Kurt sat on the couch, his eyes trained on the tv screen, checking the weather for what Blaine was sure was the fifteenth time in the last hour.

"Babe?" Blaine called from the desk he was sitting at across the room.

"MmHmm?" Kurt responded, still payed attention to the tv.

"I think we'll be okay..It's only a tornado watch, not a warning, if we hear the sirens, we'll go downstairs okay?"

"O-Okay.." He nodded, trying to seem more convinced for the sake of his boyfriend.

Blaine stood up from the desk and walked over to the couch, sitting down next to Kurt. His head being drawn to the taller boy's shoulder. He traced small things into his boyfriend's leg while watching whatever movie was on the tv after Kurt had turned it from the weather.

They both sat content and silent. They sat this way, Kurt occasionally looking out the window watching the wind blow, for almost an hour.

Crash.

They both jumped, Kurt jumping away from Blaine unintentionally. Blaine stretched his arm out and pulled the brunette closer to him.

Bang.

Kurt jumped again, this time moving in closer to Blaine and burrying his head in his boyfriend's neck.

"I never knew you were afraid of storms.." Blaine kissed the top of Kurt's head.

"My mom was, and I think she kind of trained me into being afraid of them." He spoke into Blaine's shoulder.

"Oh.." Blaine nodded and went silent.

Kurt remained with his head on Blaine's shoulder, listening to whatever Blaine was watching.

A bright flash showed through the windows, with a loud crash following. This made both boys jump.

Kurt clung closer to the curly haired boy, slightly shaking.

Blaine kissed his hair and sighed contently.

He thinks he might love thunderstorms.
