The next morning, when Kurt comes stumbling into the dining area after he gets out of the shower, theres a package sitting on the table in front of the chair he normally sits in. Blaine schools his face to blankness, finishing his cup of yogurt.
"Whats this?" Kurt asks curiously, peeking over the edge of the bag.
"Open it."
Kurts eyes narrow suspiciously at him. "What did you do?"
Blaine just shrugs and continues eating until Kurt gives in and finally opens the bag. Pulling out a wad of tissue paper, he finally comes up with the actual gift; a leather portfolio, complete with sketch pad. Kurt sits down hard on the chair, his eyes wide as he stares at it.
"Blaine, what- how-"
Blaine laughs. "You said last night that you wanted to be a fashion designer, right? Theres also a set of pencils in the bag for you."
Kurts eyes are huge as he looks over at Blaine. "I cant believe you would do this for me. When did you go and buy it? Its still early!"
"The concierge here at the Regent Beverly Wilshire is top notch and full of connections. I simply called them up and had them order one to be wrapped and delivered first thing this morning." He props his chin on his hand and watches Kurt run his fingers over the leather. "Do you like it?"
"Do I? Blaine, this is one of the most amazing things Ive ever gotten from someone before," Kurt says, tearing his eyes away from his gift to stare at Blaine in amazement. "I dont know how I could ever thank you."
"Well, there is one thing you can do," Blaine says slyly.
"Anything."
"Be ready and wearing the suit hanging by the front door at five tonight."
Kurt smiles, huge and showing all of his perfect little teeth. "I think I can manage that."
"Of course, you might want to wait until after your spa day." Blaine smirks at Kurts gasp, grunting when the boy flings his arms around his neck.
"You got me a spa day, too? I cant believe this!"
Blaine laughs, holding him close. "Go, get ready. The information is in an envelope on the table by the door."
"Youre amazing, thank you so much." Kurt pecks his cheek before letting go and hurrying to the bathroom.

Blaine goes in to work like normal, but today there is a pep in his step and he feels a bit like hes floating. Several employees look at him oddly as he passes them in the hall and it isnt until after lunch that he realizes why.
"Youre awful cheery today," Elis secretary, Lanie, says as she drops off a plate of food for him, since hes working through his lunch hour. "I cant remember the last time I saw you smile this much."
Blaine blinks, pulled out of his brown study. "I smile all the time!"
"But never this much. Its constant." Lanie watches him for a second, a gentle smile on her own face. "Its a good thing, sir," she clarifies.
"Ah, thank you, that will be all, Lanie," is all he says, clearing his throat.
"Youre welcome, sir." She leaves, closing the door quietly behind her, and Blaine is left to eat and ponder at how much his life has changed in just a few short days.
He powers through work, intent on the time passing quickly so that he can get on with his plans for the evening. It had taken a bit of doing, but he finally got everything set up and now its just a waiting game. Jan, one of the runners in the office, comes in ten minutes before hes planning to leave and sets a thick binder of papers on his desk.
"Whats this?" he asks, looking up from what he has been working on.
"The contracts. Mr. Collins said to give them to you so you can read over them," she tells him, looking a bit nervous.
Blaine checks the time and feels an overwhelming sense of not caring. "Ill deal with these later. I actually need to be leaving now."
"Yes, sir," she says, scampering off with the contracts in her arms. Blaine packs up his laptop and follows behind her just in time to hear Eli ask, "Wait, where are you going? Did he sign those?"
"No, sir, he said he had to be going," Jan says, seconds before he rounds the corner.
"He what- Blaine, you cant leave now!" Eli exclaims as soon as he spots him. "Were in this too deep; now is the time for the kill."
"Dont panic, Eli," Blaine says nonchalantly. Hes still upset about what his lawyer had done the day before and had steadfastly avoided seeing him the whole day. "Evans isnt going anywhere and Ill be back in the morning." He turns to Lanie. "Did you get the tickets?"
"Yes, sir, I had them sent to the hotel."
Blaine raps his knuckles sharply on the desk. "Thank you very much." He starts to walk away, only for Eli to follow him.
"Where are you going?"
"I have a date."
"With the hooker?" Eli doesnt even try to keep his voice down, much to Blaines annoyance. He stops, taking a breath to calm himself before turning around. Eli just looks exasperated.
"I would tread very lightly if I were you."
He leaves before he does something hed regret, but the bad taste lingers in his mouth. Once Finn drops him off at the hotel with instructions to meet him back in the front in one hour, he collects his things from the front desk and greets Noah as he gets on the elevator. Once hes at the penthouse, he calls out to Kurt.
"Im in the bathroom!" Blaine finds him leaning over the sink, studiously fixing his hair. "Im sorry, I thought you said five, Ill be done in-"
"No, youre fine; Im just early," Blaine says, looking over the slim line of Kurts body, already dressed in the pants and pressed white shirt of his suit, mostly buttoned and the sleeves still open. He really needs to just spend some time devoted only to that ass. "Im going to get changed in the bedroom, okay?" His hair is still fine from when he left that morning, so all that is left is to change into a formal tux.
He leans against the bar once hes done, suddenly nervous. Kurt could hate their plans for the night, could decide that Blaine is just as useless and old-fashioned as he sometimes feels.
Or he could love it and it could be one of the best nights of his life.
Blaine fiddles with the box in his hand as he listens to Kurt finish getting ready. His back is actually to the door when it opens, so he misses the grand reveal, but his jaw still drops when he sees Kurt in the finely pressed, tailored tux he had ordered from Ms. Adams. She had been more than happy to accommodate him after the amount of money Kurt had spent.
Kurt is…
Hes stunning.
The suit shows off his lean body and accentuates the fine lines of his thighs and, oh god, Blaine almost chokes on his spit when Kurt turns around because his shoulders look ridiculously broad and his waist narrow and-
"You look amazing."
And his mouth is dumb. Amazing, thats all you can come up with?
Kurt blushes, glancing down. "Thank you." He walks down the two steps and stands in front of Blaine, smoothing his hand over his chest. "You look very dapper in your suit, as well."
"You do seem to be missing something, however."
Kurt frowns, looking down at his outfit and Blaine lifts up the box. Kurt eyes it nervously as its opened to reveal a brooch.
"Oh, my god, its gorgeous," he breathes, leaning down to look closer.
"It doesnt hold a candle to you," Blaine says, "but I thought the green would bring out your eyes."
Blaine pulls it away, and carefully removes it from its box. He pins it to where Kurt points he wants it and steps back, admiring it. Its small enough that it sits in the middle of his palm easily, with four ribbons of platinum set with round and baguette diamonds hanging down, one set with emeralds wrapped around them, and two peeking from the top, one diamond and one emerald, with a spray of marquise cut diamonds.
"This is a unique piece, one that should belong on an equally unique person," Blaine says, finally looking up at Kurt, who looks shocked.
"I- Thank you, Blaine." He can see Kurt fingering it delicately as he turns to grab their tickets. "Where did you get this?"
"Its on loan from the jewelers."
"A jewelry store is letting you borrow this?"
Blaine laughs, "I am a very good customer." Offering his arm to Kurt, he asks, "Are you ready?"
"As Ill ever be for going to somewhere unknown," Kurt quips. They leave, Blaine pressing the button for the elevator once they step outside. "How much would this have cost if you had bought it?"
"A hundred thousand dollars."
Kurt looks like hes about to choke. "A hun- Wow."
Blaine shrugs as the elevator doors open and Noah steps out. "Going down?"
"Yes, we are." Blaine leads Kurt inside and they stand behind Noah, who takes them down to the lobby. He cant help but notice as most of the staff on duty stops what theyre doing, grinning in their direction as they walk across the polished floors. "You look very handsome in that tux," Blaine says. "And very tall all of a sudden. You didnt grow a few inches in the past hour did you?"
Kurt laughs lightly, shaking his head at him. Finn is waiting for them when they step outside and he holds the door open, allowing them to scoot inside.
"So where are we going?" Kurt asks before they even pull out into traffic, and Blaine laughs.
"Youll see."
Kurt pouts, his bottom lips poking out adorably. "I hate not knowing."
"Oh, youll be fine, I promise."
As cute as he is when pouting, Blaine doesnt want Kurt to cross over into annoyed territory, so he distracts him with stories of New York, since Kurt had told him about wanting to go there. He tells him about the good and the bad, about the view from his building and long walks in Central Park on the rare occasion that he had made it there. The glitz, the grit, everything in between, and Kurt is fascinated, listening with rapt attention and quick with eager questions. It isnt until Finn is pulling up next to a small plane on the tarmac that Kurt realizes where they are.
"Whats going on?" he asks as they step out of the limo. Finn is smiling knowingly at him as he shuts the door and straightens into his usual position, back straight and hands clasped in front of him.
"You didnt think we were going to San Francisco in a limo, did you?" Blaine chuckles, leading Kurt down the short red carpet that led up to the stairs to the plane.
"Ive never been on a plane before," Kurt says in awe, eyes huge as he looks it over. He stumbles on one step due to his lack of attention, a blush staining his cheeks as he finally faces forward, taking in the lush interior and the openness of the floor plan. There are four plush armchairs, two on each side. He and Blaine choose the same side and it isnt until theyre seated and buckled in that Kurt seems to realize something.
"San Francisco? Thats where were going?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Youll see."
Kurt isnt able to argue since the pilot comes over the loudspeaker then. "Good evening. We will begin our ascent in just a moment, so please make sure everyone is buckled in." Someone, who Kurt guesses is the flight attendant - Do they have those on private planes? - comes by and checks the straps before going into the cockpit. He braces himself against the takeoff, his stomach dropping a bit and pressure steadily growing in his ears.
"Swallow."
"What?"
"Swallow, it makes your ears pop."
Despite the weird advice, Kurt does as hes told and sighs in relief when the pressure is relieved. Soon, theyre at cruising altitude and the pilot comes back over the loudspeaker.
"It should be a pretty smooth flight, Mr. Anderson. The weather is clear all the way up to San Francisco and we should be landing in about fifty minutes. Just press the call button if you need something."
Fifty minutes, huh? "Are they going to come back here?"
"Not unless we call them."
Kurt unbuckles when Blaine does and slips out of his seat. "So can I give you a proper thank you for tonight?" He straddles Blaines lap, taking in the bright hazel eyes sparkling up at him, warm hands gripping his hips.
"What did you have in mind?"
Kurts only answer is shimmy down, kneeling on the floor in front of Blaine and rubbing his crotch as he stares up at him through his lashes and bites his bottom lip. "I want to blow you."
"By all means, dont let me stop you." Blaine carefully cards his fingers through the hairs at the back of Kurts neck, taking care not to mess up the top so that Kurt will still look presentable.
Hes slow, but not methodical like he had been the first time. Despite what they both keep telling themselves, this is so much more than a business deal now. Kurt undoes Blaines pants, pulling his cock out of his underwear and stroking him slowly until hes half hard. "Blaine, can I- Can we not use a condom this time?" Kurt asks timidly, as though Blaine would deny him anything. "I want to feel you in my mouth."
His cock is well on its way to being truly hard now, just the thought of having the warm silk of Kurts mouth on him, sucking and licking, has his head falling back. "Fuck, yeah, yes, thats- so good."
Its better than he ever could have imagined when Kurt leans in, his pink tongue darting out to flick the slit before the whole head is engulfed in his mouth. "Oh god, oh god…" He can feel Kurt smirking around his cock, now fully hard and stretching Kurts lips, so pink and perfect-
"God, you look so hot sucking my cock," Blaine groans as he stares down at Kurt. His jaw is working as he takes Blaine deeper and then he takes Blaines cock all the way into the tight clutch of his throat, his nose buried in Blaines pubic hair. "Shit, baby- Oh my god!" he shouts as Kurt hums, the vibrations in combination with whatever the hell Kurt is doing with his tongue tipping him right over the edge until hes coming down Kurts throat.
Kurts just straightening up, looking like the cat who got the cream, when the pilot crackles over the speakers."Mr. Anderson, we will be landing in about twenty minutes."
"Kurt, that was..." Blaine blinks up at him, amazed.
"You didnt give me a chance to show the full extent of my skills last time," Kurt says, practically purring with satisfaction as he stands, trying to discreetly adjust his own throbbing erection.
"Do you want some help with that?" Blaine asks, gesturing to the obvious bulge, but Kurt shakes his head.
"No, this was about you, as a thank you-"
Blaine reaches out, capturing his wrist and tugging him closer. "It would please me greatly to take care of you." In more ways than one.
Kurt bites his swollen bottom lip for a second before nodding. "I probably wont last long."
"You wont hear me complaining." Hes quick to undo Kurts pants, pushing them and his underwear down to his mid-thigh. "Can I blow you without the condom, too?" At Kurts eager nod, Blaine leans forward, engulfing his cock in one move. Kurt plays with the little hairs at the back of Blaines neck, not even trying to hold back, focusing on the immense pleasure of Blaines mouth. He has never had a blow job without using a condom before, not even with ex-boyfriends, but he is sure he could get used to the feeling, especially if Blaine-
He comes with a sharp inhalation of air, trying not to make too much noise, worried the people in the cockpit will hear. His fingers tighten on Blaines hair as he comes in his mouth. He looks down when Blaine releases his cock and groans when he can see his throat working as he swallows Kurts come. "Fuck."
"Thank you."
"No, thank you. Ive never- that was-" Kurt collapses into his own chair with a dazed laugh, turning his head towards Blaine, whos just watching him with a small smile.
"That good, huh?"
"Dont get cocky."
"I thought I just did." And then Blaine fucking winks at him and Kurt doesnt stop the laughter bubbling inside him, grinning stupidly at Blaine.
The flight attendant walks in, smirking a little at the two of them. "Were about to land, so if youll please buckle up," she prompts. They both nod, Kurt still giggling and Blaine looking at Kurt as though he had never seen something quite that amazing before. After she checks their belts, she winks at Kurt and goes back into cockpit.
"In case I forget to tell you later, I had a really good time tonight," Kurt says, looking over at Blaine and not even bothering to try to squash the swelling rising in his chest.
Blaine just watches him as they start their descent. He has this secretive smile on his face even after they pull up to the Kensington Park Hotel and the driver opens the door for them. Kurt doesnt even really take in the hotel as they walk through it, so self-conscious about Blaines stare that he barely even registers the fact that theyre taking the elevator up to the second floor. They step out and go into-
"A theatre?" Kurt gasps, taking in the stage and the seats and, wow, this is so not what he expected to happen.
"You said youve always wanted to go to one," Blaine points out as theyre shown to their seats, four rows back from the stage on the right side, two seats deep from the aisle. "I know you wanted to go to New York, but with the time difference, I wasnt able to pull it off. But the San Francisco Playhouse is supposed to be right up there with Broadway in terms of quality."
Kurt leans over and kisses his cheek. "Its going to be amazing; thank you. What show are we watching?"
Blaine grins and winks. "Youll see."
And he does, because from the moment the curtain opens and the first strands of No One Mourns the Wicked play, he knows, knows this whole musical like the back of his hand; hell, he could sing the entire soundtrack to Wicked from memory and does, mouthing along to the songs and dialogue alike. His hand somehow finds Blaines and every time he squeezes it in excitement, he can feel Blaines eyes on him, watching him, watching one of Kurts dreams come true. The only thing that could have made it better-
"If only they would do a genderbent version! I would make a perfect Guy-linda," Kurt jokes, leaning into Blaine as they walk out.
"You really would. I can see it now, Wicked starring Kurt Hummel." Blaine fans his hands out in front of them, as though reading along to an actual sign.
"I would love to see my name in lights," Kurt says, laughing, "but Im not going to hold my breath for it either."
Blaine bumps their shoulders together as they step into the elevator. "You never know what the future might hold."
The flight and drive back is filled with giddy recounting of the show and Kurts so pumped that hes not sure how hes supposed to sleep that night. When Blaine suggests a game of chess, he decides to go with it.
"Dont be upset when I kick your ass," Kurt warns as they get settled at the dining room table.
"I was the chess champ six years running, Id like to see you try," Blaine replies with a smirk.
Blaine lights a couple of candles and they play by candlelight. The seriousness of the game is quickly overtaken by laughter as Kurt moves pieces that shouldnt be moved, giggling as he trounces Blaine with a series of illegal moves.
"You cant do that!" Blaine laughs.
"Youre just mad because Im kicking your ass," Kurt shoots back as they reset the board. Blaine watches him as he moves his Queen three squares forward.
"Dont- You cant just move the Queen whenever you want!" Blaine says, still laughing as he shakes his head.
"I can do whatever I want in Kurt Chess. Its in the rules."
"Kurt Chess?"
"Yeah, I invented it. There are only two rules."
"Im guessing rule number one is you can do whatever you want?"
"Mmhmm."
"And rule number two?"
"I always win."
Blaine snorts as Kurt once again makes a move that, if it were really chess, would cause him to lose. Twisting his wrist, he looks at his watch and sighs. "Well, Im going to have to challenge you to a rematch tomorrow, then."
"Why?"
"Its really late and I have to go to work tomorrow." Despite his words, Blaine just sits there, head propped up on his chin, watching Kurt.
"I have an idea."
"Hm."
"Why dont you not go to work tomorrow."
"What?"
"Take the day off; spend it with me."
And there, that sweet, pleading look, almost innocent, is what keeps drawing Blaine back in, making him want to keep Kurt with him and take care of him forever. "Take off work? You do know youre talking to the guy who hasnt taken a day of work in six years, right? Me, not go to work?"
"Yeah, I know, I just thought… Maybe?" Kurt looks so uneasy that Blaine is quick to reassure him.
"Well, I do own the company…"
The way Kurts entire face brightens is more than worth whatever issues he might have to deal with tomorrow when Eli finds out. They reset the board and start again.
888
They sleep in.
Well, Kurt sleeps in. Blaine sleeps, of course he does, but hes still up much earlier than Kurt, who is used to working most nights and sleeping most days. He gets what work he can done before Kurt wakes up and, once theyve eaten, they head out.
First is the Getty Center. Kurt is fascinated by the Old World art, lingering around the Monet and eventually revealing that hes one of Kurts favorite artists. Once Kurt is finally able to drag himself away, they go to the Griffith Observatory and compare the Hall of the Sky to the Hall of the Eye.
"Its funny, when you think about it," Blaine says as they get back into the limo and Finn pulls away.
"Whats that?"
"How similar people and space really are."
Kurt cuts a sideways look at him. "Youre not going to get all philosophical on me, are you? Because I dont think I can handle that today."
Blaine laughs, shaking his head. "No, not today. Maybe some other time." Kurt agrees, both of them pretending that this isnt one of the last days theyll have together.
Next is Grand Central Market, where they eat and wander through the stalls, checking out the different vendors and sampling anything anyone offers them. Theyre stuffed by the time they leave, both agreeing that they would have to come back another time to get the full taste experience.
The Huntington Library is next, though they bypass that and the Art Collection and go straight to the Botanical Gardens. Kurt automatically pulls him to the Shakespeare Garden first and they spend a couple of hours looking there and at the Chinese Garden, the Jungle Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Desert Garden, and finally ending at the Camellia Collection. Kurt wants to stay there forever, but Blaine tempts him away with promises of something even better for their last part of the day. Its further out than any of the other destinations had been, so they settle in for a long drive and it isnt long before Kurt realizes that Blaines phone is buzzing.
"Do you need to get that?" he asks, nudging Blaines shoulder to pull his attention off of his tablet. The only time Kurt has allowed him on it is when theyre in the car on the way to the next stop. He knows he wont be able to keep him off, but he figures theyre only in the car for a few minutes, so theres not much Blaine can do.
"No, its probably just Eli," Blaine says distractedly.
"I think you should."
"Why? Hes just calling to bitch at me."
"It could be important."
Blaine finally looks up, eyeing Kurt suspiciously. "Why are you so insistent on this?"
"Im not! I just dont want it to be something important you miss out on!"
Kurts expression is too innocent, but Blaine lets it pass, fishing his phone out. "Hello?"
"Blaine, where the hell have you been all day? Ive been trying to get ahold of you for hours." The rest of his words go in one ear and out of the other as Kurt reaches over and begins rubbing over the slight bulge in Blaines slacks. It feels good, but he took this call and so he needs to focus on it; he smacks Kurts hand and gives him a warning glare.
"Okay, whats wrong with it, then?" Kurt reaches over again, smirking mischievously, rubbing harder over his cock. Smack. "Just read me the first three pages, it should be somewhere in there." Theres a mouth on his free ear and the hand is slowly unzipping his pants, so Blaine resigns himself to not being able to focus on anything Eli says.
"Keep talking to him," Kurt breathes in his ear before taking the lobe in his mouth and biting it gently. He takes Blaines cock out of his underwear and starts stroking.
"You are an evil little man," Blaine murmurs, lifting his phone away from his mouth.
"What?"
"I was talking to someone ELse, Eli."
"What are you doing? Are you okay?"
"Yeah, Im fine. Uh, keep reading."
Its torture, trying to concentrate on what Eli is telling him while also trying not to moan as Kurt twists his wrist, his thumb ghosting over the slit of Blaines cock, and he doesnt last long before he says, "I have to go, Eli. Ill call you back." The red end button is pressed before Eli can protest and Blaine whines, "Fuck, Kurt, Im going to come."
"When we get back, I want you to fuck me against the window so everyone can see."
Blaine comes harder than he ever has before, little stars dancing in front of his clenched-tight eyes. He feels Kurt moving away from him after putting him back in his pants and zipping them up and cracks open his eyes to see that he had caught all of the come in a napkin and hes throwing it away in the trash can on the opposite side of the car. He tucks himself back to Blaines side when he settles back down and Blaine presses a kiss to his forehead.
"I cant believe you just jerked me off while I was on the phone," he muses after a few minutes of comfortable silence. Kurt laughs quietly, burying his face into Blaines shoulder.
"I dont know why I did; I just felt inspired, I guess."
Blaine laughs, hugging Kurt closer. "I consider it adequate payback for not telling you about last night."
"I think I can agree to those terms."
They pull up to the next place a few minutes later and Kurt becomes giddy when he finds out that theyre going horseback riding and then having a picnic. The woods are huge and quiet with their silence and Blaine leads them to a little clearing where they set up the pre-packed picnic on the blanket the place had provided. The horses chew on grass on the edge of the clearing while they eat. Kurt tells Blaine stories of his old glee club back in Ohio and the silly fights they would all get into and him throwing a diva-off because of the calls his father had been getting. After that, Blaine insists that Kurt sing Defying Gravity for him and applauds with wide eyes after hes done.
"Youre really good, Kurt," he says in awe.
"I know." Kurt preens under the praise, but theres still an undercurrent of sadness there.
"You really miss your dad, dont you?"
"Every day," Kurt nods. "After my mom died, we were all each other had. I just know he would be so disappointed if he could see how I ended up."
Blaine pulls him close, trying to send comfort to him through osmosis. "I think he would love you no matter what your life is like now. Its not like you killed a man."
Kurt stiffens in his arms. "Oh, I didnt tell you about Utah…"
Blaine pulls away and stares at him. "What?"
"Yeah, there was-" He starts giggling before he can finish his sentence. "Im kidding, but your face was priceless!"
"Jerk," Blaine says, gently pushing Kurt away.
"At least Im adorable."
"Yes, you are."
"This is beautiful," Kurt says, taking in the surrounding area as he lays back on the blanket after they finish their dinner. "How did you find out about this place?"
"I told you, the concierge at the hotel is nothing short of amazing." Blaine lies down next to him and together they stare at the slowly darkening sky, pointing out what shapes they can through the canopy of the trees. Soon, its dark enough that they have to start heading back and their horses pick their way through the undergrowth easily. Once they break through the woods, they slowly head towards the stables, doing their best to hold off the ending for as long as they can. Kurt leans over, squeezing Blaines thigh gently as Blaine points out the horizon, the streaks of pink and blue and purple covering the distant sky. That spot on Blaines leg tingles for a long time afterwards.
Eventually, they dismount, leading the horses the rest of the way to the stables. Kurt turns, walking backwards as he finishes telling Blaine a story about the time he and Tina had gone to the Chinese Theatre and Tina got into a fight with a guy claiming to be a superhero. The rapidly dying sunlight catches his hair, throwing a hazy halo of red around his head and Blaines pretty sure hes never been more in love than he is now, watching this young man smile so widely, his eyes squinted in happiness. When Kurt laughs at something one of the handlers say, its with his whole body, shaking as he throws his head back, clutching his sides. Blaine wants more than a week, but knows that forever just isnt in the cards right now. Hiring Kurt had been a way to protect himself from romantic entanglements and now here he is, in a tightly woven web, knotted and impossibly ensnared.
"Did you know that horses really like classical music?" Blaine says on the way back to the hotel. Kurt has one of Blaines hands in his lap, running the front his fingers over the front of Blaines gently as he stares out of the window, distracted. "So I think it would be neat to go out horseback riding and just play Bach as you go through the woods. I dont know, it just seems like it would be relaxing... and youre fidgeting. You never fidget; whats wrong?"
"Hm?" Kurt finally looks at him. "Oh, um, I was just wondering, do you mind if we stop at a club up here? I want to check on my roommate."
"Sure thats fine."
"Yeah?"
"Finn."
"Yes, Mr. Anderson?"
"Finn, can you just pull into that back alleyway, please? Thank you." Kurt turns to Blaine. "And thank you. I havent heard from her in a few days and Im worried."
"Its fine, I promise," Blaine says as Finn passes the club. "The Blue Banana, huh?"
Kurt laughs. "Yeah, the Blue Banana."
"Sounds delicious." They pull around back and Kurt opens the door, sliding out and trying not to sigh as Blaine follows.
"This looks like a very nice place."
"Uh-huh." Kurt glances around at the people propped up against the walls of the alley or sitting on various crates, car hoods, staircases and whatever else they could find. Drug deals go down right before their eyes and Kurt starts to regret this, but he needs to know that Tina is okay and this is the best lead he has right now. "I just wanna run in for a minute to see if shes here, okay? So you, you just stay here and Ill be right back."
"Sure thing."
"Im already hoping nobody saw the limo," Kurt mutters as he walks away, though he cant keep the smile off his face when he hears Blaine call back, "Ill block it with my body!"
The club isnt packed, but its busier than usual and Kurt desperately scans over the faces of the patrons, looking for his friend. He hears a couple of compliments from people as he works his way through the crowd, but he ignores them, zeroing in on a familiar face dancing at the edge of the throng. "Hey, Marley, have you seen Tina?" he yells over the music once he gets close enough, but she shakes her head.
"No, sorry, I havent seen her since Tuesday."
"Shit," he mumbles before raising his voice, "Okay, thanks!"
"Hey, K, Dustins been looking for her too," Marley says, raising her eyebrows and giving him a look. "Be careful out there, kid; I hear hes looking for you, too."
Kurt rolls his eyes at that, but yells his thanks once more before heading over to the bar. "Hey, Schue!"
"Kurt, you clean up nice!"
"Thanks. Listen, have you seen Tina?" Kurt really starts worrying when Schue shakes his head.
"No, I heard she went to Santa Barbara to visit her mother or something."
"Okay, thanks. If you see her, tell her to call me, okay?" Schue nods and starts to walk away, but not before Kurt reaches out and taps the bill of the newsboy cap the man has set on top of his greying head. "I like the hat, by the way." Schue winks and goes down the bar to where some patrons are being rowdy and waiting to be served.
Kurt leaves, because Tinas not there and theres no point in lingering when no one has seen her in several days, and, yeah, hes also worried about having left Blaine outside in this neighborhood for so long. Once he sets out of the back of the club, he sees that his fears werent completely unfounded, as Dustin and his goons are standing between Blaine and the limo.
"Whats going on?" Kurt asks nervously, stepping up beside Blaine and eyeing Dustin.
"I have no idea. You left and suddenly I feel like Im in the middle of West Side Story," Blaine says, turning to look at him and obviously fighting a grin.
"You owe me some money, baby," Dustin says, staring hard at Kurt. "Three hundred dollars."
"What the hell are you talking about?"
"Interest rate, sweet thing."
"Dont you boys have school tomorrow?" Blaine muses, looking at the collection of guys in front of them. A girl perched on a stack of crates giggles until Dustin silences her with a look.
"Come on, baby, I heard you got yourself a new job. Seems like you can pay me back what you owe me."
"Lets just go," Kurt says, grabbing Blaines hand. He really doesnt want to have this conversation ever, but especially not with Blaine here.
"Oh, youre not going anywhere." Dustin steps in front of them, making to push Kurt back, and the group tightens their formation, blocking any possible escape. Blaine steps between them, trying to soothe the situation that Kurt can see is rapidly deteriorating.
"Hey, hey, hey, lets just all-"
"Hey nothing, you better back the fuck up. This aint your neighborhood, Beverly Hills," Dustin snaps and Tino jiggles his skateboard, making a long knife pop out of the front.
"I dont believe- He has a knife in his skateboard. Are you serious?" Blaine says, not even trying to hide the laughter in his voice. "Whats next?" he says towards Sandy, "Are you going strangle me with a Slinky? Christ."
The girl giggles again and this time, Dustin snaps, "Shut up." Kurt doesnt blame her; the only thing keeping him from smiling is the fear they wont get out of this unscathed.
"Okay, heres the deal. You believe this person," Blaine gestures to Kurt, "owes you, what, three hundred dollars?"
"Damn right he does."
"Why?"
"Because this is my block and hes been keeping my favorite toy from me."
"Shes not a toy!"
Blaine turns around, making a calm down motion with his hands. "His block?"
"Hes a drug dealer and a wannabe pimp; it has to do with Tina. Lets just go, Blaine." He starts to pull him again.
"Blaine, huh? So tell me, how does it feel to be a trick, Blaine?" Dustin asks scathingly, still blocking their path, and Blaine pushes Kurt behind him.
"I am not a trick. Do you want to see a trick? Finn!" Its then that Kurt notices the tall man (wow, did not realize he was that tall) leaning casually against the side of the limo. "Left pocket!"
Slowly and casually, Finn opens the left side flap of his suit jacket, revealing a gun in a holster. "Oh, would you look at that!" Blaine chirps. "And, yes, he does have a permit. Were going to have to bid you adieu, gentlemen." His hand is gentle on Kurts lower back as he leads him past the group. "Dont you ever come near him again," he hisses at Dustin, but Kurt hears the other man scoff. His hands are shaking as he slides into the car, thanking Finn for holding the door open, and once Blaine is inside, Finn casually walks around the car and starts it up, heading towards the hotel.
"Does Finn always carry a gun?" Kurt asks once the Blue Banana is far behind them. Hes still high on adrenaline, his body restless with the need to move, to get rid of the excess energy.
"When he drives me around, he does. You never know when youre going to run into a band of hooligans," Blaine adds with a smirk. The rest of the ride seems to fly by and as soon as they get into the room, Kurt makes a beeline for the bathroom, insisting he always feels the need to take a shower after talking to Dustin. Blaine just laughs and start getting bits of stuff together that hell need to catch up on his work. He settles on the bed after stripping down to his boxers, listening to Kurt splash around in the huge tub as he picks up his tablet.
Once Kurt is done bathing and applies a bit of moisturizing cream to his face, he goes out into the bedroom, fully expecting to lie down alone as he has done every night this week. This time, however, Blaine is there, propped up against the headboard and fast asleep.
Kurt grins. "He sleeps." He quietly makes his way over, picking up a few pieces of paper off of the bed and setting them on the nightstand before carefully easing the tablet out of Blaines loose grip. He sets it on top of the papers and sits on the edge of the bed, watching Blaines peacefully sleeping face, smiling because he just looks so adorable, his hair free of its gel confines and the perpetual lines around his eyes gone. On a whim, Kurt kisses the tip of his index finger and presses it lightly against Blaines lips.
Its not enough. The sudden, desperate need to feel Blaines lips against his own wells up inside of him and Kurt hesitates. It goes against everything Tina had taught him and every rule he has about getting too attached to a client. No one will have to know.
Slowly, he leans forward, applying the barest amount of pressure to Blaines lips, and he gasps when Blaines eyes open suddenly, his body jolting slightly as he wakes up. Shit, shit, shit. He moves back a couple of inches, eyes locked onto Blaines, his whole body tense with worry. When Blaine doesnt push him away, he leans in again, pressing their lips together. Blaine tilts his head, and suddenly its perfect.
Blaines hand comes up to cup his face and Kurts eyes flutter shut at the feeling. His lips are warm and a little dry, tugging at Kurts as they move, but theyre just as soft as Kurt has imagined so many times. He draws a shuddery breath in, his heart pounding his chest because this feels so right and Kurt never wants to stop, wants to be closer, to have their bodies pressed together. Blaine seems to have the same idea, holding onto Kurts face with both hands as he sits up, tongue flicking across the seam of Kurts lips until he opens up and then whimpers the moment Blaines tongue touches his. Blaine tilts his head to the perfect angle as their tongues slide against each other, breath coming harshly through their noses. Calloused fingers stroke over his neck and Kurt is embarrassed at the whine that comes from him as they linger over the sensitive spots. Blaine cups his face more firmly and pulls back just a bit, rubbing his nose against Kurts as he tries to gather himself.
Kurt cant wait, however, lips seeking Blaines again as though drawn there. He sucks Blaines bottom lip into his mouth and nips at it gently, his arms coming up to circle around Blaines neck, bringing him closer. Strong arms wrap themselves around his waist, cradling him as hes slowly lowered down onto the bed with Blaines compact body covering his naked chest. His hips are at an angle from Kurts and he quickly learns that its so Blaine can pull off the silky pajama bottoms he had put on after his bath, dropping them onto the floor without a second thought before doing the same with his own boxers, his lips still moving against Kurts. He lines up their hips, nestling between Kurts spread legs, finally, finally, and bracing himself over Kurt. A hand comes down to encourage Kurt to hook his leg over Blaines hip as they rock together, trying to find a good rhythm for them both.
It all clicks into place after several fumbling moments where they can barely separate their lips for longer than a few gasping breaths. Their cocks line up, Kurts nudging under the head of Blaines with each thrust, making him finally tear his mouth from Blaines as his head falls back. His chest heaves with each breath and his hands move to clutch Blaines shoulder, nails digging into the flesh with every rough thrust of their bodies. Blaines lips trail down his jaw and down to his throat, sucking at the sensitive skin over his pulse point and making Kurt whine. One of his hands fists the back of Blaines head, holding him to that spot as the heat coils low in his belly.
"Blaine, please!" Please what, he doesnt know, but Blaine seems to understand, the hand not holding Kurts leg fumbling under the pillows next to them. It comes back victorious, clutching the bottle of lube, which Kurt had shoved under there the night before in lieu of putting it up when they started talking. Their lips come together again, and again, and again, parting as little as possible as Blaine opens the lube between their bodies and dribbles some on his fingers. It oozes out too much in his haste and some falls on Kurts stomach, making him twitch and suck it in, his teeth sinking into Blaines bottom lip. Blaine lifts Kurts leg higher on his hip and circles two slick fingers around Kurts hole before sinking them both in slowly. Kurt moans at the stretch, his body automatically relaxing as he takes them easily.
"Thats it, come on, I want you," he pants after just a few minutes of Blaine moving his fingers as fast as he dares.
"No, I dont want to hurt you."
Kurt pulls Blaines head down until his lips are right by Blaines ear. "I want to feel you tomorrow."
Blaine shudders against him, groaning into Kurts neck. "Youre going to kill me." Still, he does as hes told, pulling his fingers out after a few more twists of his wrist, trying to spread the lube around as much as possible. He grabs the bottle again and pours some more into his hand before stroking it over his cock. Without looking down, he guides himself to Kurts hole and pauses. Their lips finally part and Blaine trains his eyes on Kurts face as he begins pushing inside. The first ring of muscle is so tight from not enough prep that Blaines afraid hes going to hurt one or both of them, but Kurts jaw just drops and his breathing turns ragged; he stubbornly doesnt look away. Whatever tension was in his body leaves, and, after Blaine pops through, the rest of the way is an easy glide until hes bottoming out, his hips flush with Kurts.
They hold each others gaze for a moment longer before Blaines kissing him again, feeling like a man starved for water and Kurts lips are his oasis; he cant get enough. His hips thrust in and out carefully, allowing Kurt to adjust to the stretch, but thats not what Kurt wants. He meant what he said about wanting to feel Blaine the next day, needing some kind of memory of what they have right now, what theyve shared today - hell, this whole week, if hes being honest with himself. He hitches both of his legs higher and uses his heels to urge Blaine to go fast, pressing them into his lower back. His nails dig into Blaines shoulders and he can feel little hairs pulling from his scalp as Blaine fists his hair. The pain seems to spur Blaine on, his hips picking up speed until his balls are loudly slapping Kurts ass.
They drink in each others lips as their bodies move and the ghosts of breaths over swollen skin urge their movements, the heat and sweat and lube between their bodies providing the perfect amount of friction for Kurts cock. Blaine sucks Kurts bottom lip into his mouth and his hand comes up from Kurts hip and tweaks his nipple. His body jolts and his cock twitches between them.
"Shit!" he gasps, arching up. "Do- do that again, please!"
Blaine does him one better, moving down until he can latch onto the other nipple, stimulating them both. His hips cant move as fast and he cant go as deep, but the combination of everything else nonetheless brings Kurt to the edge quickly and he lets go of the handful of Blaines hair he doesnt remember grabbing and reaches between them to stroke his swollen cock, nearly weeping as he furiously charges towards his release, coating their already sticky stomachs with his come. The pressure on his nipples becomes too much and he lifts Blaines face back to his, smashing their lips together and encouraging Blaine to fuck him harder, faster, whispering dirty things in his ear to make him come.
"I want you to come in my ass, fill me up and watch it leak out afterwards, want your tongue to lick it all up and push it back in, cant wait-"
Blaine whines, his hips spazzing as he comes. He thrusts in one last time and shudders, burying his face in Kurts neck as he breathes heavily. It takes him a few minutes before he rolls off of Kurt, his cock sliding out wetly and making Kurt wince. He can feel the come drying on his chest and leaking out of his ass and decides to go get a washcloth from the bathroom to clean off, but, almost as though hes reading Kurts mind, Blaine gets up and pads in there first, allowing Kurt an unimpeded view of his round ass bouncing away. The water runs for a minute and theres another minute before Blaine comes back into the bedroom, his cock clean and hanging soft between his thighs. He takes care while cleaning Kurt up, wiping his stomach off first and then settling between Kurts legs to carefully clean his hole. He wipes up the come and then focuses on the lube caked between his cheeks, reaching out every so often to catch the little dribbles of come that continue leak out.
Once hes satisfied, he tosses the cloth in the direction of the bathroom and they lay down. Kurt finds himself wrapped in Blaines arms, holding him tight to the other mans chest. He runs his fingers idly over the back of Blaines hand as he feels Blaines breathing slow where their bodies are touching. He fights the feeling welling in his chest and knows that hed only be lying to himself if he denies what he knows is true; hes never, ever allowed a man to fuck him bare and hes definitely never made love like they had just done.
"I love you," he whispers into the darkness of the room once hes sure that Blaines asleep, his breath slow and steady behind Kurt. It feels like a weight has been taken off of his shoulders and he snuggles down deeper into Blaines arms, no longer fighting the feelings, completely unaware of the fact that Blaine is, in fact, wide awake and staring down at the young man in his arms with something akin to shock.
