Author's Notes: So let me know what you think about Blaine's choice to Mark Kurt without him knowing.
There was a deathly silence in the Anderson Pack. Every wolf sat before Blaine's cabin, in hope of some good news. Wes and David were back with bad news, the hunters escaped and that makes Blaine furious. Damian needed to pin him to the wall to snap him out of his state. Blaine felt himself useless. That he couldn't heal Kurt. He just needed to wait. If he wasn't so damn stupid to let himself distracted by his stupid Alpha he would have heard the hunters and they could run sooner. Than Kurt would be alive and than they could go to that dinner with his dad.
'Don't blame yourself, Son,' Damian said. He, Jane and Blaine were standing in the living room, watching the door of his bedroom, where Kurt lies.
'I should have protected him,' Blaine paced around. 'I'm a useless Alpha who couldn't even protect his own boyfriend to.. humans..'
'Hunters,' Jane corrected him. 'They are hunters, not humans. They are trained to kill.'
Blaine looked at her angry. 'What are you trying to say? That Kurt was lucky, that the silver bullet didn't killed him?'
'Don't speak that way to your mother,' Damian snapped. 'She is only trying to help, we all are.' He sighed. 'Kurt is indeed lucky to still be alive, Blaine. A silver bullet can kill a wolf. If shot in the heart. He lost a lot of blood... it could still kill him.'
Blaine growled. 'he better stay alive, I'm not ready to say goodbye to him.' Tears stinged his eyes.
The door opens. Joshua appeared. 'Excuse me. The pack wanted to know how he is. They're getting anxious.'
'Tell them that there is no change,' Damian said calm.
'If those witches just hurried up!' Blaine snapped, his eyes on the bedroom door.
Joshua takes a step toward Blaine. 'If I can do anything for you, Blaine? Just ask...'
'Just go away!!!' Blaine said not even looking at him. Joshua looked hurt and moved back.
'it's not your fault, Joshua,' Jane said softly. 'He's just worried about Kurt. When Kurt gets better you can speak to him, but just go now okay?'
Joshua nodded. The bedroom door opens. Santana appears, with Britney by her site. Blaine ran to her. 'And?'
'The bullet is removed, I gave him some witch blood, but... he's very weak, Blaine,' Santana shakes her head. 'He just needs rest. I can't do anything else for him.' They walked towards the bed.
'He really looks like snow-white now, pretty Dolphin,' Britney runs a finger over Kurt's cheek. She pulls her finger back. 'He's ice cold, Santana.'
Blaine walked quickly to the bed and touched his hands, Britney was right. 'Can you use your powers, Britney? We all need to know if he's going to be alright.'
Britney sighed. 'I can try.' She put her hand on Kurt's and closed her eyes. After a few minutes she smiled and Blaine took that as a good sign and felt relieved. She opened her eyes. 'I saw him happy standing in New York. He couldn't stop smiling. He will be fine.' Blaine wanted to ask if she saw someone standing next to Kurt in New York...him. But that wasn't important right know. Kurt was going to be fine, that's what matters.
'Just let him rest for tonight,' Santana said. 'His body needs to do the healing. Keep him warm.'
Howling sounded trough the air and they all jumped up.
'Other Alpha's, they can smell the blood in the wood from Kurt,' Damian said. He looked worried. 'I send some of my wolfs to scare them away, before they come here.'
Blaine nodded. 'I'm staying here.'
Joshua stepped forward. 'You can go with him, I will watch out for Kurt!'
'I'm staying,' Blaine said determinate.
'Britney and I are going home, I come back in the morning to check on him,' Santana said. She takes Britney hands and they leaving the bedroom.
'Blaine, can I talk to you for a second?' Damian said. 'Jane, can you call the wolfs together?' Jane nodded, turned and walked away. 'Come, I need to speak to you. Joshua can take care of Kurt for a second.'
Blaine looked at Kurt, took blankets from a closet and tucked Kurt in. He kissed his cheek and follows his dad. 'I don't know how many Alpha's are picking up Kurt's scent,' Damian said. 'He needs to be Marked, right now to keep him safe.'
'He's to weak, I don't want to hurt him,' Blaine argued.
'It's for the better, Blaine. A drop of blood is good enough. Kurt wouldn't notice.' Damian grabs a knife from his pocket.
'He will find out,' Blaine said. 'He would never trust me again.'
'He will come over it when he knows that you saved his life by doing this,' Damian said. 'I need to go.'
In the meantime Joshua walked towards Kurt. 'Those stupid hunters had to finish you when they had the change, I hate blood on my hands.' He grabs a pillow. He moved the pillow above Kurt's head. 'It's time to sleep! Forever.'
The door slams open and Blaine paced to the bed. 'What are you doing?!' He looked at the pillow.
'Ehh... just trying to make it comfortable for Kurt,' Joshua said quickly and laid the pillow next Kurt's head.
'Leave, and call Jeff,' Blaine commanded, laying the pillow against Kurt's head. Joshua sneaked out of the room. Blaine looked at his dad's knife. He knows what to do, it wouldn't hurt Kurt if he just be careful. Just a little drop of blood was enough. Jeff entered and looked shocked at the knife.
'You aren't gonna kill him right?'
Blaine turned and looked at him in confusion. 'oh... no of course not. I.... gonna Mark him. That and my Scent needs to be enough to keep the Alpha's away. Then we're going to deal with those hunters!' Jeff nodded. 'I want you to keep a eye out there, nobody comes in for at least a half hour,' Blaine said. 'O... and keep a eye on Joshua. I don't trust him. There is something wrong with him.'
Jeff looked stunned. 'but... he's Wes nephew.'
'That's why I call you and not Wes,' Blaine explained. 'I have enough to deal with, I can't handle a angry friend.'
'I understand, good luck,' Jeff winked and left the room.
Blaine walked to the bed and takes the knife. 'It's over soon, it doesn't hurt. I know you don't want this, but it's the safest way. I hope you understand.' He grabs Kurt's cold hand. He makes a cut in his hand, then cuts in his own hand and takes Kurt's bleeding hand. He shuffles next to Kurt and puts a arm around him, their hands still laced. Blaine heard howling and higher his scent. He felt the cold body and wrapped his arms closer on Kurt. He just laid there, trying to keep Kurt warm and waiting for the wound to heal. Then the Marking was done. Now they had a blood bond that never can be broken.
Blaine nuzzled in Kurt's hair. 'I'm never leaving you. I'll protect you forever.' Blaine smiled. He was happy that Kurt's was going to be okay, that Kurt laid next to him, alive. This was perfect. He wanted this moment to last forever.

'Where is my son?!'
Blaine jumped of the bed. He saw Kurt laying there, still unconscious, but with a blush on his cheeks. He walked outside. Burt and Adam stood before Jeff, Nick, Jane and Damian. Burt looked angry as hell. It was late at night.
'He's fine, just calm down,' Damian said calm.
'CALM DOWN! MY SON IS HIT WITH A SILVER BULLET AND YOU ARE TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN?!' Burt explodes. His eyes flashes to Blaine. 'You! I knew it was a mistake to let my son go with you! This is the second time he gets attacked when he's with you!'
'You're son is safe thanks to my son,' Damien said coldly. 'If it wasn't for your son my son would have been home safe!' Burt snapped.
'He is safe, thanks to my pack,' Damian growled angry.
'Where is Kurt?' Burt commanded.
'Inside, he's very weak and needs rest so you need to calm down,' Jane said calm. Adam laid a hand on Burt's shoulder and he seemed to relax a little. Blaine felt a jealous sting. He want that Burt liked him and accept the fact that he and Kurt are together.
'Okay, take me to my son,' Burt said. Blaine turned and goes ahead, Adam and Burt followed. Burt and Adam ran to the bed when they saw Kurt lay there.
'He's asleep, he needs to rest and then he will be fine,' Blaine said calm, he tried to ignore the hand of Adam on Kurt's arm.
'You call this fine?' Burt snapped. 'He's unconscious. He might never wake up. He needs a hospital.'
'That won't me necessary,' Jane walked in. 'Two witches have him checked and give him everything he needs to survive this. I understand you're, worry, Burt. If my children...'
'He is my only son,' Burt blinked back tears. 'You don't understand. I have nothing if I lose him.'
Adam padded his back reassuring. 'Kurt is gonna be fine. You don't really think that he would leave us without a goodbye?'
Blaine tensed at the us in Adam's sentence. Is he now part of the Hummel family or something? He felt a warm hand in his. He looked up. His mother smiled knowingly, she leaned forward and whispers: 'I know what the bonding does to your Alpha, just control it. It's too soon for them to know. Remember, Adam is just a friend.'
Blaine nodded. Jane looked at Burt and Adam. 'Want something to drink or eat? We have some leftovers from the hunt...'
'No thanks,' Burt said cold. 'Have you a second bed or something? I'm staying here tonight and tomorrow I bring my son home. It's better when he's home. I can supervise him better.'
Blaine tensed, the thought that Kurt is leaving making him sick. 'I'm looking out for him, I have a guess bedroom...'
Burt looked angry at Blaine and Adam jumped up. 'Then I'm taking the guess bedroom, I'll go make myself ready,' Adam walked quickly away.
'Is it so weird that I want to be by my son while he's fighting for his live?' Burt said.
Blaine crossed his arms for his chest. 'Is it weird that I want to be with my boyfriend?'
Burt sniffed. 'Do you really think that you two have a happy ending? He's going to New York over 2 weeks. How do you think that will work out?'
'we find something that will work,' Blaine said calm. His mind by Britney's vision about Kurt's New York future. He needs to speak to Britney about that.
'What if not?' Burt said. 'Kurt goes to New York, you stay here. You're Alpha will be graving for him... You'll make yourself crazy. It's not making you happy if you're staying in this relationship, and neither is Kurt.'
'What Kurt and I decide is not your business,' Blaine hissed.
'Well than I hope you make the right choice,' Burt said, he looked at Kurt. 'He's been through enough. Maybe it's for the best if you keep some distance. I don't want him to get hurt when you turn you back on him.'
'I will never turn my back on Kurt,' Blaine growled. 'I love him. I would do anything for him.'
Burt sniffed. 'I see you love him, Blaine and he likes you to. I'm not blind. I just know that there is nothing right about this. That it is not gonna end well. Just call it human instinct. If you're hesitate, ask one of your witches to see your future. Now do you mind leaving me and my son alone?' He turned his back on Blaine, who paced angry the bedroom out. He would ask Britney to foresee his future with Kurt, when they next visit. Then we'll see who's right!

'So I understand that you lost the white wolf?' Lucas sniffed at the two wounded men. He and Chad were called back to Lima by their college's with a very rare story about a white wolf.
'Those damn wolfs,' Cole snapped. 'They nearly got us.'
'So the white wolf has a pack?' Chad asks and wend trough the registrated papers.
'And a Alpha!' Rodney nodded. 'If it wasn't for him we had got our wolf tonight. We could be headed to the big cities to sell that stupid wolf.'
'Why can't I find that wolf in the papers?' Chad raised his eyebrow. 'No white wolf in a pack. There living three packs near Lima. The Anderson Pack, The Evans Pack and the Puckerman Pack. All wolfs are, brown, grey, black or blond.'
'We were near the Anderson Pack, what color has there Alpha?' Cole ask.
'Damian Anderson, 56, sixteen year leader of the Pack, moved here three years ago, brown fur,' Chad reads out loud.
'brown?' Rodney said. 'There was a black Alpha, I swear.'
Chad lifted his shoulders. 'Well, I think somebody cheated with the papers, considering you're story.'
'Let's begin with the Sheriff,' Rodney said. 'I don't trust him, maybe a little force will help...'
'Just let's think about this, guys. So we're looking for a white wolf who can turn human any time,' Lucas said. 'You hit him with a silver bullet. Does that ring a bell?' Everyone was looking at him like he was gone crazy.
'So?' Rodney asks confused.
'All we have to do is looking for a wounded human,' Lucas said. 'There is no way that a werewolf can recover within a night from a silver bullet.' They all smiled.
'Where do we begin?' Cole asks.
'Like Rodney suggested, with the sheriff,' Lucas smiled. 'Well, we better split up, we have two days to find this wolf. Cole, Rodney you investigate all the packs and Chad and I will talk to the Sherriff and the locals.'
