Author's Notes: A follow up to my chapter "Anything In the World" But you don't have to read them together, but I would be cool if you read both.

Kurt stood watching his three year old son run and play with a few other young children on the play ground before sitting down and tapping out an email to his boss on his phone. He sent the message and opened up his facebook for the first time in a few weeks.

He smiled at all of the comments on the most recent picture he'd posted of his son.  It was a snapshot of Max laying on the couch watching toy story, wrapped up in his Lion King blanket, his brown hair sticking up in every direction possible.  All of the comments on the picture being about how adorable his son was and how lucky he was to have such a good dad.

He found himself looking at all of the pictures and statuses of adult life on his facebook before his concentration was broken by the sound of a child screaming.

His child screaming.

He jumped up and looked around for his son. He could hear him crying, but he couldn't see him. But the fact that he could hear that his son was crying didn't say anything, he could always hear him from a mile away.

He looked around the playground, his hands shaking.

Max looked around his head darting back and forth. He didn't remember running away from where his daddy was sitting. He was only doing what the big kids were doing. All of them went over to the soccer fields and played. Why couldn't he?

But when he got there they weren't playing soccer, they were playing football, and Max didn't like football. Well, he did like football but only when he played it with Uncle Finn and Uncle Puck.

He wasn't sure where he was going once he started running off but when he stopped he was completely lost. He started to cry wondering if anyone would be able to find him. He wondered if he'd ever get to see his daddy again. Or if he'd ever get to go to their favorite ice cream place. He pondered if he'd ever get to hear his daddy sing to him again, he loved when his daddy sang.

His cries intensified at all of his thoughts of things he'd never see again if he didn't find his daddy soon.

Blaine walked down the trail in the park, his dog Katy in tow. The chocolate lab sniffed around and stopped what seemed like every fifty feet.

Blaine started to pull her along before she brought her head up again after hearing the same thing Blaine had just heard. The owner could distinctively hear a child screaming from only a few feet away.  He walked closer to the sound to find the little boy sitting on the ground with his head in his hands.

Max looked up, hoping that the person standing there, blurry through his tears was his daddy.

"Daddy?" The tiny boy questioned.

"No, but I'd like to help you find your daddy if you'll let me."

"Daddy told me not to talk to strangers." Max took one of his hands away from his face.

"Well, my name's Blaine and this is Katy." He pointed to the dog that was sitting loyally next to him.

"I'm M-Max." He managed to get out.

"See, we're not strangers anymore." Blaine smiled a little. "Where did you loose your dad?" Blaine asked tenitavely while Max tearfully explained what he'd done.

Kurt rushed around trying his best to find Max who was either no longer crying, or was too far away to hear.

"Max?!" He yelled.

"Daddy!" He could hear the little boy squeal from behind him. He turned and saw Max running towards him, followed by a guy. A gorgeous guy, Kurt didn't fail to note, and what he assumed was gorgeouses dog.

Blaine's eyes darted to the man that Max was running towards. Wow. He corrected himself, that's rude. He was just. Wow.

"Oh my god Max! You scared me so bad." Kurt held his son to his chest, a tear fell from his eye and he quickly blinked a few more away from his eyes. Max sobbed into Kurt's chest.

"Daddy i'm s-suh-so sorry! I w-won't ever do it again."

"It's okay." Kurt ran a hand over his son's head. He looked up at gorgeous.

"Thank you so much..?" He stopped.

"Blaine, it's Blaine." He put out his hand for Kurt to shake it.

"I'm Kurt, and I'm so sorry you had to do this today I was so scared he-"

"He's okay." Blaine said quietly and smiled at him.

"You know you're right, thanks so much."

"I hope I see you around some time Kurt, and you too Max." He looked at Kurt and caught the blush that was rising up to his cheeks.

"You too Mr. Blaine!" Max smiled, looking up from where he'd just been petting Katy who was practically bubbling with excitment over all of the attention she was getting from the stranger.

"Come on Max. We gotta get going, we're gonna miss the show. Aunt Tina told us to be there early so we could meet the cast."

"What show? If you don't mind my asking."

"Oh we're going to see 'once upon a matress' at the park and-"

"Small world."  Blaine stated. Kurt raised his eyebrows. "I was just getting ready to take Katy home and I was about to head down there, my friend is playing the wizard..Mind if we go together?"

"Ohh! Please daddy! It would be so much fun!" Max begged his dad. Kurt smiled at his son and the same smile met Blaine who Kurt could tell was nervous.

"I guess." Kurt ruffled his son's hair and smiled up at Blaine again.

End Notes: I really love my Single dad!Kurt AU's. So I might keep writing them into this occasionally.
