CHAPTER 10

"Okay... I have less time that I thought I would have..." Kurt said trying to find a plan as fast as he could.

"You won't be able to get us out before they take us in?" Blaine said worriedly and panic was evident in his voice. Kurt heard the fright in his tone and looked at him in the eye to try to prove what he was about to say.

"Oh no, no Blaine! I will get you both out of here as fast as I can. I will find a way to get you out of this prison. I SWEAR!" He remarked the last words and he was still looking at Blaine directly in the eye, hoping for the scared boy to believe him.

Blaine was still shaking and unbelieving. He was still trying to trust Kurt. He was still trying to get these stupid insecurities, about Kurt just being playing with his feelings so when he got taken to the tower he would feel like he had a chance and got wasted, out of his head.

"Please, Kurt. Get us out. My parents are most probably dead already. But I just want to get Ev out of here and allow her to have a happy and well deserved life." Blaine had tears in his eyes, at this point and he could feel the pressure in his throat as the sobs threatened to come out.

"Blaine, I made you a promise and I will keep it." Kurt said seriously.

"Okay." Blaine whispered. He knew he was taking a risk by trusting Kurt so much. He might get hurt and he might die even sadder. But there was just something that made him want to trust Kurt. He was so sweet and kind and gentle, or at least he seemed like all that... He seemed such a nice person and his attitude screamed nice but he just wasn't completely ready to trust him.

He had his sister to worry about too. It wasn't just him. His sister was a person too. His sister might or might not like Kurt at all. His sister was so trusting with some people but sometimes she was so shy and distrusting. But also he didn't want to get her hopes up.

Kurt was so worried that Blaine would never trust him. He needed Blaine's trust if he wanted to get them out of there. He needed Blaine's entire trust because if he had it he would have his sister's trust too, and he needed both of their trust.

"Blaine... I need you to trust me completely. And I need Evelyn to trust me completely too. If I am going to help you guys out I need your trust because I still don't know what's my plan but it will require your trust so I can get you out of here and get you somewhere safe." Kurt said and Blaine noticed Kurt was desperate for him to just believe in him, to let him help him. And he was going to do just that. He was going to let go and let himself believe in this man and let him help him and his sister to get out of this horrible, scary and dark place. He couldn't stand the thought of his sister suffering a painful and scary death so he wasn't going to let them get to her and for them not to touch her, he needed Kurt's help. Kurt was like the light at the end of the tunnel and he knew that with Kurt trying to make up a plan they were already past the middle of the tunnel and they just had to take a few more steps so they could get to the end and to that wonderful and new place that was going to be with Kurt.
