Chapter 6Bryan arrived home a few hours later , confused when he saw his older son's bag thrown to the side of their pristine living room. Cooper had told them he was coming home for Christmas, but this was the middle of October, and yet here he was. Was something wrong? He called for cooper, but then realized coopers keys and car were gone, so he must've gone out. He yelled up to Blaine's room, but he got no reply. Bryan made his way up to his room, and knocked lightly on the door, and ambling in. He stopped dead in his tracks when he saw what lay before him-his little Blaine lay on his side, his arm wrapped around soft-skinned Kurt Hummel's waist. Bryan put his hand to his mouth, a small tear spilling down his cheek. At that moment, Bryan heard David's jingle of keys against the door. David ambled in, and Bryan quickly walked over to the stairs where he could see him, and put a finger to his mouth, shushing him, an motioning him to come upstairs. David, completely bewildered, slowly obeyed, following Bryan to Blaine's doorway. David slipped his hand into Bryan's when he saw the two together, and he began to cry too.~Blaine awoke a few hours later, and a smile creeped onto his face when his saw the boy laying in his arms. He pressed his lips to Kurt's forehead. "hey baby, we fell asleep," Blaine whispered into Kurt's ear, running a hand through Kurt's hair.
Kurt stirred, and rolled over to face Blaine. "mm, hey babe," Kurt replied, looking deep into Blaine's glistening orbs.
"wanna go get some coffee?""again? You trying to replace me with Sebastian?" Kurt joked.
Blaine laughed. "does this," blaine kissed him deeply, "look like I'm replacing you?"
Kurt giggled and sat up, putting his shirt back on. They had pulled their pants back on last night, but both of the boys insisted that the other left each others shirts off to compromise. Blaine mimicked him, and grabbed his car keys from his desk. They left the room and walked downstairs and into the kitchen, but froze when they saw Bryan and David standing there, smiling knowingly.
"we're...um...gonna go grab some coffee. If that's. Uh. Ok." Blaine stuttered and stumbled, flustered because he knew his dads knew about him and Kurt.
"okay, just be back by dinner. Be carefulllll," David replied, implying that he was not just telling him to be careful on the drive. Blaine nodded, flushing, and pulled Kurt away, just wanting to leave the awkward tension immediately.
Once they had left, Bryan turned to David and hugged him tightly. "our baby's growing up," David murmured into Bryan's ear.
"too quickly," Bryan responded morosely.
