Blaine sat at a table in the coffee shop with Finn, Rachel, Tina, Mike and most of the other memebers of the New Directions. He toyed with the velvet ring box that was in his hand under the table. 

Puck looked around the coffee shop and rolled his eyes "You gonna talk Anderson?" 

"I uh, wanted to ask you guys a question.." 

"Go for it.." Artie sent him a warm smile. 

"Say, hypothetically.." He stuttered "If I asked Kurt to marry me would he-" 

"Oh my God!" Rachel Sqealed "Quinn you were right!" Quinn smiled at her before turning to Blaine and smiling even bigger at him. 

"Of course he would say yes! Come on! We've all been waiting for you to do it for ever!" Finn stared at him with wide eyes. 

"Yeah why didn't you do it earlier?" Quinn asked, leaning over the table and grabbing his hand that was on the table.  

"I just haven't been able to do it yet.." 

"Well why not?" Mercedes questioned him. 

He sat the ring box up on the small table that was covered in all of their disposable coffee cups. 

Rachel took the box and opened it, staring at the simple white gold ring that had a few diamonds on the side of it. "It's amazing Blaine..Why haven't you asked yet?" 

"I just.." He sighed "I want it to be perfect.."
