Sunday, Kurt basically put himself in full lockdown mode.
Since the first day of school is one of the most important days of the year – you get all the juicy gossip; who lost weight? Who dyed their hair? Who’s in what classes? – you need to look and be your best. Kurt had all of his equipment ready for his pre ‘big day’ ritual. He would wake up at 8:00 a.m. sharp; early enough to have a full day, but late enough for beauty sleep and to keep up his maximum performance potential. In the morning, he would make sure everything is ready – pack his bag with all of his items for the first day of school, check over his classes, and most importantly, choose his outfits. Once that was done and his outfit was chosen, he would send a picture to his girl friends so they can judge it and give him feedback, which was usually positive. Once the morning was done, he would spend the rest of the day relaxing. He would give himself a manicure and a facial while reading vogue and watching the latest episode of TRH. After eating a healthy dinner, he would look at his outfit one more time, re-check to make sure everything is ready for the next day, and read a book. He would fall asleep at 10:00 p.m. precisely so he had enough energy to last him through the first day of school.
Today, though, he was ready at 9:00 and was bored of reading, so he changed the schedule around a little bit; he decided to Skype Mercedes, Rachel, and Tina in one conversation to talk about his date. Usually he wouldn’t talk to anyone but his family, since any drama could change his mood of the day, and he had to stay calm and relaxed. Today, though, was an exception; he still had some energy left, and his news was super important! It definitely took all of his remaining energy from his system, as he had to listen to three loud, excited girls while attempting to tell his story.
At first, he told them about the ‘date’ part of it, when they were inside and talking about their lives. What really got them excited was when he told them about the whole roof part of it.
“As if he took you up there!” Rachel said.
“He better not be a trouble maker, boy,” Mercedes piped in.
“I’m glad you didn’t fall,” Tina added.
“He told me he’d catch me if I was falling, which I was at one point,” Kurt mumbled, a noticeable blush on his face. It earned him a chorus of ‘awws’, which made him blush even more.
As the story continued on, the girls asked more questions, made more commentary and giggled, and he wasn’t even at the best part. He was even giggling and feeling giddy too by the time he was about to say that they kissed. He lowered the volume on his laptop speakers before doing so.
“So what happened after that?” Tina asked.
“Well, he told me I was beautiful – “
More awws.
“– and we kissed.”
He couldn’t even describe the shrieking coming from the three girls at that moment.
