To bake you cookies atleast twice a year.

This was the one condition that Blaine promised that Kurt hoped he wouldn't keep.

Kurt never knew that Blaine couldn't cook until he attempted. For Kurt's eighteenth birthday Blaine decided he wanted to make him cookies. Because they were the most reasonable option right? That should be easy enough.

He'd made sure to call Kurt and tell him to come to his house as soon as he was finished with coffee with Rachel and Mercedes. He knew that would have bought him enough time.

But despite Blaine's plans, Kurt hurried over to Blaine's house a little earlier than intended. He knocked on the front door hoping Blaine would hurry up because the cold November wind  was blowing against his perfectly styled hair.

"Shit!" Blaine mumbled, looking at the clock. He'd realized how early Kurt was. He wiped his hands on a dish towel and swung it over his shoulder. When he opened the door Kurt lunged into him and kissed him on the lips. When they leaned away, they stood centimeters apart, faces so close together they could feel the other's breath. "Hi.." Kurt whispered to Blaine's mouth, his eyes trailing the outline of his lips.

"Hey.." Blaine smiled at his boyfriend. "Happy birthday." He smiled, even though he'd just seen Kurt a few hours earlier at school.

"Thank you.."  He smiled even wider back at his boyfriend. He leaned in for another kiss before the smoke detector in the house began beeping loudly. They both jumped in suprise.

Blaine took of in the general direction of the kitchen to figure out why the noise had begun, clearly from smoke, but to put it out. Kurt ran close behind him.

When they entered the kitchen smoke was bellowing out of the oven and Blaine immediately turned off the oven and opened the kitchen windows. Kurt began grabbing kitchen towels and fanning the smoke away from the detector.

When the smoke finally cleared out, Kurt could see the entire kitchen. The counter tops were covered in ingredients and the stovetop was covered with cookie dough. And Kurt had clearly missed that the whole front of Blaine's body including his face were splatered with cookie dough.

Blaine sighed with the most disapointed look plastered across his face. Kurt leaned in and hugged him "Thank you.."

"For what?"

"For making me cookies.." He smiled at his boyfriend, hoping he would return it.

"But I-Look at this - I messed them up- I-"

"It's fine..Thanks." He wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's neck and stood in the middle of the kitchen with him. They stood like this for almost a minute, just content with holding each other. When Kurt finally leaned away he was smiling still. "But, we do need to clean up.."

Blaine returned the smile this time and walked closer to Kurt, smirking. "Well this is a little incovninient, seeing that my shirt is dirty and all." He pulled his Dalton T-shirt over his head, revealing his washboard abs, that Kurt couldn't take his eyes off of.

"Oh, that's too bad.." Kurt smirked back. He picked up a handfull of the flour that had been dumped all over the counter and blew it out of his hands onto Blaine's face.

"Hey!" Blaine put his hands up in surrender "I thought we were cleaning!"

"Oh, that's right." He sighed "That's pretty boring."

"I agree," Blaine replied while grabbing a handfull of raw cookie dough that was a glob on the counter top. "This is more fun." He began gravitating his hand over towards Kurt's face.

Kurt grabbed his wrist before he could get to him and began shoving it back towards Blaine's face, Blaine bent his arm, pushing it into Kurt's shirt.

Kurt looked down at his now ruined shirt. "Oh, that's how we're going to play.."

Blaine backed away from Kurt and looked him up and down as if he was judging him for a contest. "I think you're going to have to loose the shirt.."

End Notes: Yay! one chapter left! I love Rates and Reviews as much as Blaine loves wearing stripes. (Alot.)
