Blaine sat in the Lima Bean with Sebastian who had his hand in a death grip. They had been together a month and Blaine felt like he was slipping away. The initial feeling was gone but Blaine didn't know what to think.
"You seem really tense, Blaine. Are you ok?" Sebastian said stroking his knuckles lightly.
"You wouldn't get it." Blaine said as if he was in a different universe.
"I'm sure I can try sweetie, you've been so distant recently." Blaine's heart clenched knowing what Sebastian didn't. It was all he could think about. Nothing could distract him from thinking about Kurt. He remembered the feeling in his stomach when Rachel had texted him the day before, he would sit in class and stare at that text. 'Blaine don't die when you read this, but me and Kurt are at Mickinnley and he's looking for you. Oh, and Santana told him about Sebastian...' he didn't reply, he didn't know how. In the distance he heard his name. Then he was jerked back to reality.
"Blaine! Really, honey we're gonna be late." he looked up, Sebastian stood next to him and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
"Oh yeah, let's go." Blaine stood, his mind nowhere near his seriously tall boyfriend. Sebastian locked their fingers and smiled at Blaine as they walked to Sebastian's car through the the snow. They had cover with the truck right next to Sebastian's. Sebastian, smiling wider, held Blaine's face in his cold hands. Blaine, smiling back was not thinking about Kurt, as Sebastian pressed their lips together Blaine's mind shot away from the snowy Lima Bean parking lot and landed in the auditorium and William Mickinnley High School, when he was kissing Kurt. He found himself clenching his fists in Sebastian's coat. Sebastian's cold fingers went through the back of his hair. He was still imagining Kurt in front of him, he knew this was wrong. He was responding to Sebastian the way he would with Kurt, he couldn't stop he grabbed Sebastian's scarf and pulled him closer. They were in public, this was SO wrong he was feeling guilt, among other thing in his stomach. He started to lean on Sebastian's frozen car. Blaine had to stop this, Sebastian was not going to. The world was teeth, tongue, and warm breath. Blaine pulled away bit his lip, he turned and walked to the passenger side. He buckled his seatbelt and looked up to see Sebastian still standing outside in the snow looking like his mind had been wiped clean. Blaine smiled smugly as Sebastian opened the door and sat down. He looked at Blaine, and laughed. They had been together a month and had never had time to do anything close to the make-out session they just had. They drove to Dalton in silence.
Blaine sat in his trigonometry class, bored out of his mind as the teacher went over the review. His phone vibrated in his pocket.
'Blaine, seriously. He really wants to see u'
'what? Who?' he waited anxiously for a reply.
'Kurt! Duh, who else? U may be smart but u can be really dumb'
'Rach, u know I can't do that. I can't deal....'
The reply came quickly.
'with what?! The heartbreak, rather have a broken heart then no heart at all'
'I'm with Sebastian! I can't bare seeing Kurt, I won't be able....' he stopped typing and wiggled his thumbs nervously. He hit send deciding to torture Rachel slowly.
'to hold yourself back? Blaine, don't do this. I know u love him, I know ur meant to be, Blaine ur only hurting urself'
'what do I do rachel? I miss him, I think about him when I'm with Sebastian, like today.......oh god I felt terrible'
'what did u do Blaine! Did u say Kurt's name?'
'No, I just.... Thought about him. It was like I was kissing Kurt again, rachel, I need help'
'WHAT?!?! Where???'
'the Lima Bean parking lot'
'OMG Blaine!'
'OMG Rachel, he's my boyfriend'
'he's staying at the hotel on 2nd street room 245, he would stay at his parents but he was expecting you so....'
'oh god'
'that's what I said :)'
'thanks, now that I know where he is.... We have to make sure Sebastian NEVER finds out EVER'
'BLAINE!!!!! You just made me give half of wet seal a heart attack, are saying...oh sweet Lord, are going to that hotel tonight?!'
'100% don't tell him I want to surprise him'
'OH MY GOD!!!! Blaine, how am I supposed hold this in' he laughed and several students looked over at him. He couldn't hold in how he was feeling. He was so happy, he had felt soulless without him. He was going to see Kurt, he was so happy. He couldn't get it off his face. The bell rang and he walked to the senior commons for warbler practice.
"Hey Blaine, did something good happen?" Sebastian said as Blaine walked in. The senior commons was occupied by all the warblers, he seemed to be the last one.
"What? No, why?" he said as he sat and leaned into Sebastian's chest.
"You were really upset about something this morning, then- oh! That's why your in a good mood." Sebastian said smiling. Blaine remembered the Lima Bean parking lot, that was a good cover up.
"Yeah" Blaine said they both laughed and Sebastian kissed Blaine on the temple. Blaine felt a surprising shot of guilt run through him. Sebastian is never going to know he thought, and he calmed a little. It was a very good warbler practice.
Blaine put his car into park in the snow in front of the hotel. He took a deep breath, and told himself again that Kurt was expecting him. He took out his phone and tapped the messaging icon, then hit 'Rachel Berry'
'Wish me luck Rach' he sat anxiously waiting for her reply.
'God, Blaine. GO TO HIM, STOP TEXTING ME! :)' He started a reply but deleted it and got out of the car and trudged through snow. He eventually found Kurt's room and he just stared at the door, Kurt was in there. Kurt was perfect, he wasn't painfully tall, their voices harmonized like an angelic choir, and Blaine was still in love with him. His stomach clenched painfully, he knocked on the door.
"Who the- at a time like this." Blaine's heart stopped, he hadn't heard that voice in months and it took no time at all for him to fall in love with it again. Then he spoke again sending Blaine into a swoonfest, "seriously it is 9:30 who the hell-" his heart ached so hard he had to lean on the door jam and tears of joy came to his eyes. He heard the clicking of the locks and he straightened up, a huge lump in his throat but he didn't try to hold it back. Kurt opened the door and froze. "B-Blaine?" Kurt's face was shocked and as beautiful as always. Blaine let the sob out of his chest,
"Kurt!" Blaine stepped forward and fell into Kurt's waiting arms. He cried as they swayed in the door way. Blaine squeeze Kurt, who laughed through his tears.
"Blaine, I missed you, so much." Kurt whispered.
"I know Kurt, I missed you too" and Blaine pulled away just enough so that their foreheads touched. Kurt stepped back into the room pulling Blaine with him. Blaine kicked the door so it closed and locked automatically. Kurt pulled away but kept stepping back. He kept his eyes locked with Blaine's gaze. Blaine noticed that it was a very nice hotel room. A bathroom was the first thing in the door and then it opened into a fairly large room with a messy queen size bed on the left with a laptop right in the middle. There was an entertainment system with the TV running across the room, on it was a coffee maker, 4 paperback novels, and a small iPod docking station. In the back right corner was a small counter surrounded by tile, there was a 2-stove top and a small sink and a mini fridge on the ground with a microwave sitting on top. Kurt pulled on Blaine's hands and placed them around his neck. Blaine swallowed, his face was inches from Kurt's.
"Blaine, I love you." Kurt said pulling Blaine closer to him so they were touching. Immediately something vaguely familiar shot down Blaine's spine. He held his breath, trying to hold in the moan in his chest. He let the air out through his nose, he closed his eyes and moved his hips teasingly on Kurt's. Without warning Kurt leaned over and kissed Blaine. At first it was soft and still. Blaine, surprised at first, had his eyes wide open he stared with shock at what was on his lips; Kurt's. Blaine pressed harder, his jaw still and unmoving. He closed his eyes tight, and the hotel room melted away. It was just Kurt and him, Kurt's arms wrapped around Blaine even tighter, Blaine did the same he had a vice like grip on Kurt's neck and head. He let his mouth open a little and Kurt recreated the movement, but with more enthusiasm, Blaine's insides seemed to melt as Kurt's tongue ran across his. Blaine's hips jerked in reaction, and the kiss lost all sweetness and was pure need, Blaine's hand went to fists in Kurt's hair. Then Kurt's hands went to the buttons on Blaine's coat. He broke the kiss, making an angry sound and fumbling with Blaine's coat. Among shaky fingers they both got Blaine's coat off. Blaine pulled at his gloves while Kurt unwrapped his scarf. Kurt pulled his face in and kissed him fiercely, sucking on his bottom lip. Blaine let out a moan and Kurt's hands ran down his front ending at the low button of his Dalton blazer.
"I forgot how hot you looked in this." Blaine smiled at Kurt, who put his hands under the blazer and slipped it off Blaine's shoulders. Blaine touched his nose to Kurt's and intimacy started to flow back into the room.
"I love you too Kurt." Blaine said kissing Kurt lightly, the kiss slowly but surely built to what it was before. Blaine ran his tongue across Kurt's which sent a spasm to his hips which jerked with desperation.
"Blaine..." Kurt whispered. They made eye contact for a second and Kurt tore away. Blaine watched as Kurt took the laptop off the bed, went to the door and put a 'do not disturb' sign out. Blaine sat on the bed, his feet didn't touch the floor so he easily kicked off his shoes. He continued to watch as Kurt closed the 4 layers of curtain, turned off the TV, and started soft slow music on his iPod. It was their song, Candles by Hey Monday. Kurt turned around and stood in between Blaine's leg. He grabbed Blaine's tie and pulled, Kurt's soft lips locked themselves on Blaine's. Blaine took his tie back, still kissing Kurt, and pulled it off while Kurt started on the many buttons of his shirt. Blaine wanted to do the same with Kurt but by now, having stripped him for 5 minutes they were pretty even. Kurt was wearing a thin white v-neck and a pair of skinny jeans. Blaine pulled his button up shirt away and all that was left was a white tank top. Kurt started at that too but Blaine stopped him.
"Nope, it's your turn." Blaine said simply. He put his hands on Kurt's hips and grabbed fistfulls of his shirt, Kurt's arms shot up and Blaine pulled. Blaine caressed Kurt's chest, Kurt gasped at his clammy hands explored his muscular form, Kurt tugged at Blaine's shirt and he ducked away from it. Kurt's icy hands sent chills and goosebumps all over his body, Blaine scooted back so he was laying on his back. Kurt crawled up onto the bed and placed himself between Blaine's legs. Another shock went down his spine as he found that Kurt's jeans didn't hide anything. Kurt started at his jaw kissing it and his heavy breathing was making Blaine sweat. Blaine held onto Kurt's head like a lifeline. His hips jerked up and Kurt's responded with a slam that made Blaine moan loudly. Their hips began to move together- and then Blaine felt his phone buzz in his pocket. Kurt looked at him questioningly. The moment had been ruined, Blaine dug into his pocket where his phone was still buzzing. He looked at his phone and saw 'Sebastian' on his caller ID.
"Shit." Blaine said answering the phone. "Hey Sebastian." Blaine looked up at Kurt who was now standing by his now paused iPod.
"hey honey! where are you?" Sebastian's voice said happily. Blaine shot a terrified look at Kurt. Who looked clueless, when making up where you on the spot don't ask Kurt for help. He told himself.
"Uh, at home. It's almost 10 O'clock"
"Really? I was driving home from the Lima Bean and saw your car at some hotel,"
"Well my car isn't a one of a kind sweetie, I'm in my room watching TV"
"Can I come over, we haven't talked since warbler practice. Plus, your mom wanted to visit, why not now? Ask if I can stop by." Blaine froze, thinking.
"Uh, I don't-"
"Then just give her the phone she wanted to talk to me"
"Oh-" Blaine stood and shoved his shoes back on "no, it should be fine see you soon, bye!" he pressed end and threw his phone on the bed.
"Goddamn Sebastian. Cockblock much?" Blaine said angrily as he threw his clothes back on. "I'm so sorry Kurt, I can't have him know. He's all I have when your gone, it's how I vent....." Blaine looked at Kurt hopefully.
"Yeah, I get it. Go just, go." Kurt said crossing his arms. Blaine stepped forward and pulled Kurt into his chest, Kurt unfolded his arms put them lightly on Blaine's shoulders.
"Kurt I swear, we will have sex before you go back to New York. That's why I came here tonight, because I needed you. Not Sebastian, YOU. I swear Kurt, on my life. Okay? I love you." Blaine said finishing with a smile and kissing Kurt hard on the lips. Without looking back he ran to his car and tried to beat Sebastian to his house.
