And Blaine he got.
Blaine was there for him even when he was back home. There wasn't a moment in time when he was left alone. The other man was always around, helping him. He called just as much - when he wasn't with Kurt.
Kurt didn’t get annoyed at all. The contrary. He enjoyed that someone was caring for him. He enjoyed the kisses they shared. He enjoyed being around Blaine. He loved the other man. Wait? Love? OMG, I think my brain must be damaged from the accident - but that was weeks ago. What is happening right now?
Of course he didn't tell him that. But he felt even more happier than before. Did Blaine feel the same? Should he ask him? Should he tell him?
He couldn’t, right?
He wasn't sure what was the right thing to do. Kurt just knew that those feelings were what he thought when he thought about Blaine. LOVE.
How can I be in love with him??
He was on his phone - sending a new text to Blaine.
„Hi. How are you doing? I feel lonely and can’t stop thinking about you“. Before he could think better of it he hit the send button.
Blaine smiled when he read the text during class. Of course he had to go back to school at some point. He missed Kurt though. His place was empty ever since the accident - which he didn't want to think about.
He quickly opened the message and replied: „Love. Nice to hear from you. School sucks without you here. Can I come over later?“
Kurt smiled as well when he got the answer back. He quickly replied - cause he didn't have anything better to do anyways.
„Yeah, sure. Feel free to stop at my place. Maybe we could go somewhere?“
„Go somewhere? Are you sure? Feel you be up to it yet?“
Kurt frowned a little. „Yes, I am sure!“ He quickly replied and put his phone away for now.
Blaine opened the next text he got and sighed.
Great, now I pissed him off. My own boyfriend. The love of my life. Wait, what?? He tried hard to compensate those words. I guess I have to make it up to him later on - he thought to himself.
Once school was over he got to his car and made a quick stop at a flower shop.
„Mmhmmm, can I please have a dozen of those red and yellow roses?“ He asked the shop owner.
„Oh dear, of course you can. Let me make them into a nice bouquet. Give me a second, ok?“
„Yes, sure.“
„Who is the lovely woman who can expect those beautiful flowers? Someone special?“
Blaine had to clear his throat at this.
„Mmm, they are actually for my boyfriend!“
„Oh, ok. I see. Sorry for making any assumptions.“ The shop owner said and blushed.
„No worries.“ Blaine said and smiled back at her.
„I might actually tell him, that I love him later on. And those flowers will help me with that!“
„Ohhhh, that is so sweet of you.“ The shop owner thought to herself and said it to Blaine. „So he is someone special then?“
Blaine began dreaming about Kurts features. All the things that make him love him.
„Ah, yes. He … he actually is. Special I mean.“
The shop owner finished the bouquet and gave it to Blaine. „Is this ok?“
„Ohhh, yes. I like them quite a lot. Thank you so much! How much do I owe you?“
„Ohh, nothing at all. I want to make up for my mistake. Go, get your boy!“
„Thank you so much! I will!“
And with that Blaine went back to his car and drove to Kurt’s house. He got there quickly - broke every single sheet rule on his way - and rang the door bell. He wanted to see Kurt so badly, he even forget the flowers on his backseat. He remembered them and run back to his car.
Kurt went slowly to open the door and saw someone running away from the house.
„Blaine? Blaine, where are you going?“
Blaine heard his name being called and grabbed the flowers from the seat.
He quickly went back to Kurt. When he met him on the porch he wound his arms around his boyfriend and kissed him deeply.
„I’m sorry, I forgot the flowers and for ruining your mood earlier! I’m a dumbass. Forgive me?“
„No need to worry. I wasn’t mad at you and of course I forgive you. Can I have my flowers now?“
„Yeah. Yes, you can.“ Blaine gave him the flowers and kissed him once again. „Kurt, I love you!“
Kurt wasn’t sure he heard correctly. But he was smiling from ear to ear when they broke apart.
„You are not a dumbass. I love you, too. And you are my dumbass by the way!“ He answered and kissed Blaine again. „I love you so much!“
The boys stayed like this for a few minutes longer until they went inside and fell on the couch - luckily no one was home yet.
They were wrapped around each other. No tv was ruining their mood. They just saw each other. And kissed the day away.
„Are you ready to go out yet?“ Blaine asked, breaking the kiss.
„I … I still need to get my jacket. Give me a few seconds?“ Kurt answered.
„Take your time Hun.“ Blaine replied and lay back on the couch.
Kurt heard the nickname and blushed a deep shade of red when he climbed the stairs down to his room. He felt still exhausted from the hospital and he wished he could go back to school soon. He missed seeing his boyfriend all the time. But he had to stay home for a few more days.
He grabbed his jacket and quickly made his way back to Blaine. His boyfriend was just getting up from his place on the couch and looked quite adorable with his jacket crumpled on all sides. And his shirt hanging loose on his shoulders.
He wished they could go back to kissing but they had time for this later on.
„Hun, I’m quite not sure, what you did to me?“ Blaine said when he heard Kurt come thru the door.
„I did nothing!“ Kurt said and winked at him.
„Are you sure about that? Cause I think you have an idea about what you did to me?“ Blaine replied.
„You mean like kissing you? Cause I love the feeling of your lips on mine!“ Kurt answered truthfully.
„That feeling is mutual then.“ Blaine replied and went in for another kiss.
Kurt felt safe and went with it. They once again met in the middle of the room and kissed each other deeply.
„I think we should go now, right?“ Blaine said when he pulled away to catch his breath.
„Yeah. Yes, we should.“ Kurt answered and grabbed Blaine’s hand. They made their way to Blaine’s car and got in. Shortly after they arrived at a small diner outside of Lima where they knew no one would be around.
They went it, found a booth for two, ordered their coffee and hold each others hand on the table.
Both boys were simply happy and smiled at each other.
