Kurt could see the tears welling up in Blaine's eyes. Well his good eye. 

Surgery. 

The word made him shudder. Clearly Blaine too. Kurt hated the idea of Blaine going under for surgery because he'd been there for his mom and his dad when both of them had to have procedures and both scared him so much that he never wanted to set foot into a hospital ever again.  

Blaine looked over at him helplessly wishing he would say something to the doctor. Ask him for an alternitave, see if there was any other option. But he just sat stunned too. The doctor swiftly shook both of their hands and left the room. Blaine burst into tears. Then crying harder because it hurt his other eye too. Kurt watched him feeling completely helpess. Wishing there was something he could do. He wanted nothing more than to beat the shit out of Sebastian for this. 

"K-Kurt, I don't wanna do this.." 

"Blaine you have to.." he stroked the top of his head. "Your gonna be fine.." he tried to calm him down. But he was mostly saying those words to keep himself calm. He was really nervous too for Blaine to go under, this was a serious surgery. Over something so stupid. Some stupid competition. 

Blaine got the okay from the doctor to go home and he spent the night at the Hummel's. Kurt spent the whole night holding him and begging him to stop crying, because it was going to make his eye hurt even worse.
