Despite his hopes that Kurt may change after their moment, Blaine saw no changes. In fact, if possible, Kurt seemed even colder to him then normal during the following several weeks at school.

Blaine was disappointed, but he understood why Kurt acted the way he did, and why he chose the path he took. He knew being an out gay kid was hard..but he still wished that Kurt would be more like the one he grew to know, and be close with.

The last few tutoring sessions had consisted more of them getting to know each other, and debating over who was better, Katy Perry or Lady Gaga, and which cover of Vouge was the best, even though they both knew Kurt was the fashionista, not Blaine. Blaine loved those moments, and he loved how happy and sincere Kurt was during those times..sometimes he even thought he might even grow to like that Kurt..as more then platonic, but he knew that was just a silly notion, so he pushed those thoughts aside the moment they came.

Just a few more sessions and everything would be over…things would go back to the way they were…and part of Blaine dreaded and mourned that, as much as much as he was relieved.

Kurt watched Blaine from the corner of his eye, unable to stop the small twitch of the corner of his lips as he watched him push up his glasses and straighten his bow tie, while sneaking glances at Kurt when he thought he didn’t notice, before hurrying off to class trying to avoid the bullies.

Kurt shook his head and sighed. He hated being a shallow bitch…but he knew that he could very easily give in to Blaine, and that was dangerous. There were already those tutoring sessions where he showed Blaine more of his old self then he had anyone else, besides his father and Stepmother Carole. He just hoped that Blaine understood, because part of him couldn't bear to loose Blaine’s..friendship? If thats what they had, while he also couldn't bear to loose his safety net that he had spent so long creating for himself.

That night started out as any other study session, before it ended up with them laying on the bed, Kurt rolling his eyes with a fond smile, scoffing at Blaine’s notion that Katy Perry was a better artist then Lady Gaga.

“Kurt! Come on! You know you have to at least love SOME of Katy Perry’s stuff!” he whined, giving Kurt his best pout, while Kurt shook his head with a chuckle.

“Blaine give up the fight. Seriously. I mean Gaga’s costumes outdo anything Perry could even want to do.” he snorted with a small smile, before Blaine playfully smacked him in the chest with a pillow, Kurt’s eyes widening.

“Oh Anderson…I know you did NOT just do that.” He gasped, before he grabbed another pillow and jumped at Blaine, both of them swinging their pillows and laughing, Kurt finally tackling Blaine, straddling him, laughing and breathless.

“I win..” he panted, looking down at Blaine smirking at first, before he realized in fact just how close they were. Blaine was laying under him, some of his curls having come loose in the tussle, his cheeks flushed and a smile on his face, his glasses slightly askew as he laughed breathlessly.

“I guess you did..” he whispered, his golden eyes looking up to meet Kurt’s. Kurt reached down and gently removed his glasses, his eyes searching Blaine’s for a moment, before leaning closer. Blaine’s breathing hitched slightly as his eyes widened when Kurt leaned closer, and Blaine could swear his heart was pounding so fast Kurt would be able to hear it.

Suddenly, Kurt’s phone began to ring, jolting them out of their trance, both of them flushing when they realized what almost happened, Kurt quickly scrambling off Blaine and attempted to straighten his clothes.

“I..should go..” Blaine choked out, quickly gathering his things, his mind going a mile a minute, before he scurried to the door.

“Blaine!” Kurt called out quickly, right when Blaine threw open the bedroom door, Blaine turning back to Kurt with wide eyes.

“..Y..you um forgot you glasses..” Kurt whispered, going up to Blaine, holding them out for him.

“Thanks..” Blaine said, trying to take them without letting Kurt see how bad he was shaken, before slipping them on. “Goodnight..” he whispered before scurrying off.

“Night…” Kurt whispered to the now empty doorway, groaning as he thunked his forehead against it when the front door closed. Kurt was so screwed…he did the one thing he told himself was off limits…he had a crush on Blaine Anderson.
