Blaine stumbled into his house, for once loving the fact that his parents were never home. He slammed the front door noisily behind him and practically stomped through the house. On his way up to his bedroom he heard a faint tapping at the floor, he knew it was going to be Harry.
He looked down to see the his chocolate lab puppy looking up at him. He lazily picked the small dog off of the floor and carried him into his bedroom. He fell backwards onto the bed looking up at the ceiling with Harry lying on his chest.
"I really messed up Harry.." He slurred and petted the dog. He looked down at his phone wishing it would light up with a call, or a text from Kurt.
He gently put the dog down on his bed, suprised he could honeslty do it in the drunken state he was in. He walked over to the study area in his bedroom and plugged his phone in to the charger.
Kurt couldn't get a hold of him if his phone was dead.
He began pacing back and forth. Once to the bed, once back to the desk to see if there were any new calls or messages. He paced for almost two hours, by the end of the time already more sober than he was when he got home.
It was like something inside of him switched. He'd suddenly remembered the whole night and how it had played out.
His normally olive colored skin turning a pale white, he ran his fingers through his destroyed hair. He sighed while some tears stung his eyes. He closed his eyes and a few of the tears fell down his face.
He put his hands on his head as if he were showing some sort of surrender before he realized no one could see him.
He walked over to his bed and carefully shifted the smally puppy that was sleeping soundly on top of the covers. He layed down on the bed looking up at the ceiling and letting the tears fall down his face. He slid his hands down his face to wipe them off. Grateful that no one was around to see him. Especially Kurt.
You're such a coward, you know that? You talk so much about having courage, and you don't even have enough courage to call your boyfriend.
He disolved into sobs, shaking and waking the small dog next to him. Who quietly walked on his bed and began to lick the tears off of his owners face.
Blaine ignored the movement and closed his eyes. Just wishing this would end. All of it. He wished he could take the whole entire night back.
He slowly felt himself start to drift off to sleep. He awoke to the sound of his phone vibrating on his desk. He couldn't imagine how quickly he'd made it over to the small table and answered it.
"Kurt..I'm so sorry."
