Author's Notes: Hey! I just want to thank anyone that's been reading so far. You guys are awesome:DEnjoy!

Kurt sat atop his plush white couch, his feet tucked snugly underneath his legs, as he braided Rachel's hair. After their little 'meeting' with Blaine's step sister, Santana, it had taken forty minutes, lots of reassuring words and a packet of gold star stickers to calm Rachel down. Kurt was still having trouble believing, not that Blaine had a sister at all, but that they both came from the same house hold. Blaine was polite and smart whilst Santana was…honest to say the least.

The small ipod sitting in the centre of the coffee table began to blast For Good out of its tiny speakers and Kurt immediately brightened up as he and Rachel began to hum along to the song. From the armchair she was sitting in, Mercedes rolled her eyes.

"Honestly," she muttered, "don't you theatre people listen to anything else?"

"Don't try to change a good thing, Mercedes," Rachel said as she paused from filing her nails. After a few more strokes of the file, Rachel sighed and tossed it aside.

"What is it?" Kurt asked knowingly.

Rachel put on a big show of sighing and rubbing her hands together, preparing to tell them what was bothering her so greatly.

"It's that Santana girl," Rachel grumbled. "She was so impolite! Nothing like Blaine. Oh, I wish I'd challenged her to a sing-off."

"Wait, what?" Mercedes leaned forward in interest and confusion. "Who's Santana?"

"Blaine's step sister," Kurt supplied, feeling a slight pang of annoyance. "She just transferred today."

Kurt saw Rachel with a playful grin stretched across her face out of the corner of his eye and he sighed, because he could already see where this was going.

"Aww," Rachel cooed, "are you still mad that Blaine kept it from you?"

Kurt's cheeks immediately coloured.

"What? No! Why - why would I?" he sputtered, feeling rather flustered at the mere mention of the hazel-eyed man.

Rachel grinned. "Maybe because you're totally in love with him and you want to know all about him."

Kurt's face turned as red as his crimson Jimmy Choo's and was about to retort before Rachel got up and started twirling around the room.

"Oh, I wonder what he likes," she sighed, prancing around the apartment in her pink nightie. "I bet he loves to slow dance in the ball room."

Kurt was rubbing his temples now both in embarrassment and exhaustion. He glared when he heard Mercedes stifling a laugh.

"Oh, Kurt, can't you see it?" she prattled on, stars twinkling in her eyes. "He'll ask you to dance and then take your hand and sweep you away with his fluid movements and charming demeanour."

"I'm about to sweep you away into the garbage shoot," Kurt growled dangerously and Rachel snapped her brown eyes back to him, pouting.

She sighed and flopped back onto the couch with a plop! Tucking her legs over Kurt's thighs, Rachel returned to filing her long nails.

Kurt rolled his eyes at her. He loved Rachel but sometimes the girl made him want to pull his hair out (which would be tragic). Besides, it was already confusing enough to think about Blaine, he didn't want his friends constantly commenting on the situation. Kurt was quite positive that he was falling for Blaine and he knew he shouldn't be. Love was never really a close friend of Kurt's but he really did want to be friends.

The problem with Blaine was that he kept getting mixed signals. One day, he would be all smiles and just a little bit flirty and then the next he'd be telling him they were great 'friends.' Blaine was someone he didn't want to be friends with.

"Wait, wait, hold up," Mercedes said, holding up her hands and bring Kurt back to reality. "You're telling me another person randomly showed up at your school today? You're joking."

"I wish we were," Rachel mumbled.

"Why?" Kurt asked, tying off Rachel's braid with a hair tie.

Mercedes shrugged and leaned back in the chair but her face was drawn with concentration. Kurt raised an eyebrow and laughed slightly.

"What's wrong, Mercedes?"

Mercedes looked him in the eye and said, "you guys had to work your butts off to get into that school."

Kurt's lips parted slightly as he wondered where she was going with this. Even Rachel looked up from her loathing of Santana to give Mercedes her attention.

Mercedes cleared her throat and asked, "don't you think that it's a little strange that people are starting to transfer in the middle of the year? And at the same time to?"

Kurt cocked his head to the side in consideration. He had thought it was odd when Blaine had arrived out of the blue at NYADA a couple of weeks ago but hadn't really given it that much thought. He'd said he was from a performing arts school in Canada and Kurt supposed it must've been a pretty prestigious one for him to him to just roll up to NYADA like that. Kurt realised he didn't know much about Blaine at all, other than his name.

Kurt shrugged his shoulders. "Well, they are some-what related. I guess if Blaine moved, he'd bring his sister with him."

"Blaine is a great performer," Rachel added and Kurt nodded in agreement.

Mercedes nodded but Kurt could see the distance in her expression and wondered what she was thinking.

---------

Santana let out a low whistle as she and Blaine approached the high-rise of Blaine's pent house. After a some-what catastrophic turn of events, Blaine had literally dragged Santana away from Rachel, insults still spewing from the latino's mouth. Blaine had considered telling her off, but he knew Santana well enough to know that she would just laugh in his face, so instead, quietly scolded her.

When they opened the doors to Blaine's suite, Santana eyed the place appreciatively. She turned on her heel and stared at Blaine with a expectant look.

"What?" Blaine asked after a minute or so of staring.

"I'm waiting for my 'thank you,'" Santana answered, cocking her hip out.

"For what?"

Santana raised an eyebrow and slowly turned in a circle. "Um, hello? If it weren't for me, you'd be sleeping in some barn in the middle of no where. I saved you from an unwanted meeting with baby Jesus."

"Okay, enough," he sighed, feeling very tired of this game. "Why are you here?"

"God," Santana murmured, making her way into the kitchen and opening the fridge door. "You'd think you'd be more happy to see me."

Blaine dragged a hand down his face.

"Of course I'm happy to see you!" he exclaimed, causing her to look up. "But I don't understand why you're here now. I thought Quinn wanted me to do this mission alone."

"Well, I guess she changed her mind," Santana shrugged, opening a can of pepsi.

Blaine stood still for a moment before his face dropped in realisation.

"Quinn sent you, didn't she?"

Santana looked affronted and made her way to lean against the counter top, facing Blaine.

"What if I just wanted to see my lil old partner?" she suggested, taking a swig of the drink.

"This is about the almost-kiss, isn't it?" Blaine questioned, feeling his anger start to bubble. "She doesn't trust me!"

Santana's shoulders slumped in resignation and she held up her hands defensively.

"Okay, yeah, fine," she sighed. "Quinn sent me. Happy?"

"No, I'm not 'happy!'" Blaine yelled, knowing his face was bright red. "How can I be happy when I know my team doesn't have faith in me anymore?"

"Hey," Santana said sternly, "we still have faith in you. Believe me, if it were up to me, I'd let you get it on with that boy so hard, but it's not. It's Quinn's. And she thinks you could you a hand from yours truly."

Blaine calmed down at that. He was happy to see Santana. Overjoyed! But he hadn't pictured their reunion in these circumstances. So, he let out a long sigh and nodded slightly, a smile pulling at his lips.

"Yeah," he agreed softly. "I guess it's a pretty sweet deal."

Santana smiled at that. "Good."

She then flounced over to the sofa and flopped onto the white leather unceremoniously. She swiped the remote of the coffee table and pointed it at the flat screen. Craning her head back, she grinned at Blaine.

"This place is pretty sweet," she remarked, laughing a little then turned back to the T.V. "Now, let's see what's on."

Blaine suddenly realised what was about to happen and barely had his mouth open, before the screen was filled with the image of Kurt, Mercedes and Rachel all lounging around their living room.

Santana slowly turned in her seat, a look of amusement, shock and glee all plastered across her face. Blaine opened his mouth to speak but just sighed and hung his head.

"Oh my God!" she cackled, dropping her head back and pointing at Blaine.

Blaine groaned and buried his face in his hands. When she continued laughing, Blaine yelled back, his face burning.

"It's for security purposes, okay!?"

Santana managed to control herself long enough to spit out, "No wonder you weren't excited to see me. By the looks of it, you've been having a blast without me. You got a shower cam in there to?"

Her voice broke on the last word before she collapsed into a fit of giggles.

Blaine blushed to he roots of his hair and responded indignantly.

"No! That would be creepy."

"Oh, honey," Santana chuckled, shaking her head, "that ship has sailed."

Still humming lightly, Santana finally settled down and watched the TV.

Blaine knew it was creep and weird and if Kurt ever found out about it, he'd probably call the police.

Blaine cautiously sat next to Santana on the sofa, still feeling slightly embarrassed. Santana tilted her head and eyed the screen.

"These are nice cameras," she commented. "It's so stalkerlicous."

Blaine ignored the comment and turned to her.

"So, what's going on back HQ?" he asked absently. "Did Brittany get anything more out of Moriyaki?"

Santana's smirk faltered and Blaine furrowed his brow.

"What is it?" he questioned instantly. "Did something happen?"

Santana rubbed the back of her neck uncomfortably. She cleared her throat and stared straight ahead. This only made Blaine more nervous.

"Well, uh, Moriyaki…he, um, he…"

"What!?" Blaine snapped in agitation.

Santana stared at her folded hands, her face drawn in confusion and apprehension. She finally turned to face Blaine and muttered under her breath.

"He got out."

At first, Blaine wasn't sure he'd heard her correctly. But when she continued to stare at him and waited for a reaction, he knew she was serious. Blaine inhaled sharply and gaped at her. Never, in the history of the Task Force, had a captive escaped.

"He wha- how!?" Blaine exclaimed, truly shocked.

Santana stood up and started pacing around the room.

"We don't know how it happened!" she told him, looking frantic. "I just went down there to check on him and he was gone! Vanished! No where to be found!"

"But how is that possible?" Blaine asked to no one in particular, running a hand through his curls.

"I have no idea!" Santana laughed harshly. "We did everything: checked the security camera's, interrogated everyone who saw him, tried tracing his steps. Nothing!"

Blaine tried not to panic and took in a calming breath. He propped his chin up in his palm and thought. HQ had all the top security equipment and it was kept in great shape. If there was ever a failing device, Artie would fix it in minutes. It would've been impossible for someone like Moriyaki, who had no knowledge of how to work the custom-made technology, to navigate his way out of the building.

He tilted his head in consideration when a thought occurred to him.

"Do you…" he began softly and Santana looked up at him. "Do you think…The Sins hacked the security system?"

Santana shook her head. "No way. Artie said it's impossible to access the computer without a DNA scan. The Sins wouldn't have been able to hack it even if they were in HQ sitting in Artie's chair."

"But that doesn't make any sense!" Blaine sighed in frustration.

They both dropped onto the couch in defeat. Blaine rolled his head around to see Santana staring at the ceiling. He really was glad that he had someone with him. Someone he could talk to without having to worry about his secret. Especially now since everything was in chaos: there was a Sin in New York, that new who he was, and was trying to kill him. And now Moriyaki had miraculously broken out of HQ, not to mention, his boss didn't trust him.

Blaine then wondered if they would ever find The Sins or figure out what they were after. They were further away from discovering the truth than when they had started. And it was killing him.

Blaine's phone vibrated in his pocket, snapping him out of his thoughts. He took it out and read the text on his screen.

From Kurt:

I hope you're happy. Thanks to your charming sister, I now have my hands full with the worlds must frustrating tantrum>:(

Blaine laughed and couldn't help but stroke his thumb over the screen adoringly. At least he had a reason to smile.

End Notes: So, yeah, I finally did Kurt's POV. Yay!
