Chapter 8
Kurt decided to skip gym class. He didn’t think he’d be able to handle seeing Blaine at the moment. His heart was in a mess. He was in love with a boy who wanted nothing to do with him. Not like it was any different than all of his other crushes but this time Blaine had actually reciprocated part of his affection It was like being given a jawbreaker just to have it taken away right before you got to the candy center. Blaine had given him a taste then left him hanging and Kurt wanted more.
He had waited a few minutes till he was sure that Blaine had left the locker room, before leaving the washroom stall and heading back to the locker with his clothes, where he changed quickly before heading out into the hallway. It wasn’t until he had been walking for several minutes that he realized that he had no idea where he was anymore. He definitely did not remember the building being so big.
He kept walking through the hallway, that he found himself in, aligned with lockers and scattered classrooms hoping to find someone that could tell him how to get back to the locker room, till he walked past a open room where music was playing. Stepping back he managed to discreetly watch the performance of a girl singing Don’t Rain On My Parade. It was beautiful and soon the song was over and everyone one in the room stood up from their seats, cheering and clapping. It took Kurt a while before he realized that he was clapping as well.
“Hi, can I help you?” A man in about his mid thirties stood up from where he had been sitting watching the performance, and walked over to Kurt.
“Um, no sorry I was just wondering if you could tell me how I can get back to the locker-room.” Kurt blushed feeling the eyes of all the students in the room on him.
“Of course. My name is Mr. Schuester, and you would be?”
“Kurt. Kurt Hummel.” Kurt smiled shaking the outstretched hand in front of him.
“Well if you ever get lost again stop by the choir room and we’d love to have you as part of our glee club.” The teacher smiled warmly his eyes glinting with hope before giving him quick directions and bidding goodbye.
It took Kurt a few minutes to get back to the locker room where he was able to find his locker from there. He still had 20 minutes before he had to be at his next class so he grabbed his books and headed over to the library where he begun working on his social studies project.
ooooooooooooooooooo
Blaine pulled into his driveway after school, just in time to see his father walk out of the house on the phone. He slowed his car and turned the headlights off having a good idea of whom he was talking to. Thankfully his father hadn’t seen him, too caught up in what the person on the other end of the line had just said, which seemed pretty funny deeming from the way he was bent over laughing. Blaine slowly parked his car a few feet away from the front door and quietly got out before walking towards his father who had now begun walking away from him and around the house into the backyard.
“Ya so ill meet you there at 10 baby.” Blaine’s father hung up and turned around to head back inside.
As he begun walking back he came face to face with Blaine, who had managed to file his way back to the front of the house after hearing part of his father’s conversation on the phone.
“Oh Blaine! Son, you startled me.” Blaine’s father jumped and Blaine immediately noticed his sweating and blushing.
“Sorry about that dad. Just got back from school. Who were you talking to?” Blaine asked raising his eyebrow mockingly.
“Just a co-worker. I have an upcoming project at the office that we need to work on so I’m going to go over there later tonight.” His father had managed to regain his calm and smiled at his glaring son before walking past him.
“You coming? Your mother is making supper tonight and I’m sure you have homework to do.”
Blaine took deep breaths praying that he wouldn’t crack and tell his mother. He would let his father do that himself. He turned around and walked up to his father who was holding the door open for him, and gave him one last glare before walking in.
ooooooooooooooo
It wasn’t before 11 o’clock that Blaine shut his schoolbooks and got ready for bed. He got under the covers as his cellphone rang and sighing, pulled himself out of bed and went to grab it from where it was sitting on his desk across the room.
The text was from Santana: Hey babe. I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever. How bout I come over after school tomorrow? xx
Blaine shut his eyes and remembered the last time Santana had come over. It had ended in a hardcore sex session that lasted an hour. That same voice came back into his head and before he knew it he was texting back a reply and clicking send. It was time to go back to being straight. He hated being confused and Santana was the answer to his issue.
As he set his phone onto his nightstand and shut off the lights he lied back determined to fuck Santana and to re-become who he had been before Kurt. He fell asleep though with one last thought lingering in his head; What if it didn’t work?
