blaine felt a shiver as those cold eyes watched him. Somehow he had a feeling, Sebastian knew it was him.
"When did you get a cat Kurt?" Sebastian tilted his head.
"Yesterday afternoon, we found him, why?"
"It's mine,"
"It is not, what's his name?" Kurt insisted.
"Yes it is Kurt, give him back," Blaine curled himself into Kurt's arms, not liking the way Sebastian stared at him.
"Name please,"
"Sparkles,"
"Really? Sparkles? How original. I don't think he likes that name," Kurt announced looking down at Blaine who nuzzled his head again into Kurt.
"How would you know, it's not your cat,"
"Don't you CLAIM enough things without having to steal a poor innocent cat?" Kurt replied angrily.
"What exactly did I claim?" Sebastian asked.
"Alright enough!" Wes shouted.
"Guys we are in a warblers meeting," Thad agreed, as all eyes were on the two.
"Look this cat was lost yesterday, and I'm going to return him to his owner, tonight," Kurt announced. Sebastian glared but sat down as the council warned him with looks.
Maybe it wasn't Blaine. The cat refused to look at him anyway. Sebastian thought to himself.
Blaine let out a sigh. He liked Sebastian, but the way he looked at him then was definitely a different side to how he usually looked at him.
He looked at Blaine like a toy, some sort of object to be thrown around. Blaine didn't like it.
"Where's Trent?" Nick asked.
"Alergic to cats," Jeff stated towards Kurt who held Blaine in his arms. Kurt bit his lip making sure he made it up to the boy later.
"Okay guys, Regional's is up, we all can't really talk about it now however because it appears we have a spy," Wes grinned at Kurt who blushed.
"As we all know, its Kurt's last Warbler meeting…" Thad started.
"Awwws…" And "We love you Kurt!" entered the room. Kurt smiled.
"Good riddance," Sebastian said unintelligible.
Kurt threw him a death glare. Sebastian just shrugged.
"What? You give the gays a bad name always wearing a pathetic badge, and something to add to what is supposed to be Dalton's dress code, when Dalton has no uniform day, you wear such pathetic clothes,"
Were you always such an asshole? Blaine thought.
"That's it, you arrive late, then insult our countertenor, you need to leave," David pointed to the door. Sebastian got up unthreatened.
"Bye Kurt! Hope you get a good welcome back at your old school!" The door was slammed in his face.
What did I ever see in that guy?
Blaine looked to Kurt who had tears willing up in his eyes, but he refused to let them go.
"You okay Kurt?"
Blaine cuddled into Kurt rubbing his head into Kurt's chest to get his attention. Kurt looked down and smiled at him, through his tears.
"Yeah… thanks guys,"
Stay strong Kurt.
Blaine meowed loudly.
"I think I'll name you Courage," Kurt smiled again.
Blaine smirked at the sent that to Kurt through Text when they first met.
"Courage is wagging his tale," Wes noticed. David used this as an excuse to hit Wes on the head with his own Gavel.
"Hey!"
"Way to state the obvious,"
"Well he likes it better than Sparkles," someone shouted.
The warblers laughed.
Kurt giggled, and thought yeah… he loved this cat already.
The warblers all got up and hugged Kurt one by one.
