Blaine left the Lima Bean that day with his usual grin. The look on Kurt’s face was priceless, and the look on Rachel’s was even better. He figured that Kurt wasn’t very experienced, whether with guys or even with life.

He then realized that he wasn’t even sure Kurt was gay. He only assumed he was. He must be though, considering he hasn’t given Blaine dirty looks for hitting on him, only obvious blushes. Blaine enjoys seeing Kurt blush, though; it’s a cute look for him. Kurt was just cute in general, though.

He’s surprised he doesn’t have a boyfriend, if he even is gay. He’s incredibly attractive, one of the most attractive guys Blaine’s ever met. His porcelain skin is flawless, and Blaine could get lost in his ocean-like eyes. He also loves the boy’s hair – always perfectly coiffed, a few lighter highlights added to the brown color. He has a well-defined jaw line, complimenting his cute nose.

If you took one look at Blaine, you wouldn’t expect Kurt to be his type at all. Kurt is very handsome and so put together, while Blaine is more the bad boy type. At least he pretends to be.

Having an incredibly wealthy lawyer for a father, you can pretty much get away with anything as long as you play the part of a young gentleman in front of adults and important people; always polite, good manners, and well put together. His father may seem nice, but he’s mostly just distant; always on business trips, and when he’s home, he doesn’t usually spend time with Blaine. His mother is nice, however, but no matter what, she will stick to her husband’s side. Which is why it scared Blaine to let even his mother know the truth.

The truth is, well, he’s gay. It’s not too big of a deal with most people, considering he goes to an all-boys private school with a no tolerance for bullying policy. They don’t care if you’re gay, straight, or bi, you’re just another guy to the other teenagers, and so it was so easy for Blaine to tell his friends. His parent’s not so much. His father was very anti-gay, and since his mother doesn’t exactly have a say in this opinion, he hasn’t told his family yet. He’s always afraid of the consequences.

One day, he’ll tell them though. He’s not sure when, but he will. Maybe when he’s out of the house, or far, far away when his father can’t do anything about it. He should be allowed to be with whoever he wants, but his father doesn’t agree.

It’s not like he hasn’t dated anyone before. Or at least, seen anyone. He’s never had an actual boyfriend; most of them have just been “fuck buddies”. Things would go well until they would get too pushy, and either want a relationship, or bug Blaine about the fact that they haven’t met his parents.

Until now, he hasn’t wanted to have a serious relationship. Even though he barely knows the guy, he’s taken an interest in Kurt. There’s something about him, whether it’s his innocence, the light in his eyes, or his witty and sarcastic sense of humor, he’s just an interesting person that Blaine wants to get to know.

And Blaine plans on getting to know him. The first step was to actually talk to him. Of course, the way he approached Kurt probably wasn’t the best idea, but it was a last minute decision, and what else was he supposed to say? Now, at least he has a reason to keep going back to that table.

He also felt lucky that he decided to go to the Lima Bean that day, considering he’s never been there before. Of course, he probably could have gone there any day and seen Kurt, considering he’s apparently there all of the time, but Blaine still likes to think it was fate. He was having a bad day, considering his dad was yelling at him about smoking outside near the house (at least he wasn’t inside), and he just wanted to get away somewhere. So he did, and he’s glad he did.

He pulled up to his house and parked his motorcycle in the garage, taking off his helmet carefully to not mess up his hair. After walking through the garage door, he quickly says hello to his mother and runs to his room before he has to make conversation with his parents. He turns on his laptop and goes on Facebook.

He has many notifications, mostly from the Warbler’s, asking him where he’s been and why no one has seen him for so long. His friends would be so disappointed in him if they knew the shit he’s done lately.

He made a few new “friends” right before the summer break. They wanted to sell alcohol to him, and he thought, why not? He could use some liquid courage since he was planning on coming out to his parents that night. The night didn’t go as planned though, and he ended up hanging out with a few rebellious kids at some guy’s party. It was fun, and he was glad that he didn’t tell his parents; he just wasn’t ready yet.

Now, he wears something black or ripped every day, and his outfit almost always includes his leather jacket. His parent’s don’t exactly approve of his actions and clothes lately, but at least it’s better than telling them he’s gay. Maybe when he’s ready to come out, going back to his normal self after this “rebellious stage” will soften the blow a bit.

Snapping out of that train of thought, he went back to his Facebook and checked over the last few notifications. Well looky here, he thought. “Kurt Hummel has added you on Facebook. Would you like to accept his request?”

Hell yes.

He pressed the accept button, and, like Kurt probably did before adding him, he looked at the boy’s profile. Kurt’s profile picture was of him and an African-American girl. He was wearing a white V-neck shirt with a red cardigan and jeans so tight they looked painted on. Overall, he looked damn fine. He always did, though.

Looking back at his older profile pictures, he always had a big smile on his face, lighting up his blue eyes. He was also always posing with the same people; either the African-American girl, Rachel, some really tall guy, or a few others. In the information section, he saw that he was single. Bonus. And, it also said that he was gay, which confirmed Blaine’s guess. He was incredibly glad; he would love to date this guy.

He, of course, would need to get to know him more though. Right now, he could know a lot about Kurt Hummel. He clicked on a group he was in called “New Directions”. The name sounded familiar – possibly another Glee club. The Warblers have never competed against them, though. The council always said they were good, but not as good as Blaine. Everyone loved Blaine at Dalton; he was one of the most popular kids, and the lead singer of their A capella Glee club.

Continuing his search, he saw that they had many videos posted of them performing. It probably wasn’t the best idea; anyone could see what they were up to. Of course, they were all older videos either from the last year or the year before, considering the new school year hasn’t started yet.

He could see Kurt in most of them, usually in the background, but some of them were of him lead or as a solo. The first one he found was of Kurt at a football game. He plays football? Blaine wondered, and to his amazement, when he played the video it showed Kurt, the tiniest guy on the field, scoring the winning point in their game after dancing to the song “Single Ladies”. How awesome!

Another one he looked at showed Kurt singing “4 Minutes” with that same African-American girl. He was wearing a “cheerios” outfit. He was a cheerleader too? Damn, he looks hot as a football player and a cheerleader… I wonder if he’s flexible.

Once Blaine got his mind out of the gutter, he focused more on his voice. It was higher, for sure, as it was when he was talking too. That wasn’t the most amazing part of it though. Kurt’s voice was beautiful, smooth, and it flowed very nicely.

He clicked on another video of Kurt singing “Blackbird”, and he was completely mesmerized. Kurt was obviously very sentimental in this song, as Blaine could see tears subtly falling down his cheeks. The sight of Kurt was almost as beautiful as his voice. He could listen to it forever.

It was already midnight, and even though Blaine wanted to keep watching Kurt perform, he had to sleep; he needed his beauty rest. He shut off his laptop, got ready for bed, and fell asleep thinking about Kurt’s voice.
