Chapter Six
When Damien picked up the phone, Blaine had to pull the phone away from his ear, that’s how loud Damien's shout was. “Blaine!”
“What the hell, Damien? You almost blasted my eardrum.” Blaine grumbled into the speaker. “You are such an idiot!”
“Wow, quite hostile today, aren't we?” Damien chuckled. “Anyways, let's get to the matter at hand. You have finally turned him, haven't you?”
“Yes, I have. And I'd like you to come pay us a visit. He needs training and I want you to figure out whether he has any powers or if he can shift. I gotta ask you some questions, too. You have been to Europe, right?” Blaine wondered whether he should have waited to talk about this. It maybe wasn't the best to do this over the phone.
“I have been a few years ago but not since then. Why? What does it matter?”
“We'll talk about that later.” Blaine said quickly and looked up at Kurt, who came back into the living room just then. Blaine smiled at him and was in front of him in the blink of an eye. He reached up to Kurt's chin, where Kurt had apparently missed cleaning a spot. To Damien he said “Where are you right now? When are you gonna be here?”
“If I hurry, I could be there by tomorrow evening, if not a little earlier. I'm on Long Island.”
Blaine frowned. “What are you doing on Long Island? Okay, wait, I don't want to know.” He rolled his eyes at Kurt and took his hand to lead him over to the couch. “We'll expect you tomorrow, then, alright?”
“I'll be there. Say 'hi' to Kurt for me, will you?”
“Hi back.” Kurt said quietly next to Blaine's ear and the phone, knowing that Damien would hear it.
“Can't wait, Kurt.” Damien hung up and Blaine stuffed his phone into his pocket.
He hooked his arm under Kurt's and pulled him along as they walked towards the kitchen. Blaine carefully leaned towards him and pressed his lips tenderly to Kurt's cheek. He did a second time but Kurt turned his head around to catch Blaine's lips with his own and Kurt could feel Blaine smile into the kiss. They stopped walking, Blaine pushing Kurt backwards a bit until he stood against the wall of the hall. Their faces were inches from each other and Blaine watched with a smile as Kurt's eyes turned darker feeling his own do the same.
“I love you, Blaine.”
“I feel like starting a ridiculous argument of 'I love you more'.” Blaine laughed and buried his head in Kurt's neck to breathe in the smell of his mate that still drove him insane after all this time.
Kurt gripped Blaine's hair to pull his head back, to which Blaine reacted with a hiss. Kurt just smiled. “I have a feeling you're not gonna win this argument.”
“And I have a feeling that I know exactly what we're gonna do later.”
“I love it when you talk like that.” Kurt bit his lip and Blaine couldn't tear his eyes away from it. “Come on, let's go check on Graham.” Kurt pushed Blaine away from him and smirked at his new strength. Just a few days ago he would have never been able to just push Blaine away. Suddenly his expression got serious, though. “Thank you, Blaine.”
“For what?”
“For helping me.”
“Who would I be, if I didn’t help you?” Blaine said before taking Kurt's hand and leading him to the kitchen. “Remember, just squeeze and I'll stop you. But do you think you can handle not attacking him?”
Kurt closed his eyes for a second. “I'm not sure, but I think so, yes. I can still... smell him. Right behind the wall.” He breathed in. “And it's driving me mad.”
“You'll be fine. I promise you.”
They found Graham sitting at the breakfast bar eating some cold leftover chicken wings. Blaine remembered leaving them in the fridge the day he had turned Kurt. He shook his head at Graham's choice. “That can't taste good. Cold chicken wings, really?”
“I like them, and besides, I can't cook, so I didn't have a lot of options, did I?” Graham kept eating but he glanced nervously at Kurt who held on to Blaine's hands as if it was a lifeline. “So, you guys are a couple, right?”
“Got a problem with that?” Blaine asked and he sat down across from Graham, motioning for Kurt to sit down, too, but never letting go of his hand.
Graham swallowed a bite of chicken and shook his head at Blaine's question. “Not at all. My best friend is gay. For me that really makes no difference.” He paused and looked away. Blaine cleared his throat and he could see Kurt flinching at his side.
“You are surprisingly okay with all of this, seeing as you just got kidnapped by vampires.”
Graham looked up at him and then at Kurt. “I'm not exactly sure how to react to this. I have the feeling that I am going to wake up any second now and find out that this was only a dream but somehow this chicken tastes a bit too real to be my imagination.” He looked up to meet Kurt's eyes. “How should I react to being kidnapped and bitten but at the same time being treated like a guest?”
“I am sorry.” Kurt's voice was quiet. “I don't mean to hurt you but I just can't... I can't stop myself.” His voice broke at the end of the sentence.
Graham's expression was unreadable. “I guess I don't blame you for that. This is just all really weird for me. I can't wrap my head around any of this. A few hours ago, I didn't even believe in vampires or anything remotely supernatural and now... you.” He waved his hand at Blaine and Kurt in a motion to sum up their whole existence.
“I'm sorry for turning your life upside down.” Blaine said in all honesty but Graham gave him a loop-sided grin.
“It's fine. Who would want to live their lives totally oblivious to what's happening around them? I'd rather know about vampires living amongst humans.” He put down his fork. “Even though this is kinda scary, I'd rather know.”
All three of them were silent for a few minutes, avoiding any eye-contact, until Blaine let go of Kurt's hand and stood up. Kurt got up in a blur and stood behind Blaine, holding his breath and trying to think of anything other than blood. He was so scared that he would hurt Graham.
“Kurt, it's okay. I'm here. Right here.” Blaine said and rubbed Kurt's arm soothingly. “Don't worry.” He looked up at Graham whose expression was somewhere between surprised, shocked, and amazed, and then took Kurt's hand again just for good measure. “Would you be okay with starting the training right now?” He asked Graham.
“Right now?!” Graham's voice went up an octave.
“Better now, when he's not as hungry, than later, when he won't be able to think about anything but ripping your throat out.” Blaine gave him a sarcastic grin.
Graham had to gulp to suppress his urge to say 'no' but then he nodded. “Okay, fine. As long as you guarantee me that Kurt won't hurt me.”
“He'll certainly try.” Blaine answered. “But I promise, I'll stop him, okay?”
“Alright.” Graham got up. “I'll do whatever you want me to.”
“Excellent. Let's get to work, then.”

Blaine had to take a flashlight and some matches down to the basement. For Graham, everything down there was pitch black and Blaine could feel his unease about going down there. He let Kurt go first and then Graham before he pushed the bookshelf back into its place and followed them downstairs. He had given the flashlight to Graham who started to shake visibly when they were engulfed by total darkness.
When they reached the end of the tunnel and stepped into the training room, Blaine quickly lit up all the torches around the room. Kurt followed him, not wanting to stand close to Graham.
“How exactly are you planning on doing this?” Kurt whispered.
“Trust me. I know what I'm doing.” Blaine said as he lit another torch.
“I'm sure you do. I just don't know how I feel about your methods.”
Blaine sighed quietly. “Kurt, training you will take time. I was trained, too, by Damien mostly, but he didn't care about people dying in the process. I do. I won't let you hurt Graham.” Blaine turned to look into Kurt's eyes. “I promised him that.”
Kurt swallowed and nodded, feeling the burn in his throat when he caught Graham's scent from across the room. “I know, Blaine. But what are you going to do?”
“Just wait and see. It's nothing morbid, believe me.”
Kurt rolled his eyes. “Right. Not morbid at all.”
Blaine ignored him and was at Graham's side a fraction of a second later. He flinched and dropped the flashlight. “Okay, Graham, you'll just stand in the middle of the room, alright?” He laid his hands on Graham's shoulders and pushed him forward until he was standing in the middle of the boxing ring, caged by the ropes that formed a square around him. “Okay, guys, here's how this is gonna work. You don't have to move at all, Graham. Stay in the boxing ring and you'll be fine.” Graham nodded. “Kurt, please stand at the wall over there.”
Kurt did as he was told and turned to look at Blaine again when he stood at the wall. “And now?”
Blaine jumped out of the ring and stood in front of it. “I'm gonna be Graham's protector in a way. You, Kurt, are going to try to get past me. For now, we are going to do this a little slower, so I can show you how to dodge punches and how to best use your strength.”
Kurt's nod was hesitant but he tried to look determined. He didn't want Blaine to think that he couldn't do this.
“Everything understood?” Blaine asked. “Then let's go. Come at me and try to get past me. Normal speed.”
Kurt let out his breath before taking a run at Blaine, still quite slow, before suddenly going left to run around him towards Graham whose eyes were following him. But Kurt couldn't even get close to him because Blaine had stepped in his way, slightly crouched down with his hands held up to stop him. Kurt quickly stepped to the right to make his way around Blaine but Blaine took a swing at him with his left hand, too fast for Kurt to get out of the way and it hit him at his side. He stumbled backwards.
“Hey! You actually hit me!”
“Of course, I did. That's what this is about. The question is, why did you let that stop you?” Blaine tilted his head. “You could have hit me back. You are supposed to fight me.” He motioned for Kurt to come closer. “Okay, and now just hit me.”
Kurt scoffed but Blaine seemed to be dead serious. “You're kidding, right?”
“I'm not. Hit me!”
“No, Blaine.”
“Hit me. Now. Or I'm going to provoke you.”
Kurt gasped. What was Blaine thinking? How was this supposed to help? He hesitated. Was he really going to do this? Eventually he swallowed and lifted his fist. He threw a punch at Blaine's shoulder. He knew he could have hit him harder but he really didn't want to.
Blaine caught his hand in his own as Kurt pulled his arm back. “I'm going to ignore that you didn't really hit me and focus on the rest instead. First, if possible, avoid hitting with your fist and if you do it anyways, don't put your thumb into your fist. You could break it.” Blaine gently removed Kurt's thumb from the inside of his fist. “Better than the fist is this.” He uncurled Kurt's fingers until they were straight. “Always think of karate chopping something. With our strength and speed, this hurts way worse than you could imagine. Now try again. For real this time.”
Kurt nodded, kept his hand the way Blaine had showed him, and tried to hit Blaine's arm again, this time as hard as he could. Blaine let him hit him, didn't even flinch.
“Better.” He said. “Another thing, though, you don't have to put your body weight behind a punch. All your strength, well almost all of it, is supernatural. That means it's not coming from muscle or weight. You just need to hit with speed to actually do some damage. Most vampires make the mistake of throwing themselves into the punch, which slows them down. Speed is your best advantage. You're newborn, so if you get into a fight with anyone at this point, you'll probably lose, if you only rely on your strength. What you need is speed, strategy and a good aim. For example, hitting my arm wouldn't have helped you in any way because you're not strong enough to break it with a single hit. For you, it's easier to aim for the throat, the stomach or, if you can, the spine. The throat will hurt the most and it will make it harder to breathe because even though vampires don't have to breathe, most still do.”
He stood behind Kurt and laid his arm around Kurt's throat. “If you're in this position, always use your elbows and feet to get out as fast as possible. Don't start clawing at the arm because whoever has got you by the neck only needs to pull a bit to rip your head off. So, this is the worst position you could get into. It only gets worse, if you lie on your stomach and they have got you by the head”
He let go of Kurt and moved to switch their positions. “Now, if you are behind someone, I found it to be quite effective to get them to double over. A blow to the stomach and then an elbow to the spine. Preferably to the lower back. You could also try the back of the head but if you don't have a weapon of sorts, it won't be that effective.”
Kurt nodded again. “Okay, I understand but Blaine, I don't think I can just—I just don't think I would win against anyone. Look at yourself. I wouldn't stand a chance against you because you know so much about all of this and you could do all of this in your sleep.”
“I'm not expecting you to be perfect the first time. You will learn and you will learn fast. All of this will get easier with time. Please don't doubt yourself.”
Kurt sighed. “Am I even gonna remember half of this during a fight?”
“Yes, you will. Your brain works faster in dangerous situations. It will figure out what to do before you even know it:” Blaine took a step back. “For example...”
Suddenly Blaine surged forward and in the blink of an eye he had moved around Kurt, tightening his arm around Kurt's neck as he turned. Kurt's muscles instantly tensed and without even having to think about it, Kurt's elbow shot backwards and dug itself deep into Blaine's stomach. Blaine let out an “ooff” and let go.
Kurt turned and took a swing at the side of Blaine's neck, his hand flat, aiming for a spot close to Blaine's jugular with the side of his hand. But Blaine was faster, ducked under Kurt's arm before somehow grabbing it and turning it into a painful position, causing Kurt to yelp and fall down. Only a second later, Kurt was on his stomach, Blaine' knee in his back and Blaine's hands wrapped around his head. Kurt's breath was coming in slowly, his cheek touching the cold stone floor.
“That wasn't even that bad for the first time. You perfectly did everything the way I told you.” Blaine said and let go of him. He helped Kurt back up and brushed off his shirt. “And,” he said, “I'm surprised you didn't lose it.”
Kurt rolled his eyes. “Me too, believe me.”
Blaine chuckled. “Alright, get ready for round two. This time, I won't hold back, so do your best to get past me. Try to hurt me, it's okay. You want Graham. I'm in your way. What are you going to do about it?”
Kurt growled low in his throat and somehow he wanted to. What kind of thought was that? Wanting to growl to intimidate Blaine felt so weird but so natural at the same time. Maybe, just maybe, I will adapt to all of this. This is who I am now. And I don't regret it.
Blaine's growl was even deeper and when they crashed into each other, they both tumbled to the floor and tried to pin each other to the ground. Kurt noticed quickly that he didn't stand a chance against Blaine. He couldn't win. At least not, if Blaine didn't want to let him win. He could see Blaine's smile from time to time and Kurt wanted to roll his eyes because why would Blaine be enjoying this this much?
Suddenly Blaine stopped fighting and Kurt pinned him underneath him with both arms on Blaine's chest. Blaine smirked before he shoved his foot into Kurt's stomach and sent Kurt flying halfway across the room where he landed hard on his back and didn't get up again. He just groaned and lifted his head to look at Blaine.
“I expected it to hurt more.” He pushed himself up on his elbows. “This is ridiculous. I'm no match for you, Blaine. I bet you didn't even have to try. Not to mention you could have just used telekinesis or you could have shifted.”
“But where would have been the fun in that? And I promise that it wasn't easy for me.” Blaine got up and turned to look at Graham who was now sitting in the middle of the ring, still watching them with curious eyes. “I think, this was enough for today. We'll wait for Damien. He might be able to teach you more than I can. And Graham, you look like you could use some sleep.”
Graham nodded. “That would be nice, yes... May I ask what you needed me for down here?”
“I thought—and now don't freak out—I thought, I would have to make you bleed, so Kurt would actually try to get to you. But I figured then he would have lost it and that would have been very counterproductive.” Blaine bit his lip a little before he suddenly stood at Graham's side. “Come on, let's get you upstairs. If you trust me enough, I could carry you and you'd be there in no time, but I understand, if you don't want me to.”
Graham looked at him cautiously and glanced at Kurt before clearing his throat. “You know what? Why not? Carry me. I just really need to sleep.” He trained his eyes on the floor when Blaine took a step closer. “God, weirdest day of my entire life.” He muttered. “And the weirdest deal slash friendship I’ve ever had with anyone.”
Blaine raised his eyebrows but didn't say anything. Instead he simply lifted Graham up, jumped over the ropes of the boxing ring, and with a single thought every single torch was extinguished. “Just follow me, Kurt. I know where I'm going. And Graham, close your eyes and do not open them until I tell you to.”
They made their way upstairs, which only took them about fifteen seconds. Blaine told Kurt to wait in the living room while he brought Graham up to one of the bedrooms. When he returned downstairs, he stood in the door for a couple seconds, just admiring Kurt sitting there on the couch. So perfect, so beautiful, and all his.
“Have I told you recently how glad I am that you are here with me?”
Kurt blushed faintly. “You don't have to tell me that. I know the feeling, believe me.”
Blaine walked over to the couch and Kurt pulled him down next to him before leaning closer and pressing his lips against Blaine's. Blaine ran his fingers through Kurt's hair and held on to it as Kurt gently bit hit Blaine's bottom lip, which made Blaine groan.
“Oh god, Kurt...” Blaine broke the kiss and leaned his head to the side.
“...What?” Kurt looked into Blaine's dark, lust-filled eyes. He wanted Blaine so bad but he wasn't so sure about having sex right now. And he didn't know whether Blaine wanted anything like that.
He didn't put any more thought into it, just leaned down and adrenaline shot through his body when his teeth grew into fangs. He didn't think and he couldn't stop himself. He opened his mouth and his teeth touched Blaine's skin before he pressed them deeper into the skin until it broke.
Blaine flinched backwards and Kurt, who still had his teeth buried into Blaine's skin, ripped a peace of flesh out of Blaine's neck. “Ouch! Kurt, what are you doing?” He held his hand to his neck to cover the wound until it healed.
Kurt hurried to back away from Blaine. He didn't mean to do that and he had no idea what had driven him to do it. “I'm sorry, oh god, Blaine. I am so sorry.”
Blaine looked up at him. Blaine's eyes were dark but he didn't seem angry. “You don't have to be sorry, Kurt. It's just—it's the worst feeling to be bitten for a vampire. It feels so humiliating.” He rubbed his neck that was now healed but there was still blood there. “I don't blame you. I guess, instinct tells you to bite but I didn't think it would be appealing to you to bite me.”
“I don't know why I did it, though.” Kurt whispered. “I just—it felt right.”
“It's okay, Kurt, don't worry. I'm fine. Just... maybe don't do that again.”
Kurt nodded. “I won't.”
“Now kiss me.” Blaine smiled and pulled Kurt closer again.
They both lost themselves in the kiss, forgetting about everything else, just savoring the moment of intimacy. Somewhere in the heat of the moment Blaine pulled his shirt off and Kurt's hands found their way towards the marking on Blaine's chest. Both of them shivered at the touch of Kurt's skin to Blaine's mate mark. It felt like there was no way of being closer to each other any more than this.
A growl escaped Kurt when Blaine kissed him harder. Blaine's hands where on Kurt's hips and the force with which Blaine held on to him should have hurt Kurt but it didn't. It all felt so different to Kurt. It was a whole new experience to touch Blaine now with his heightened senses.
For Blaine it felt different in a way, too. He didn't have to hold back anymore. He didn't have to be scared to hurt Kurt anymore because now Kurt could handle his strength. And it felt amazing. He wanted to take things further but he wasn't sure whether Kurt was ready for that. It would be amazing, though, so Blaine didn't mind waiting until Kurt was ready. He wouldn't push. This was enough for now.
“I love you so much.”
Kurt threw his head back when Blaine's mouth found his neck and continued to kiss him down to his collarbone. “I love you, too.”
In the end they ended up on the couch, limbs tangled, Kurt's head resting on Blaine's chest. Kurt was on the edge of falling asleep but something was keeping him from it. “Blaine?”
“What is it?”
“I can hear him. I can hear his heartbeat. And I hear him breathing.” Kurt whispered. “I want it. It burns in my throat and I—“
“Fight it, Kurt.” Blaine murmured into Kurt's ear. “You can do it. I know you can. You don't want to hurt Graham, do you?” He felt Kurt shaking his head. “And that's what will get you through this. You can drink tomorrow. For now, fight it. You're strong enough.”
“Don't let go of me.”
“I won't. Try to sleep, Kurt.”
________________________________________________________________________________
Blaine and Kurt slept in the next day without intending to do so. Graham carefully made his way downstairs in the morning, feeling uncomfortable walking around in that huge house without knowing where the two vampires were, and found them on the couch, still sound asleep. For a few moments he wondered what was stopping him from leaving and then shook his head and went to the kitchen in the search for food.
He knew why he wasn't leaving. He had promised Blaine, for one thing, but somehow he didn't want to leave anyway. It wasn't like he had a lot waiting for him at home. His parents wouldn't care if he didn't return. The only one who would care was his friend Noel. And living here wasn't that bad. He was helping Kurt by staying here and he had food, a bed and...friends?
He made himself breakfast, glancing at the clock to realize that it was more like a late brunch, and returned to the living room. He quietly sat down on the couch opposite to the one the two boys were sleeping on and ate his cereal as quietly as possible. He didn't know how they would react to him watching them sleep. He was just hoping that they didn't care. They seemed to be pretty normal guys, if you ignored the fangs and the blood lust, and Graham found himself thinking that he would like to get to know them better. Another question was bugging him ever since Blaine had told him that he would let Graham go: What were they going to do when this weird living arrangement wasn't necessary anymore?
Graham decided that he would ask, but he didn't want to seem nosy. Sure, people like them had lots of secrets, but they had already opened up to him with their biggest one, so why wouldn't they tell him the truth?
He was long done with his bowl of cereal when Blaine woke up. He didn't notice Graham sitting there right away but when he took his first breath in through the nose, his head snapped around immediately.
“Graham, you're... awake.” He mumbled, still a bit sleepy, and he actually yawned. “God, I haven't slept in so long.”
“Morning.” Graham said tentatively.
Kurt started stirring, when Blaine moved and he woke way more suddenly than Blaine did. From one second to the other Kurt was up on his feet, glaring at Graham with bared teeth, which thankfully hadn't changed into fangs. Graham pressed himself into the cushions of the couch.
Blaine laid a hand on Kurt's shoulder. “Kurt, hey, it's okay. No one's trying to hurt you.”
Kurt relaxed instantly, blinked a couple times and then looked at Graham again. “Sorry, didn't mean to...” Graham could see Kurt breathe in and Kurt immediately crouched down with a growl. His eyes became even darker than they already were and this time when Kurt bared his teeth they were long and pointed.
Blaine was in between Kurt and Graham in the blink of an eye, holding Kurt by his arms. “Kurt, calm down. Look at me, Kurt. Calm down!” But Kurt didn't listen. He was too hungry to think about anything else at the moment. Blaine cursed himself for waiting so long.
“Graham, he needs to feed. I know this is asking a lot of you but it's the only option right now.” Blaine said quietly over Kurt's growls. He didn't look at Graham but he heard his heartbeat speed up and he could smell the fear and uncertainty roll off of Graham's body.
“Alright. Let him feed. But only if you promise to make him stop when I ask for it.” Graham said, his voice hoarse.
Blaine turned to look at him without letting go of Kurt who was now fighting against Blaine's hold on his arms. Blaine's eyes met Graham's. “Are you ready?” Graham nodded, barely visible. Blaine leaned to Kurt's ear. “Be gentle, okay?” And then he let go of Kurt.
Graham didn't see Kurt coming. He just felt the sharp pain on the left side of his neck when Kurt's fangs buried themselves into his skin. He yelped but then reminded himself that he shouldn't scream. A tear leaked from his eye as he kept staring at Blaine, always maintaining eye-contact, so he could tell him when to stop Kurt. He felt dizzy, maybe because of the blood loss, maybe just because of the pain but he fought to keep his body upright.
His sense of time was gone. It could have been hours that Kurt had been drinking from him, he couldn't tell. He wanted this to stop but he also wanted to help Kurt. In the end he gave up and found Blaine's eyes.
Stop, he mouthed and Blaine nodded before gently pulling Kurt off of him.
Graham's head was spinning and even if he had wanted to he couldn't have stopped himself from falling over. He landed on the soft pillows of the couch and groaned softly. For whatever reason, his only thought was that he shouldn't get blood on the couch.
“Kurt, look at me.” Blaine said. “How are you feeling?”
“Fine. I'm fine. Just—I hurt him again. I didn't even want to. I tried to fight it but I really can't--”
“Kurt, none of this is your fault, remember? Now, you should heal his neck. Just give him some of your blood and he'll be fine in fifteen minutes.” Blaine gently cupped Kurt's cheek and wiped a drop of blood from Kurt's bottom lip.
Kurt turned to look at Graham and quickly brought his own wrist to his mouth to bite down like he had seen Blaine do all those times. He winced slightly. It did hurt, there was no denying that, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it would have been for a human.
He held his wrist to Graham's mouth. “Graham, you need to drink some of this, please. Come on, just a little bit.” Graham had pretty much passed out but he managed to close his lips around the bite and he swallowed Kurt's blood until he choked and started coughing.
Blaine pulled Kurt backwards. “He's gonna be okay. You can go wash your face and I'll look out for him. Oh, and you could make some coffee, maybe. That'd be nice.” Kurt just nodded and with one last glance to Graham he left the living room.
Blaine fell down next to Graham's head on the couch before gently lifting it and putting a pillow underneath. He sighed, looking down at the boy. He was so young and he could do so much more with his life than this, but Blaine couldn't change what had been done, so now Graham was stuck here. He couldn't help feeling bad for him, but somehow the boy was so nice about all of this. So understanding. Somehow this boy was different from most people he had met so far. And that was saying something because Blaine had met so many people.
Blaine took a deep breath through his nose when he smelled the coffee that was running through the coffee machine in the kitchen. Had he not done that he wouldn't have noticed the familiar scent that suddenly appeared not far from him.
His head shot around to the window that was open, letting in the warm sun, and he smiled at the man standing there leaning against the window frame.
“It's good to see you back, Damien.” Blaine said.
“Oh, yes, it's good to be back. Did you miss me?”
