I hope you enjoyed!!! Comments welcomed!

I smiled and walked over to him, he gave me a hug and I have to admit, it may have lasted longer than it should have. We parted and he gave me a look over.

“Blaine, you look amazing.”

I smiled, “Thanks, so do you.”

“I can't help it.” He laughed. “Shall we?” He positioned his arm towards the club. I walked ahead of him and I walked us to a ‘cave'. We entered and sat across from each other in the curved booth. That's when Barry walked in, one of the best servers in all of L.A.

“Blaine, it's good to see you tonight. Where's Noah?”

Oh shit. Damn it Barry for being a good server and remembering everyone's names.

I cleared my throat, “Hey Barry. He's at home with Lizzie tonight.” I looked over to Kurt, “This is my friend Kurt. He's heard good things about this place so we decided to come.”

“Wonderful.” He turned to Kurt. “Nice to meet you Kurt. I hope you have a good time tonight. Can I start you off with some drinks?”

“I'll have my regular.” I said. Barry nodded.

“What's your regular?” Kurt asked.

“Oh, they make the best Mojitos here.”

Kurt looked at Barry and smiled, “Then I'll have the same.”

“Very good. I'll be right back.” Barry walked away and I sat there unsure of how to approach the fact that Kurt knows its Noah. He doesn't seem freaked though.

“So your partners name is Noah? I can't believe I never thought to ask. What does he do?”

Of course, why would I assume that he'd automatically think Noah was Noah Puckerman, I mean after all, Noah is ‘straight'. “Oh, yah. He's a fifth grade teacher, teaches music.”

“A fifth grade music teacher?”

I nodded, “It's a school of performing arts so there's a dedicated music teacher for every grade.” Already knowing what he was confused about.

“Wow, it's definitely not McKinley is it?”

I laughed, “No, it isnt.”

“Well, that's wonderful. How did you meet?”

Uhhhh, how did we meet? “At school.” I didn't specify that it was high school.

“Oh, so do you teach too then?” He was confused, and I had to ask about that play.

“Uh no. I umm, I write musicals. I'm a producer.”

His face lit up, “Blaine! That's amazing. Anything I've heard of?”

“Well, um. None of them made it out of L.A yet but I did ‘Street Love'.”

He was thinking, “Is that the one about the tough girl that falls for the nerd?”

I laughed, “Umm, yah. I guess that's how it came out.”

“Wow, wait.” His face went through about 50 different emotions. I think he was connecting the dots and I think I got my answer about the play. “B.D Anderson.” He whispered. “How did I not connect that?” He whispered again.

“Kurt?”

He shook his head, “B.D Anderson.”

“That's me.”

“Young Hearts Run Free”

Yep, I definitely got my answer. “That's uh, the new play I'm working on.”

He smiled, “That's why I'm here.”

“I really don't know how you're manager heard about it. I'm not even finished composing the final song.”

He blushed a bit, “He uh, knows Tony.”

My co-producers assistant. “Ahh.”

Barry came back with our drinks and set them on the table. “Here you are guys. I'll come check on you in a bit.”

“Thanks Barry. “I said then he nodded and walked off.

“Please don't say anything Blaine. I guess he thinks the Kyle part fits me to a T.”

I swallowed, oh. Do I tell him? “Did you get the script?”

“Not all of it. He only sent me the part where they have sex for the first time. It was wonderfully written. Very beautiful.”

“Thank you. I'm going to be honest Kurt, this is a bit awkward.”

He nodded, “I won't audition. I don't want there to be a bias or anything.”

I shrugged, “I'm only at the final calls. Not saying you wouldn't make it to the final calls.”

He laughed, “Thanks. Is it ok if I still do? You're play is amazing and I would love to be a part of the love story between two men. A whole story. I think its ground breaking.”

“Thanks, it took a lot of work to get it to production.” I looked down, “You are Kyle Kurt.” I looked back up.

He smiled, “But I didn't even aud…..” He stopped once he realized what I meant. “Kyle and Braydon. Oh my gawd Blaine. I uh, wow.”

“You only read the one scene.”

He blushed, “But if it's our story, then I already know.” I saw tears form in his eyes.

“Please don't cry, I'm sorry I never asked you if I could. The story didn't start that way. I just pulled from what I knew and it kind of just went there.”

“No, it's ok. Really. I guess I'm just really touched. I mean I know what we had was special but this is something…….something bigger. And Noah is ok with it? He knows it's about an ex?”

That he kind of does. He knows I pulled certain things but this just turned into one big time machine. “Yah, I mean he doesn't really know how close we were but he knows it's about my past.”

He nodded, “So umm what else has been happening for you? I mean you're a dad and a..a husband?”

“Well we arent legally married, I mean we never even really discussed it, come to think of it.”

“I'm sorry, maybe I shouldnt have said anything.”

“No, it's fine. But yes there's been many changes and I'm really happy. Are you happy?”

The conversation moved from Kurt's current life status and then somehow we ended up talking about high school and prom and how scary my hair was. I do still keep that mess under control, although Noah has helped me feel ok to unleash it from time to time. Only at home of course. It felt so good being together again, I always felt a sense of home when I was with him. Comfort I guess. Not that I didnt feel that with Noah but Kurt was different. He was my soul mate, even if we werent meant to be together. We talked and talked until Barry came up to us and said it was last call. I looked at my watch and I couldnt believe it was already one. I told Noah I wasnt going to be late, he's going to be mad.

“Oh my gawd, I can't believe it's already one.” I said.

“Yah, time just flew by.” Kurt said.

“I probably should be going though, I'll be up at 7:30 with Lizzie.”

He shook his head, “I still can't believe you're a dad.”

I smiled, “Yah, I love it though.” I got up and put on my jacket. I put my hand out for Kurt to take and helped him up. He stumbled a bit.

“Wow, those mojitos really are good. I didn't even realize I was this tipsy.”

I nodded, “The first couple of times they'll kick your butt.”

“I should call a cab, I can get one for you too.”

“Kurt, its L.A on a Friday. It's going to be hard enough finding one let alone two, and the benefit of being a producer is having an on call car.” I called my car quickly, told him the address and hung up.

“Wow. That comes in handy.”

I nodded, “I'm not going to lie, it's nice. I don't call on him very often though. I like to do things for myself. But if it's ok, I'd like to be dropped off first then he'll take you to where you're staying.”

He smiled, “Sounds good to me.” We walked outside and only had to wait ten minutes for him to show up. I gave him a heads up to where I was beforehand. Although I did say 11, so I feel bad.

Once we pulled up to my condo I heard Kurt whistle. “Nice place.”

“Thanks, I like it. Look Kurt, it was awesome seeing you again. And I really do hope you audition, though casting still might take a month or so yet.”

“That's ok. I found a temp job here. So I'm good and thanks. I am really excited about it. It's too bad you couldn't play Braydon.” He laughed.

I felt my palms get sweaty and my heart race, he had only read the sex scene and he wanted me to play his opposite. I laughed, “Yah. Umm, I better go. I'll see you later.” I opened the door.

“Wait.” I stopped and turned back to him.

“Yah?”

He smiled, “Don't I get a hug?”

I smiled and hugged him. This hug felt better than the one at the beginning of the night. I felt his hand rub circles on my back and I felt his breath on my neck. My heart was racing faster now.

“I really missed you Blaine.” He said. I pulled away from him and breathed out.

“I missed you too. I should go. Good night Kurt.” I got out of the car and closed the door.

Kurt leaned out of the window, “Sweet dreams Blaine.” Then the car pulled out and drove off.

I was left there, standing on the curb, confused and breathing heavily. What the hell just happened? Nothing happened. No nothing happened. Only, I think something did.
