Blaine loved Kurt. Ask any of their friends, and they would tell you. What their friends don’t know, is how broken he is.
“Hey you. Wanna come over to my house after school? Burt and Carol are gone, and Finn is going to Rachel’s. We’ll have the house all to ourselves...” Kurt mentioned to Blaine while waiting at his locker.
“Umm, sure.” he replied. What did Kurt want to do? Did he want sex? He didn’t want Kurt to be like Justin. He knew deep down that Kurt was nothing like him, but he couldn’t help that small flash of fear that passed through his eyes when Kurt suggested it. Kurt couldn’t help but notice that flash in his eyes, so naturally he prodded Blaine to see what was wrong.
“Blaine sweetie, what’s wrong?” Kurt asked, placing a hand on his back and starting to guide him to the choir room. Even that small action started to drive Blaine into a panic. He quickly shrugged him off but not before remembering.
“GET UP.” Justin yelled at Blaine before pulling him up by his curls and pushing him into the wall.
Blaine shook his head. He couldn’t think about that or he would have a breakdown. Paying attention to the front, he noticed Kurt looking at him from the corner of his eye. Blaine just shook his head slightly and focused on the lesson.
By the time Glee was out, Blaine was a nervous wreck.
“Babe, it’s okay. What’s wrong?”
“Nothing. I’m fine.”
“Bullshit. Something’s going on.”
“I’m fine. I just miss you.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes. Let’s go.”
They hopped in Kurt’s Navigator and drove to his house. They both ran upstairs to collapse on Kurt’s bed. Blaine loved cuddling. He was a cuddle whore. Kurt loved cuddling, but he loved kissing Blaine even more. Blaine naturally curled into Kurt, and Kurt would start to gently kiss him. Blaine loved his kisses, but sometimes when he felt like he didn’t have control, he would freak out. Kurt rolled on top of Blaine, but Blaine pushed him away with a bashful look.
“Babe are you okay?”
“Yeah. I just... I don’t know.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yeah. Can I... try something?”
“Of Course.”
Blaine slowly rolled them over until he was on top. Leaning down he captured Kurt’s lips in his own. Although he was tentative at first he started to slowly gain confidence. As soon as Kurt moved to touch him though, he shrank back. Kurt held back a sigh. He loved Blaine, but he was getting confused by the mixed signals Blaine was sending.
“You are going to sit here and take it. Got it cunt?”
Blaine just whimpered. He was scared. He knew there was no chance of him getting away, but he still worried what else they could do to him.
“Blaine, Blaine, Blaine. It’s okay babe. I’m here.” Kurt said shaking him awake. Blaine slowly remembered where he was and what was going on. When Kurt started to wrap his arms around him Blaine decided that was the perfect time for a nap. Blaine realized that he was having another nightmare and snuggled closer to Kurt.
“Shh. It’s okay nothing’s gonna happen. I’m right here.” he said while rubbing Blaine’s back.
“What time is it?”
“About 6:30. Carol said you are welcome to stay for dinner if you want.”
“O..okay. That’s fine.”
“hey. Look at me. Are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?”
“No.”
“Okay. We should probably start on homework, don’t you think?”
“Yeah. Okay.”
Blaine got up to get his bag, but Kurt grabbed his wrist.
“You know you can tell me anything right?”
“Stop! Let go! Please!” Blaine yelled before wrenching out of Kurt’s grasp. Realizing what he did, he quickly ran to the bathroom and locked the door as he started sobbing.
Kurt was still sitting on his bed in shock. When he heard the first sob come from the bathroom, his heart broke.
“Blaine, sweetie? I’m sorry. Can, can I come in?”
Blaine unlocked the door but didn’t make any move to open the door. Kurt slowly entered the bathroom, but kept his distance.
“I’m so so sorry.”
“It’s okay. You didn’t know.”
“Can you tell me what’s really going on?”
“I don’t know.”
“Did you want to go home? I can tell Carol that something came up.”
“I don’t know.”
“Okay. That’s fine. I’ll be right back. I wanna get you some water.”
Blaine nodded as he got up to leave. As soon as Kurt left he started internally freaking out. He knew he needed to tell Kurt, but he wasn’t sure if he could. At least not here. Before Blaine could be left to his thoughts for too long, Kurt returned with a bottle of water.
“I told Carol you weren’t feeling well, so you don’t have to go downstairs if you don’t want to.”
“I...Thank you.”
“It’s no problem. What else do you need?”
“Can you... hold me?”
“Always.” Kurt answered, holding his arms open for blaine. Blaine crawled into them, just needing to be held.
Kurt rubbed his back and held him close. “I’m trying really hard to be patient, but it’s hard because I’m not sure what’s going on in your head. Talk to me. Please.”
“Can you take me home? I know we need to talk. It’s just I feel like I’ll be more comfortable there.”
“Of course. Are your parents home?”
“Of course not. Are they ever? Sorry. Cooper might be there though.”
“Baby, it’s fine. Let me just tell Carol that you wanted to head home, okay?”
“O..okay. Are you sure it’s not too much trouble?”
“Babe. It’s fine. I promise. Are you ready?”
“Yeah. just let me grab my stuff.”
“Okay. I’ll be downstairs.”
Blaine slowly got up and walked back into Kurt’s room to grab his stuff. He sighed. What if Kurt realizes that he’s broken and leaves? If he doesn’t want him anymore? Knowing he was on the verge of a breakdown, he hurried downstairs. He walked into the kitchen seeing Kurt talking to Carol.
“Ready?”
“Sure.”
They walked out to Kurt’s car and climbed in. Kurt drove to Blaine’s house. The drive was silent. Blaine was trying to figure out what he was going to tell Kurt. He knew he should tell Kurt, but he didn’t think he could. He could only hope that Kurt would understand. Kurt pulled up and quickly walked around to the passenger side to get Blaine’s door. They walked in and immedietely went up to Blaine’s room. Kurt immediedely went to his bed, while Blaine lingered by the door.
“Come here, babe.”
Blaine walked over and snuggled into his embrace.
“What’s going on?”
“I..things?”
“That is bull shit Blaine, and you know it.”
“I just... It’s hard. I don’t think I’ve actually told anyone.”
“Blaine, I’m not gonna leave.”
“I’m still coming to terms with it. I don’t know if I can tell you.”
“Fine, Blaine. Fine.”
Kurt walks away and gets into his car. He takes a deep breath. Maybe he was too hard on him. He walks back in the house to find Blaine and apologise.
“Blaine?” he calls when he isn’t in the bedroom where he left him. He hears sniffling coming from the bathroom, co he goes to investigate. The door is locked, so he calls softly.
“Blaine?”
“Shit.”
“Blaine? You okay?”
“Fine.”
“Blaine. I’m sorry I left. I was stupid.”
Blaine unlocks the door at that but doesn’t move to open the door. Kurt opens it slowly, and notices that blaine had put on a hoodie that was way too big for him.
“Blaine?”
“I’m fine. I just... give me a minute.”
“of course. Can I get you anything?”
“I’m fine, Kurt. Just. When I say this, promise me you won’t leave?Like at least explain to me first?”
“Of course.”
Blaine walked back into his room and curled up on his bed.
“I... Remember when I told you about Sadie Hawkins?”
“Yeah?”
“Well... I... might have not told you everything that happened that night.”
Kurt rubbed his back.
“I... They raped me.”
“What? Oh my god I’m going to murder those bastards.”
“Kurt! It’s okay. It won’t do any good.”
“I guess. Is that why you don’t like people touching you?”
“Yeah. I mean, as long as I initiate the contact I’m fine.”
“Are you sure? We don’t have to do anything you’re not comfortable with.”
“I know. I just... I want to try. I trust you.”
