Kurt quickly, but reluctantly, removes himself from Blaine's hold and straightens himself out.
They both look away, embarrassed, but inside they both know that the other missed them just as much as they did.
They both walk to the curb and sit.
"Kurt," Blaine begins. "I just need to start off by saying that I am extremely sorry about what I said to you. I was so overwhelmed with emotion and hurt that I didn't even stop to think about whether Sebastian could be lying or not. I was stupid, and you didn't deserve that."
Kurt scoots an inch closer to Blaine, secretly trying to ignore the fact that he's sitting on the disgusting ground.
"I understand why you got upset," Kurt says. "It doesn't make it excusable, but I do get it."
"You have to know that I didn't know you guys' history at all!" Blaine places his hand on Kurt's shoulder, and Kurt looks down. "I would have never even thought about believing him. I am so incredibly sorry."
After a second, Kurt picks his head back up. "I accept your apology."
Blaine looks at him in shock. "You do? Thank God. Kurt, this will never happen again, I promise. These past couple of days have been so hard for me. I really do like you... more than you know."
Kurt smiles. "I like you, too. So, I think you deserve to know the truth." And his smile slowly turns into a grimace. He bites his lip.
Blaine reaches out his hand, and Kurt takes it. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to."
"No," Kurt states firmly. "I want you to know." And he begins to tell his story, from the beginning.
*^.^*
"And that's why I don't feel comfortable kissing anyone on the lips anymore. Afterwards, I sort of just... shut myself off from everyone. No relationships, no strings. No affection," Kurt ends. "But I do miss it... sometimes."
Blaine pulls Kurt in for a hug. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." Blaine feels Kurt shivering, and when he looks up, Blaine feels a raindrop fall.
Slowly, more rain begins to fall and it becomes really heavy. Kurt weakly attempts to shield his hair with his hands and Blaine grabs him and pulls him towards his apartment building. Blaine opens the door, and they step inside soaking wet. He offers Kurt a towel and turns on the news.
"Looks like there is a flash flood warning. Roads won't be safe until 11 o'clock tomorrow morning," Blaine states.
"Oh, no, It's going to be horrible trying to get home!" Kurt exclaims.
"Kurt, I'm not letting you drive home in this. For your safety and my sanity, at least let me drive you home. I can pick you up in the morning for your car." Blaine says.
"But what about you?" Kurt questions, still shaking from the cold. "I'm not putting you in danger for my sake."
"Then I guess, the only alternative is for you to stay here." And Blaine unknowingly smiles.
"What are we going to do here for fourteen hours?" Kurt cocks his head to the side.
Blaine smirks. "I'm pretty sure we can think of something."
