Author's Notes: So, sorry it took so long but I've been busy with Graduation practice and shopping for Ball and such things... So here's another chapter, read and review, the usual:) Hope you like it.

Blaine had almost decided not to go in to work today, he didn’t want to deal with drunk New Yorkers, or under-aged people trying to get a drink. Lately Kurt never left his mind and it physically pained him to know he could never have him. Blaine was in the middle of his pity party when Wes decided to interrupt.

“Get up.” He demanded.

“Why?” Blaine groaned, rolling his eyes.

“And you were trying to convince me you were happy?”

“I am happy Wes.”

“Yea well you’re doing an awesome job convincing, you know… no one.”

“What do you want?”

“I’m not leaving you alone today, so it’s either you go to work or you come with me to spend the night with Rachel, helping her get ready for her trip to LA tomorrow.”

Rachel. Would Kurt be with her? Probably. But then again, Blaine didn’t know if he could stand to see Kurt again and not confess the fact that he seemed to have fallen in love with him in the short time. Kurt would probably never want to see him again. Blaine finally remembered Wes was still standing over him waiting for a response.

“I’m going to work.”

“Well get up then, you’re already late.”

Blaine didn’t really care about being late, or anything, except Kurt and he couldn’t have him so he didn’t even see the point of caring at all. What was Kurt even doing to him? The need to see Kurt was killing him, more than it should be. He hated it but he loved it. He hadn’t felt this way in years, he loved the idea of being in love, but he was always afraid that the feelings wouldn’t be mutual, that’s how it always had been in the past and he believed always will be. Since the whole Adam affair, Blaine had been left in a depressed state, he had even been on Prozac for some time, ’til he decided he didn’t want to rely on pills to make him happy.

Blaine looked at his watch as he entered the bar, 7:47pm. It was gonna be a long night, Blaine thought to himself, and it was… until….

Kurt still couldn’t believe what had happened, he felt like it was a nightmare, the worst he’d ever had. He had been taking refuge in the bar that Blaine worked in since he ran away from the scene, he didn’t want to go to Rachel, didn’t want her to worry. He kept his eyes open for Blaine to arrive, he was tired and almost fell asleep when he saw the familiar head of curls enter the bar. A small smile appeared on his face. He didn’t know why, but Blaine’s presence gave him a sense of comfort, more than Jake’s ever did. Kurt couldn’t help but to constantly think about Blaine, especially now since he and Jake seemed to be on the rocks. Kurt waited a while, until Blaine got settled down just watching him. He seemed pre-occupied, which made him even cuter, Kurt couldn’t help but smile, he liked Blaine, he didn’t even feel like hiding it anymore. He decided however awkward it would be, he was going to tell Blaine how he felt, he had to, it was killing him not to. Kurt got up and walked over to the bar and took a seat, clearing his throat when Blaine hadn’t yet noticed him.

Blaine turned towards him and Kurt noticed a slight trace of sadness in his eyes that quickly disappeared when Blaine smiled at him. Kurt immediately felt all tingly inside, loving what one smile has done to him.

“Hi.” Kurt greeted.

“Hey. What brings you here?”

“Oh, y’know, just wanted to get out” Kurt lied.

Blaine nodded.

“How’s Rachel?”

“Good, she leaves for some audition in LA tomorrow.”

“Oh, well good for her.”

Blaine stood there for a while just staring at Kurt with the slightest most adorable smile on his face, Kurt couldn’t keep it in anymore.

“Umm, can I tell you something, that may make things incredibly awkward.”

Blaine looked confused, “Sure?”

“Well..you see I sort of-“ Kurt was cut off by his phone buzzing in his front pocket.

Jake.

He opened the message, tears welling up in his eyes as he read it.

“We’re done. Get your stuff out of my apartment. Today.”

Kurt sat staring at the phone for probably an hour it felt like.

“You okay?” Blaine asked concerned.

Kurt didn’t want Blaine to see him cry, not right now, not over Jake, not when he was about to confess his sudden attraction to him.

“Uh, yea, I just- I gotta go, nice seeing you again Blaine.” Kurt said quickly getting up out of the chair, when Blaine’s hand grabbed his arm, Kurt froze looking at Blaine, tears beginning to fall. Blaine looked surprised.

“What’s wrong?”

Kurt shrugged, wiping his eyes.

“Come on.” Blaine pleaded.

Kurt looked at him,”Jake just dumped me.”

Blaine looked taken back, his hand letting go of Kurt’s arm immediately.

“I’m so sorry, was it because of the other night?”

“I don’t know, he’s been acting weird lately, I actually walked in on him sleeping with someone else last night, in our apartment.”

Blaine looked pained, and it killed Kurt to see Blaine look that way.

“Well you know what, you deserve better Kurt, you’re funny, beautiful, awesome and if Jake is deciding to let that go well that’s his loss, I’d be lucky if I could have someone like you” Blaine froze when he realized what he had said.

Kurt smiled at what he had just heard.

“I-I like you too” Kurt said.

Blaine let out a breath that looked like he had been holding and smiled.

“Really?” Blaine asked.

Kurt smiled and nodded.

“I haven’t stopped thinking that night actually.” Kurt confessed.

“Me either…or you.” Blaine said.

Kurt felt relieved, he had confessed, well Blaine confessed, but that didn’t mean anything was going to happen.

“So tell me… you have a boyfriend?” Kurt asked.

“No.” Blaine answered a little sadly.

“Had?”Kurt asked.

“Yea.”

“What happened?”

Blaine froze. He never wanted to speak of what happened between him and Adam ever again, it was too much. But looking at Kurt, all red-eyed and expectant, he decided to talk.

“Well” Blaine started, “Four years ago, I met a guy at my high school, his name was Adam, we were lab partners for the first semester and we eventually got…closer and well we became a thing. Five months passed and I was in love, head over heels for him, I had never been that happy. He was my life. Then one night, I got a text from him saying something about, I wasn’t good enough and he never loved me and he was moving on to bigger and better things, he actually continued to pick on me during the rest of the school year, I never understood why, so one night, after I seemed to have used up all of my tears, I decided I didn’t want to do this anymore, then I did something very stupid next… Wes found me… unconscious on the floor. I got checked into one of those special hospitals, they put me on meds and well… that’s all there is to that.”

Blaine looked up at Kurt who had tears in his eyes again.

“Oh God no, please don’t cry.”

“You tried to kill yourself?” he whispered.

“Yea.”

“Are you still on medication?”

“No, my sorrowful guitar music replaced that.”

“Are you still… sad?”

Blaine looked Kurt dead in the eyes and placed his hand over Kurt’s.

“Not anymore.”

Kurt blushed, holding his head down.

They spent the next hour or so sharing boyfriend trouble stories, Kurt mostly, Blaine still didn’t want to re-live the heartache, not yet.

“My shift is done.” Blaine said when he noticed the other guy walking in to relieve him of his duties. Kurt’s face fell.

“What?”

“I don’t have anywhere to go actually… He kicked me out of the apartment too.”

“Rachel?” Blaine asked.

“She’s leaving in a few hours, I wouldn’t want to disturb her.”

“Well, you can crash at my place, if you’d like.”

Kurt looked at Blaine, “you sure?”

“Yea why not?”

“Okay! Thanks! But… I have to go collect my stuff, he said I had to get them today.”

“Go. I’ll wait”

“Alright. I’ll be back.” Kurt said getting up and leaving to collect his things.

Blaine smiled to himself. He felt better now, he didn’t have to hide his attraction to Kurt anymore and now he and Jake weren’t together anymore, maybe he had a chance. Well whether he did or didn’t, Blaine knew he was falling in love again and he could only hope it wouldn’t end in a mess like the last.
