Author's Notes:

"Looks like it's just me and you for the night, squirt."  Cooper bent down so that he was eye level with his two year old little brother. "Whaddaya wanna do?" He asked.

"I hafta pee."  Blaine says plainly. His eyes big looking up at his fifteen year old brother. He didn't get to see his older brother too much. Cooper spent five days of the week at his big school and only came home two days a week.

"Okay." Cooper laughs a little, picking up his little brother before quickly carrying him into the hall bathroom quickly. He goes to place Blaine on the small traning toilet on the floor before realizing that the pull-up that Blaine had on was wet.

"Did you already go?" Cooper asked.

"Mmhm." Blaine looked at the floor, dissapointed in himself.

"I'm not mad." Cooper reassured him and pulled his toddler sized jeans off of his brother and let him put on his own clean pull-up. He left to retrieve a clean pair of pajama pants for Blaine to put on. Blaine smiled when Cooper entered the bathroom with mickey mouse pajama pants in his hands.

"Tanks." Blaine pulled on the pants and put his arms up for Cooper to pick him up. His older brother complied and carried him down to the living room. He sat down on the couch with the little boy on his lap. He picked up his book from school to begin reading, he figured he could get some reading in while Blaine watched something on the TV. His idea fell through only thirty minutes after placing the toddler on the floor.

He felt a tapping on his shin and he looked down from his book to find Blaine looking up at him on the floor close to his feet. He folded over the page in his book and looked down at his little brother.

"You need something little man?"

Blaine only responded by putting his arms up in the air, the signal for wanting to be picked up. Cooper obliged and put his little brother in his lap. He opened back up his book reading contently, every few minutes looking down at his little brother.

Cooper doesn't know how long they sat like that, but by the time he looked down at his little brother, he was drooling on his shirt and small snores were coming from his tiny frame. Cooper smiled and closed his book. He ran a hand over Blaine's unruly curls, he'd had no idea where they'd come from because he himself had the straightest hair as a kid, always had. He knew where everything else came from. His tiny stature came from their Mom, his hazel eyes from their Dad. And of course his stubborness, he'd learned from Cooper himself.

When Cooper found out his mom was pregnant, he was thirteen. And the idea of having a little sibling sounded like the worst thing he'd ever heard. He really liked being the only kid in the house. He got everything he wanted. A stupid baby was gonna take that away. He wanted no part in anything to do with the baby. He didn't want to help his Mom pick out the theme for the nursery. And he definitely didn't want to help his Dad build the crib. And he definitely wasn't excited when his Dad was dropping him off at his best friend's house because his Mom was in labour.

He walked back into the room where his mom was sitting with a tiny blue bundle in her arms, his heart melted. His Dad gently passed the little boy over to him and Cooper looked down at him. His little face was pink and his eyes were starting to open for the first time. A tiny fist came from the blanket and Cooper laughed.

"Hey squirt.." Cooper smiled. The baby made a small squeaking noise at his older brother.

"What's his name?" Cooper looked over at his Mom, who was crying at the sight of her two boys.

"Blaine." She grinned. "Blaine Devon."

"I like it." Cooper said, still not taking his eyes off of the bundle in his arms.

He smiled when Blaine snuffled and turned his entire small body so that he was laying against Cooper's chest on his stomach. The older Anderson adjusted himself so that he was closer to laying down now too, he turned the volume down on the TV, but still continued to watch while the little one snoozed on his chest.

He thought back on the instructions that his Mom had given him before she left. He vaguely remembered something about giving him a bath before bed. He chuckled, that would have to wait until tomorrow.

Blaine moved again in his arms, looking up at his big brother with wide eyes.

"Go back to sleep." Cooper whispered.

"Night-Nigh Coop."  Blaine nuzzled into Cooper's chest. His curls touching the bottom of his chin. "Lub You."

"Love you too, Squirt."
