Author's Notes: Hello tharrrrr supermegafoxyawesomehot readers. The first song I got was Mr. Brightside by The Killers. Eeeeeehr anyway, enjoy.
I’m coming out of my cage
And I’ve been doing just fine
Gotta gotta gotta be down
Because I want it all

It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this?
It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss

Now I’m falling asleep
And she’s calling a cab
While he’s having a smoke
And she’s taking a drag

Now they’re going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it’s all in my head
But she’s touching his—chest
Now, he takes off her dress
Now, let me go

I just can’t look its killing me
And taking control

Jealousy, turning saints into the sea
Swimming through sick lullabies
Choking on your alibis
But it’s just the price I pay
Destiny is calling me
Open up my eager eyes
‘Cause I’m Mr. Brightside

Blaine watched as the blonde guy in his early twenties laughed at something Kurt had said. Stupid blonde guy, standing there, bragging about his height and flirting with Kurt.
He held onto the bag over his lap even tighter unconsciously, his knuckles turning paler every second. The guy put a hand over Kurt’s arm, as they continued talking. Who did he think he was? Flirting shamelessly with his boyfriend in the middle of a coffee shop!
Blaine felt a burning sensation settling on his stomach, and a knot forming on his throat. He wanted nothing more than to punch the guy on the face. But it wasn’t such a good idea, because a) Kurt would get mad, b) The guy seemed a lot stronger than him, and c) He was so short he probably wouldn’t reach the guy’s face anyway.

And then, another thought assaulted Blaine’s mind: why wasn’t Kurt pulling away? He didn’t even look uncomfortable at all…

Maybe he just didn’t want to seem rude. Yes. That had to be it.

But on the other hand, the guy wasn’t bad looking at all… And he was tall. What if Kurt was seduced by his blonde, long, ungelled hair and his tallness?

No. Kurt wouldn’t do that to him.

But he couldn’t compete with this guy’s looks, could he? What if Kurt decided that he wanted something better and agreed to go out on a date with him?

But Blaine could sing, and he was fairly sure that Kurt loved his voice. He had advantage over Blonde Guy. He could serenade Kurt with cheesy love songs.

But…What if Blonde Guy could sing too?
He was so screwed.

Now Kurt would dump him for Blonde Guy, who was hotter and taller and probably had an awesome voice. Great.

Blaine could practically picture them moving to New York, and getting married, and buying a house, and having children and getting a puppy and...

No, he was probably just being paranoid. But still, he didn't like this guy flirting with his boyfriend. So when he saw Blonde Guy reaching out to touch Kurt's arm again, he got up and walked towards them. Even though he wanted nothing more than to shout to the guy that Kurt was taken, he managed to pull a smile so wide that made his face hurt a little.
He slid his arm around Kurt's waist, and crashed their lips together, kissing him deeply, pretending he hadn’t even noticed Blonde Guy standing there, leaving Kurt overwhelmed and confused in the process.

He turned to see Blonde guy, who for some reason didn't look bothered at all, and was...smiling?

“Huh..Drew,” Kurt spoke up, slightly confused. “This is my boyfriend, Blaine.”

Drew shook Blaine’s hand with a few polite words that Blaine didn't bother to actually hear, still smiling, as Blaine attempted to give him a threatening look, his right arm not leaving Kurt’s side.

"Anyway, I gotta go. Say hello to your dad from me!" Blonde guy said cheerfully, way too cheerfully, and with a wave of his hand walked away.

'Say hello to your dad from me'?
Blaine was even more confused than before.

Kurt looked at him with a questioning look that he ignored.
"Who was that?" He asked, frowning a little.
"Drew. He used to work on my dad's tire shop, until about two years ago when he left for college." He shrugged. "...Blaine, are you okay?" He asked, eyeing him carefully.
Blaine blinked a few times. "Yeah, never been better."

End Notes: Soooooooooooooooooo, there you go. Silly chapter is silly.I thought mostly about the "And it's all in my head" line. Aaaaanyway, I hope you liked it. I'm already writing the next one.
