To defend you, even if I know you're wrong.
Blaine wanted to be able to tell people that he and Kurt's relationship was like everyone elses. But it wasn't. And it would never be, because he knew they were always going to have to fight for their relationship. It was never going to be easy. They're were all kinds of doubters and that killed them both. But most recent of them all was when some how, and Blaine will never know how, but his parents found out about Kurt's short 'fling' if he even dared to call it that, with Chandler.
And as if they didn't already have enough of a problem with their son dating another guy, they couldn't just leave it alone or let him be happy.
"So Blaine," his mother tapped her bright red acrylic nails on the table. "Whats this I hear about this Kirk, cheating..?"
His heart practically fell in his chest. "It's Kurt." And he couldn't even respond to her statement. "And he was- I- we-"
"He was just cheating on you." She practically spat the words out at her son "And you still want to be with him?"
"I, bu-We-" He still struggled to find words to try to explain the situation to her.
She shook her head at him as if to show how disapointed she was in her son. He looked over at him, clearly having the words he wanted before.
"I love him."
"Sure you do..even though he cheated on you."
"I do, and sure, it wasn't right.. But I love him, I love him more than anything."
She rolled her eyes at him. Her sad attempted to get Blaine away from his boyfriend was hopefully finished.
"And I'm sorry you can't quite accept that, but no matter what he did, or what he does, I'm completely and totally in love with him.."
