"Blaine stop freaking yourself out." Kurt laughed a little, sitting on the couch he was sitting on, watching Blaine pace back and forth across the living room of their small apartment.
"I can't!" Blaine whispered loudly. "I haven't seen my Dad since my sophmore year before he left, and now he's coming here with his new wife and- Oh God, I don't even remember her name, Kurt. This is my first time seeing him in five years and I don't even remember what to say and-"
"Jessica." Kurt simply stated. "Her name's Jessica remember?"
Blaine sighed again and leaned down, kissing Kurt on the forehead with a small smile on his face for the first time in hours. "What would I do without you?"
"Probably give yourself a panic attack." Kurt laughed a little. The doorbell rang loudly through the apartment and Blaine practically ran over to the door. "Blaine." Kurt warned quietly, "Calm down."
Blaine took a deap breath and opened the door. His Dad stood infront of him, khaki pants and a light blue dress shirt. Black hair slicked over to the side. Kurt always thought he looked the way Kurt would twenty years from now. Blaine's eyes traveled over to the woman next to him. She was young. Probably thirty. Blonde hair, gorgeous green eyes. She was petite, looked at Blaine with a smile on her face. But Blaine couldn't look at her anymore, eyes only trained on the little girl she was holding hands with.
She looked like she couldn't have been more than two years old, holding hands with Jessica and staring up at Blaine with huge green eyes. Her dark brown hair curling at the ends.
"Blaine." His father spoke up. "This is Jessica."
Blaine reached out and shook the woman's hand. She smiled at him. "It's so nice to finally meet you."
"Same." Was all Blaine could choke out. He finally blink and looked back to see Kurt watching the scene play out infront of him. "Oh yeah, dad, this is Kurt, my fiance." He smiled a little bit at the chance to say fiance.
"It's nice to meet you Kurt." His dad put his hand out and Kurt shook it hesitantly. "Kurt, this is Jessica." He laughed a little. Jessica reached out and shook Kurt's hand.
"And this is Bailee." Jessica finally spoke of the young girl standing next to her. "You're new little sister.. Well half sister but-"
"How come you didn't mention her before?" Blaine asked quietly.
"Blaine don't be angry at your father I just didn't want you to be angry at him and-" Jessica spoke the most since she'd shown up at the door.
"I'm not angry.." he smiled a bit, loosening up a little after looking down at the adorable toddler infront of him. "I just wish I would have known that I had a little sister. Does Cooper know?"
"He found out a little while ago but we wanted to wait until you could meet her in person.." Blaine's father spoke up again. "Bails?" His dad talked in a soft tone that Blaine didn't even know exsisted in his dad. Not that he thought his dad couldn't be gentle. He was always just so put together. "Why don't you go say hi to Blaine?" He asked gently.
The little girl, Bailee, shook her head and hid behind her mothers legs. "I'm sorry, she's a little shy, i'm sure she'll warm up to two you soon."
Blaine bent down on the ground. "Hi , I'm Blaine." he smiled at the little girl. She peaked out from behind her moms legs, her tiny thumb in her mouth. "What's your name?" He asked.
"Baiwee." She said from between her thumb. She walked out a little more. Jessica put a hand down on her head and moved a few inches from the little girl. She didn't seem to notice. Only looking at Blaine. Kurt led them into the small apartment.
"That's a cool name.." Blaine offered.
"Fanks." She smiled a little bit. "Are you my bruffer?" She asked timidly.
"Only if you want me to be." He grinned. She looked at him as if she were thinking about it. She nodded her head firmly. He smiled at her and put out his hand. She took it with only a little hesitation. He led her into the house. It was definitely going to take him a while getting used to having a little sister.
