AN: Thanks so much for reading!
Ill be waiting under the mistletoe,
while youre driving here through the winter snow.
Kurt looked up from the book he was reading to see the headlights pulling up in the driveway. He smiled and gently spoke.
"Daddys home." He smiled at the snoozing one year old in his arms. He hadnt noticed when shed fallen asleep, be she looked like she was out cold. He stood, laying her on the couch, putting ua barrier of pillows so she could fall off. He walked up to the front door to open it for his husband.
Blaine rushed in, work folders in his hands, trying to escape the snow that was blowing in his face and sticking to his hair and coat. He stopped once the door was closed and kissed Kurt, pulling him close, wrapping his arms around the other mans waist.
"I missed you.." Blaine whispered.
"You were only gone for a few hours." Kurt smiled into Blaines lips.
"But its Christmas eve, and I dont wanna be away from you and Karlie, its her first Christmas that shell really remember, hopefully.." Blaine stopped, just leaning back in to his husband. His eyes wandered up to the doorframe above them.
"Were you waiting for me under the mistletoe?" Blaine grinned.
"Maybe." Kurt smiled cooly. Blaine pulled him in and kissed him deeply.
"This might be the best Christmas ever." He whispered.
"I think were gonna say that every year." The countertenor laughed.
A small whining noise came from the room next to them. Both men girnned and walked into the next room.
Karlie was sitting up in the middle of the pillows around her, wiping the sleep from her eyes, looking around.
"Dadadadada!" She started to grin.
"Hi sweetheart!" He picked her up, snuggling her close, nuzzling his nose deep into her dark hair, inhaling the sent of both her formula and baby shampoo. He sat down, Karlie was still in his arms, now she was facing him.
"What did you do with Papa while I was gone?"
"Papa!" She squealed with a smile.
"Yeah, Papa." He beamed.
Kurt smiled at the sight of his family.
