CHAPTER 6
"Ok, I'll help you but first I need answers. You give me answers and I'll give you help okay?" Kurt says with a tentative smile.
Blaine can only nod because his words are stuck in his throat.
"Ok, first of all... What is here?"
"You, you don't know?" Blaine asked with a shocked expression. Yes, he knew that the brick wall was made so Adolf's son wouldn't find them but he just thought that it was because they didn't want him to coexist with them.
"No, that's why I am asking. I don't know what is going on here."
"Um... well... I, um... here is a concentration camp. They bring all the German Jews here."
"Really? What for?" Kurt asked, clearly confused.
Blaine didn't know what to do. Should he tell him the truth? Should he tell him what they were doing to them? Blaine knew he had to tell him the truth because they had a deal.
"They, um... they are hurting us here..." Blaine said with a tremble in his voice.
"Who are hurting you?"
"Um... your, your father's soldiers." Blaine answer was barely above a whisper but Kurt heard it clearly.
"My father is behind all this?" He asked clearly hurt and distraught.
"Yes." Blaine whispered.
"That's why you wanted my help? Because they are hurting you here?"
"Yeah." Blaine said with a shrug.
"Ok, I need to know exactly what they are doing to you."
Blaine hesitated but he took a deep breath and started talking..."Well, they are separating families. My sister and I were separated from our parents a few months ago and I honestly don't know if they're still alive..." Blaine said and after a few seconds filled with tensed silence he finally realized what he had said. "Oh my, I didn't, I didn't mean to..."
"No, it's ok. I needed to know. So... they are killing people?" Kurt said while he swallowed visibly.
"Yes, they are killing a lot of people. My sister is asking me where her friends are and I don't even know what to say..."
"Ok. Um... so how is the coordination here?"
"They separate the adults from the children. Anyone who is younger than 21 is cataloged as a child."
"How old are you?"
"I'm seventeen. I'll be eighteen in a couple of weeks."
"And how old is your sister? Is she younger than you?"
"Yes. She is only five." Blaine said with a small, sad smile at the memory of his sister that was now playing with the other girls there.
"Oh God! You are so young! That's why you wanted help right so you can get her out of here?"
"Yeah, mostly. Also I don't want to die. I want to live a long and prosperous life." Blaine said sheepishly.
"Yes, you deserve it." From the distance he heard his name being called and he knew it was dinner time. "Ok, Blaine... I have to go but I promise I'll come back. I am going to find a way to get you out of here. I'll see you soon." Kurt said rushing back until...
"Kurt!" Blaine yelled. Kurt looked back and waited for a response. "Thank you." Blaine said with a kind and sincere smile. Kurt smiled back, bowed his head and headed towards the forest again.
He had to find a way to get Blaine and his family out of that hell hole.
