Blaine walked hand in hand with Karlie as he walked hand-in-hand down the city street on their way to the park. He'd decided he and the eighteen month old would go to the park on his day off this week.
He swiftly picked her up as he walked considering she wasn't keeping up with him. She giggled and kicked her feet.
"Dada!" She repremanded while she giggled.
He laughed at her and ran faster, bouncing the small girl with every step he took. "We're here!" He smiled and sat her down on the soft grass in front of him. He looked down at her and smiled.
"Who's the best baby in the world? Brandon Riker Smythe is! You're the cutest boy in the whole wide world!" Blaine heard someone cooing behind him. He turned his head. His jaw felt like it had hit the ground.
He watched as Sebastian tossed the little boy up in the air and catching him, the boy didn't look like he could have been more than ten months old. He squealed everytime he flew only a few feet above Sebastian in the air.
Blaine turned his head to look away and take his daughter over to the swing when he heard it.
"Blaine?"
He turned to see Sebastian standing a few feet away, the little boy -Brandon, on his hip. The younger man looked no different than he had in high school, only now he'd traded in his Warbler uniform and was wearing a button up plaid shirt and a pair of simple jeans.
"Sebastian." Blaine smiled a little as he picked up Karlie and secured her on his hip. He kissed the small girl on the top of her head.
"Wow, I didn't think i'd ever see you again." Sebastian said simply, drawing his attention back to the small boy on his hip that was currently pulling at his hair. He pulled the little boy's hand out of his hair and smiled at him. "You're gonna hurt daddy." He smiled and the baby giggled.
"I didn't think I'd ever see you again." Blaine repeated again, mouth agape "Especially with a kid."
"You're not the first person to be suprised." Sebastian laughed a little.
Blaine only nodded again, mouth practically agape.
"Are you still with Kurt?" Sebastian's question pulled Blaine out of his thoughts.
He nodded "Yes, and this is Karlie, we adopted her about a year and a half ago."
"She's adorable." Sebastian said with a smile, since when did he do anything with his mouth other than smirk?
"This is Brandon, he's almost nine months old." He smiled down at the little boy in his arms that was longingly staring at the toddler infront of him. "I was with someone, and we decided to have this little guy through a surogate, but a few weeks after he was born he just kind of left." Blaine stood listening in disbelief. "But Brandon and I are managing, we're just fine huh?" He kissed the baby on the top of his head. "I guess I deserve it though, for all of the horrible things I did when I was younger, what goes around comes around, right?" He tried his best to keep a small smile on his face.
"No," Blaine moved Karlie on to his other hip. "Nothing you did meant that you would deserve this."
"No, we're good." Sebastian reassured. "The first few weeks were really hard, but we've learned to manage. He's taught me a lot. And no one said we needed him anyway, Daddy and Brandon are happy by ourselves too." He said in a sing-song voice looking down at Brandon. They both stood in silence again. Sebastian finally spoke up. "We're gonna get going, but it was really nice to see you again. And it was nice to meet you cutie." He smiled at Karlie.
"It was good to see you too.. " Blaine replied quickly, still in shock from the conversation he'd just had.
He watched as the ex-Warbler walked away, his son securely in his arms. He looked down at Karlie.
"That was really weird." He laughed with a small sigh.
"Dada." She squealed and smacked her tiny hand up at his cheek.
"Okay, okay." He laughed and carried her over to the swings.
