Oh my God.

I can't believe what happened today. I really need a moment to recover.

It all started with me falling asleep in my last class. Totally embarrassing, I know. The last thing I remember is the French teacher talking about the conjugation of the verb "venir", and the next thing I know the bell is ringing and there's a hand on my shoulder.

Mark was looking down at me with a worried expression on his face. We have been friends for such a long time, but I hadn't talked to him at all about what happened with my parents, and I felt guilty.

He practically dragged me to his car and started driving.

We drove and drove and drove. Just when I thought that he was maybe trying to kidnap me, we entered the parking lot of a place called "The Lima Bean".

He looked at me and said, "You. Me. Coffee."

We entered the place and I really wanted to ask why we had to drive this far when I saw HIM sitting at a table in the far corner of the room. He was on his own, reading a magazine that looked suspiciously like the latest issue of "Vogue".

Through all this chaos in my life, I had completely forgotten about HIM!

Mark followed my gaze and grinned.

We ordered our coffee and sat down in the opposite corner. I really couldn't take my eyes off the guy. He was totally absorbed in his magazine. Every other minute, he'd scrunch his nose a bit as if he didn't agree with what he saw in there, which was probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen. And in between, he'd take a sip of his coffee and absentmindedly lick his lips. I really had to restrain the urge to run over to his table and just kiss him senseless. And just when I thought it couldn't possibly get any better, he brushed a couple of stray hairs away and looked out of the window for a couple of minutes. That was the first time that I really noticed his eyes. His eyes - oh God, his eyes! I'm pretty sure I have never seen a human being with such beautiful blue eyes. Scratch that. I'm sure he isn't even a human being. He's so, so beautiful that I thought I'd die right on the spot just from looking at him.

Mark started talking to me, but I didn't get a single word of what he was saying. He gave up after a couple of minutes when he realized that I was just nodding and staring. I must have been freakin' obvious.

I just hope and pray that this guy didn't notice me drooling over him.

God, I'm such a creep!

Unfortunately, Blue Eyes (yep, that's how I'm going to call him from now on) had obviously already finished his coffee, because he packed the magazine into his bag, put on his admittedly very fancy jacket and left before I could even think about taking our "relationship" to the next level and introduce myself properly.

Mark just laughed and told me not to worry since the guy came here every day around the same time.

After Blue Eyes had left, I was finally able to have a proper conversation with Mark, and I told him everything.

I kept talking and talking and he just sat there and listened. And it felt so freakin' good.

This is probably what I love about Mark the most. He can really, really listen.

Oh, and just for the record: I'm SO going back to the Lima Bean to stalk Blue Eyes.

God, this guy will be the death of me one day.
