Author's Notes: hey everyone. how are you doing with Cory's death? I am terrible. I feel so sad and my stomach has been in knots since Saturday when the CTV tweet came in... I am still grieving but my parents were tired of watching me cry and being all the time on Tumblr watching pictures of him so I decided to do something with myself and ta-dah! I decided to start writing again to distract myself a little bit. so here you have chapter 15! Hope you like it!

CHAPTER 16

"Kurt, are you sure of what you are asking me?"

Kurt nodded immediately. He had no intention to hesitate, he had no reason to. Schindler nodded. But he wasn't going to give in that easily. He had to make sure that this guy wasn't trying to trick him or something. Adolf was capable to do whatever was necessary to get him down. And maybe this guy, which Kurt was talking about, was just an undercover Nazi and was trying to get his factory down from the inside.

"Tell me more about this guy..."

Kurt smiled and seemed to zone out for a few seconds but then he recovered and leaned back into his chair.

"Well... his name is Blaine Anderson, he has a baby sister and her name is Evelyn and his parents, I don't know their names but I know that he thought they were dead but his sister saw them 2 days ago. Um... he looks terrible, he is very thin and he looks really worn out. His sister is pretty thin too but she doesn't look as terrible as him..." he was about to continue but Schindler stopped him before he could.

"Wait, he sounds just like any other person that is in a concentration camp, or he sounds even better... what is so special about him?" Oskar was now seriously curious, Kurt talked about Blaine so passionately but he sounded so heartbroken too. What was so special about this guy?
Kurt was taken aback. He didn't know how to answer that... but it was true... why was Blaine so special? Why did he have the need to help Blaine?

"I... I don't know. I just... I met him and he seemed like such a good guy and he just was... he was so honest and open and hurt but he still had that positive spark in his eyes and his smile was just so sincere. He looked so scared when he saw me, but he was even more scared when I told him my surname. When he saw how truly confused I was when he panicked he explained everything to me. And I just knew I had to help him."

Oskar nodded, wow. This guy was so fond for the kid. That was okay, it was good to have at least one Hitler as a nice person and it was good to have a Hitler by his side. But now... he had one more question he had been holding since he noticed Kurt was not here in his father's name.

"Kurt, I have one more question..."

Kurt swallowed hard; it was obvious that he was nervous, very nervous.

"How did you find out about me? I don't think your father mentions me around the house if you didn't even know about the concentration camps..."

Kurt visibly relaxed... so he wasn't asking about anything personal, which was good.

"Well... when I found out what the Nazis were doing to the Jews I decided that I was going to help Blaine out anyway possible. I wanted to research for something or someone that could help me. And the opportunity presented itself when my father announced that he was going on vacation with my mother. The very next day after he left I sneaked into his office and started going through his desk drawers and when I found one that was locked I knew I had found the one with everything I needed. And it was. I opened the drawer and there where folders with info from every person in the concentration camps. He had info about what they were doing and he had a folder just made for the registration of the deaths. But then I came across a folder that caught my eye. It was labeled with your name... I opened it and I found a picture of you and across the picture it was written the word 'traitor' and when I started reading your story I knew I had found the one man that was able to help me get Blaine and his family out."

Kurt closed his mouth and took a deep, shaky breath. He was being a 100% honest with this man. He had to be if he wanted his help. Well... maybe not a 100%, because under any circumstances he was going to tell this man that he found Blaine attractive, very attractive. That he had fell in love with the color of his hazel eyes or his beautiful smile (that came out very few times but when it did it was dazzling) or his charming attitude. He wasn't about to tell all of this to this stranger that barely knew him and that he barely knew in return.

Kurt was in this building not to make friends but to find the help of another kind and selfless person left in this country. If a friendship came out of this entire thing then fine, but if it did it had to be after knowing that Blaine and his family were safe and sound. And for now they were still stuck in the concentration camp just behind his back yard... so at the moment everything said in this room was business.

"Okay, so you are doing this behind your father's back..." Schindler said and it wasn't a question; it was more of an affirmation.

Kurt fought back the desire to roll his eyes and smiled lightly instead... he had to be as polite and good as possible.

"Obviously. I just don't see how my father would support my decision to help a Jew, imagine if I wanted to help four."

Oskar let out a full on laugh.

"Yeah, I don't think so."

They stayed in silence for a few minutes until Kurt couldn't hold it any longer.

"Oskar... are you going to help me with this or not?" he tried to maintain his voice as calm as possible but it still wavered.

Oskar was still dubious. It wasn't that easy to get one person out of a concentration camp. He couldn't even imagine how difficult it would be to get four out. And besides this kid, as good and kind-hearted as he seemed, was still Adolf's son. He could never be absolutely sure of what that horrible man was capable of.

So he answered. His answer was one simple word. One word that could change the life of four innocent and good people for good or not change it at all.

End Notes: Hope you liked this chapter! Have a nice day!Love from Mexico!xoxo
