Author's Notes: I'm so sorry it took forever for me to post a chapter! We should have 1-3 more chapters to go!

When Kurt woke the following morning, his arm fell across the side of the bed where Blaine slept- only for his arm to land on the bed instead of across Blaine's body. He groaned, longing for Blaine's warmth. He supposed he could go pull him in from out on the beach or find out if he was in the kitchen or...wherever that wasn't where he wanted him to be.

Kurt dragged himself from the bed, looking through the house for Blaine first before he pulled on shorts and a tank top, walking out into the sand. The sand was soft and just slightly warm from the slowly rising sun. Kurt's eyes wandered, finally finding Blaine out in the ocean, swimming laps like he was in a pool. The waves were calm, and Blaine didn't seem to be struggling too much. Kurt had quickly found out that Blaine enjoyed the beach, especially being out in the sea.

Watching Blaine as he surfaced, coming up to tread water and rest, Kurt took the chance to call out to him. Blaine's head turned and a smile lit up his face as he started swimming towards the shore, meeting Kurt waist deep in the water.

"Good morning," Blaine murmured against his lips, earning a soft chuckle and smile from Kurt as his arms looped around Blaine's neck.

"Good morning...out for a swim, hm?"

Blaine nodded and smiled, bumping noses affectionately with Kurt. "And it seems my shadow has followed me..."

Kurt laughed, rolling his eyes as a smirk pulled at his lips. "You don't like me following you?"

Blaine laughed as well, gaze softening as he smiled at Kurt. "You know I really don't mind..."

"I know," Kurt murmured, pecking a kiss against Blaine's cheek. "And that's a good thing...because I would follow you anywhere."

"Anywhere?"

Kurt hummed softly in thought, nodding. "I'd follow you across Ohio, to the other side of the US, to another country...or just to the sea," he murmured, smiling.

"Good to know," Blaine murmured as he leaned in to kiss Kurt again, meeting his lips with a soft sigh.

"You know, we should probably take this inside," Kurt said with a soft chuckle as he pulled away slightly, meeting Blaine's eyes.

"And why's that?" Blaine asked with a smirk, his golden eyes gleaming mischievously in the morning sun.

"Oh stop it," Kurt said with a laugh, moving his arms so he could gently push against Blaine's chest. "Come on, we need to have breakfast so we can properly start our day. It's our last one here, after all."

Blaine groaned softly. "Don't remind me," He muttered with a sigh, following after Kurt as they walked back to the beach house.

Kurt and Blaine had their breakfast- eggs, bacon, and fruit that they fed each other as they laid out on the window seat. They giggled each time one would "accidently" miss the other's mouth, or when someone would let a tongue slip out as they took the fruit.

"You know, when we first met, I never would have dreamed I'd be feeding you strawberries in a beach house," Kurt murmured.

Blaine chewed up his strawberry, humming softly. "When I first met you, I know it definitely wouldn't have happened. God, I was such an ass to you," he muttered with a groan.

"You were an ass to everyone, Blaine," he pointed out, laughing at the pout that Blaine gave him. "I'm glad that's slowly changed, though. I mean sure, you can still be an ass...but so can everyone. I think you finally just let yourself open up instead of building so many walls. And you still have things I've liked about you since the beginning...you're witty, funny, protective...you look gorgeous with or without eyeliner...and, despite how my dad feels, I still love the motorcycle."

Blaine laughed, shaking his head as he smiled and looked up at Kurt.

"What?" Kurt questioned when Blaine didn't look away, still smiling goofily up at him.

"I just love you a lot..." Blaine murmured. "I don't know what I would do if you weren't a part of my life..."

"Blaine..." Kurt mumbled with a small laugh, burying his face against Blaine's neck, nuzzling there happily. "For a self-proclaimed badass, you sure are sweet..."

Blaine laughed, pressing a kiss to the side of Kurt's head. "Hey, badboys have hearts too, you know."

Kurt sat up a little, resting his hand against Blaine's chest, his heart beat steadily under his hand. "I think sometimes, maybe they have the biggest..."
