Kurt pulled Blaine away from the Accords Hall and lead him out of the city. They stopped once they'd reached an empty field, almost at the Hummel Manor, but Blaine was far too hysterical to take any further. He released his arm and stopped walking and studied him. Outside the Hall, Blaine has sobbed his way through an account of what had happened inside and Kurt felt terrible He didn't know what to do. He wanted more than anything to go to him and wrap him up in his arms and tell him it would be okay, but he couldn't do that. For one, he and Blaine were just friends and he felt as if that would be overstepping a little bit. Secondly, he couldn't tell him it would be okay, because chances were that it would most definitely not be okay, in fact, quite the opposite.
"He's wrong, you know," Kurt told Blaine, softly. Blaine raised his gleaming eyes to Kurt's and sniffled a little bit. "You're an amazing Shadowhunter, Blaine."
"No, I'm not. I can't do anything. He said I can't do anything."
Kurt shook his head, adamantly. He wasn't lying. He'd seen Blaine fight, he'd seen him take out those Raums, the Ravener, the Cresil. Blaine was by no means a weak Shadowhunter. He was strong and brave and trustworthy and Kurt needed him to know that.
"Yeah, well, he's wrong," Kurt apprised him. "He has no idea. You're strong and smart and you have the world at your feet—"
"I can't do anything, Kurt," Blaine semi-shouted, his bright eyes wider than ever before. He looked as if he was about to fall to the ground.
"Yes, you can," Kurt told him. "You can do whatever you want to do. You're an adult, Blaine. Any choices made regarding your life can be made only by you."
Blaine's face darkened and Kurt could see the distress in his eyes and in the way he held his body. He looked as if he might snap.
"I can't make my own decisions. I can't do anything that I want to do!" he said, a little breathlessly.
"You can," Kurt urged. "You can do whatever you like. You're your own person and if you want to do something, you should just go ahead and do it."
Blaine stared at him then, his face loosening a bit. He was breathing hard and fast, his face glittering from the salty tears he'd cried, his golden eyes dark and almost a jade green from crying.
"You're telling me I can do whatever I want?" Blaine whispered, taking a small step forward. "Anything?"
Kurt nodded.
"Well, within reason, yes."
"Anything?" Blaine repeated, sounding slightly dazed, his gorgeous eyes never leaving Kurt's face. "Anything at all?"
Kurt nodded, again.
"Okay," Blaine said, so quietly that Kurt wasn't sure he had even said it, until he had moved forward and pressed Kurt's arms to his sides, before parting his lips and pushing them down over Kurt's.
Kurt gasped the second Blaine's lips touched his. A million thoughts danced in his mind, wondering if Blaine was still suffering from the after effects of the potion, or if he was overcome with sadness, or if he simply wanted to do it, because he had meant everything he had said the night before. Kurt thought about all of that for a couple of seconds, then forget everything, as Blaine's hand released his arms and snaked around to cup his back. Kurt raised his arms around Blaine's shoulders and allowed his fingers to pull his curls free from the ridiculous hair gel. Blaine was making small humming sounds against Kurt's mouth, his tongue now moving with Kurt's.
Kurt felt himself falling back against the grass, Blaine's body crushed to his, his hand clutching Kurt's shoulders, gently. Kurt felt Blaine moving, until he was kneeling between his legs, his mouth still against his, kissing him hungrily, like he could never get enough. Blaine still tasted like sugar and Kurt never wanted him to pull away. He liked the taste of him, liked the feeling of his smooth lips against his own, liked the way his body seemed to fit so perfectly with his.
Blaine hands were on Kurt's hips now, stroking the pale skin where his shirt had slid up when they'd fallen to the ground. Kurt's entire body was tingling and screaming and wanting so badly for Blaine to touch him. It was too close for comfort and Kurt didn't ant Blaine to spring away from him when he felt how badly he wanted him, so he pulled away, not wanting to, but feeling as if he needed to.
Blaine didn't move. He stayed in the exact same position and breathed as his eyes studied Kurt's face. Kurt couldn't help but stare back. Blaine was so gorgeous. He was so, so gorgeous and he had no idea why someone like Blaine would want to kiss someone like him.
"You said I could do anything I wanted," Blaine said, finally, as he leaned up, voice a little horse. "I've wanted to do that since day one."
Kurt couldn't muster any words, so instead, he just smiled and he was rewarded with Blaine smiling back, the smile evident in his bright, hazel eyes.
"It's okay?" Blaine asked.
"More than okay."
"Really?" Blaine asked, "You want me, too?"
"I want you, too," Kurt said, realising it was true. He took a handful of Blaine's shirt and pulled him down on top of him again and caught his mouth with his.
They kissed for a long time, getting used to the other's body, their hands travelling along curves and over swells and under clothes. A while later, Blaine got to his feet and offered Kurt a hand. Kurt took it this time, without hesitation. They walked back to the Hummel Manor, hand in hand, smiling all the way there.
"Last night," Kurt said, pulling his mouth off of Blaine's and leaning back a little. "Last night when you were under that spell. You told me."
"I told you?" Blaine asked, hands on Kurt's hips. "I told you what?"
Blaine was flat on his back on Kurt's old bed, Kurt kneeling on either side of his left thigh. They had been there for a good hour now, not going any further than kissing and innocent enough touching. It was enough, though, to just have one another there, to be able to lean across and kiss each other without a worry or a care.
"You told me that you wanted to kiss me," Kurt said. "And then you kissed me."
Blaine's eyes widened round as saucers.
"I kissed you?" he asked. "I kissed you last night?"
Kurt nodded, smiling a little.
"Oh, wow," Blaine chuckled. "And you didn't tell me?"
"I thought it might have been a mistake, that you were drunk on that potion thing," he shrugged his slender shoulders. His hair was messed up from Blaine's fingers running through it moments before and he looked beyond adorable kneeling there. "You told me that you wanted to—to do things to me and I didn't believe you."
Blaine grinned then. Had Kurt told him this a few hours earlier, he would have been mortified, but now, lying here with Kurt's body pressed to his and having had his hands on almost every inch of his body (above the clothes mostly, but it still counted), he wasn't horrified in the least.
"What'd I say I wanted to do to you?"
Kurt was blushing, now. Blaine liked making him blush, liked how his pale skin flushed a crimson colour so quickly, liked how his blue eyes widened and sparkled when he got nervous or uncomfortable, liked how he inhaled so hard that it caused his chest to appear incredibly defined against the thin material of his dark shirt.
"You didn't specify, but—um, you told me I shouldn't wear tight jeans any more."
Blaine raised his eyebrows in amusement and moved his hand to clasp Kurt's. He entwined their fingers together.
"I must not have been myself then," he said and Kurt eyed him questioningly, cheeks still burning. "You should always wear tight jeans, unless of course you'd rather take them off. That works for me, too."
Kurt looked stunned for a split second, then smiled. He play smacked Blaine's left hand, which had begun tracing it's way up to Kurt's waistband.
"I could spend forever simply staring into your eyes," Blaine told him, studying the cyan oceans staring back at him.
Kurt smiled and blushed a little, embarrassed.
"Don't get embarrassed," Blaine said reaching up to tilt Kurt's chin back up so that their eyes met again. "I mean it. You're eyes are beautiful. You are beautiful."
Kurt responded with the brightest, widest smile, which made his eyes brighter in turn.
"So are you," he said, then, his fingers pushing Blaine's loose curls back from his forehead.
Blaine tilted his head and allowed his eyes to drink in the gorgeous boy above him—his boyfriend. It was a crazy thought. He never thought he would ever have a boyfriend. Ever since he had known he was attracted to boys, he had been too busy being afraid to look at them, to even contemplate what it would be like to be with one. He thought that he would wind up married to a girl, pretending for his entire life. This, now, with Kurt, was like some sort of brilliant miracle. He could hardly believe it was true and every time he doubted it was, he simply pulled Kurt back down and pressed another kiss to his beautiful mouth.
He did it again and he could feel Kurt smiling against him. The warmth of his body against his own almost made him forget how awful his day had started out. He would remember everything his father had said and then Kurt would murmur against his lips, or press a warm hand to his chest and suddenly, every horrible thought would be replaced with the sheer drunkenness, Kurt's mouth and body and mere presence made him forget everything. He wanted everything with Kurt, wanted to touch him in places he had never touched, wanted Kurt to touch him, too. He could feel his length straining against his pants, but he didn't want to push things too quickly. He took comfort in the knowledge that Kurt wanted him, too. He could feel how badly Kurt wanted him.
He wanted Kurt to feel good, wanted to make him feel good, but wasn't sure how he could do that without crossing the invisible line. Blaine wasn't experienced in the least, he had no idea what he was doing. He didn't even know what he wanted exactly, just that he did want. He gasped when he felt Kurt's thigh pushing hard against his crotch. Kurt muttered a 'sorry', as he continued to explore his mouth with his tongue. Blaine took a small breath, through his nose and raised his knee a bit, pushing his thigh softly against Kurt's hardness. Kurt drew his mouth back, eyes springing open and searched out Blaine's eyes. He studied him, as if to distinguish as to whether or not he'd done it purposely or by accident. Blaine didn't break eye contact, trying to show him he'd done it on purpose, that he had wanted to do it, that he still wanted to do it.
Kurt didn't seem to be getting the hint, so Blaine simply raised his knee again, gaze still locked with Kurt's and pushed his thigh against him, once more. Realisation sprang into Kurt's blue eyes and he took a deep, sudden breath.
"Is it okay?" Blaine asked, feeling himself blushing.
Kurt nodded, almost painfully slowly, then moved down again so that his chest was against Blaine's. Blaine kissed him once and smiled, trying to say 'it's okay!'. Kurt gave a small nod, understanding. Blaine took that as a sign to keep going, so he shifted his body a little so that his lips had easy access to Kurt's neck. He pressed tiny butterfly kisses along the smooth, milky skin on his neck, then stopped when he reached his pulse. He clamped his mouth down over it, sending small moans out of Kurt's mouth. He liked it when he made those sounds, so he continued to suck there. He waited a few moments, then raised his knee to meet Kurt's hard length again. He brushed his thigh back and forth this time and felt Kurt's grip on his forearms tighten. Soon after, Kurt was pushing his hips forward to meet Blaine and within minutes, they had found a rhythm with one another. Blaine loved the feeling of Kurt's heat against his leg, causing him become fully erect inside his pants. He needed to take care of Kurt first, however.
It wasn't long before Kurt's thrusts were coming harder and faster and Blaine knew he was close. He wasn't saying much, just whispering Blaine's name between his soft groans. Blaine pulled his mouth off of Kurt's neck and leaned his head back, wanting to watch his face when he finally came. Blaine reached out and pressed a hand to Kurt's backside, sending a gasp from Kurt's throat. He pushed him to him and ground him down harder, their hips colliding and after repeating that a couple of times, Kurt came inside his jeans, with a groan that sounded a lot like Blaine's name, then collapsed down on top of Blaine, breathing hard. Blaine pressed a tiny kiss to his lips and allowed him to just breathe against him.
It was a long time before Kurt flipped himself over until he lay next to Blaine. Blaine turned his head to look at him, his mind dizzy from what had just happened, still not quite believing it was real.
"That was.." Kurt trailed off, words escaping him.
"Yeah," Blaine smiled. "It was."
"I've never done anything like that bef—well. I've never done anything," Kurt shrugged a bit, blushing high in his cheeks. He had already been a tad flushed from what they had just done.
"Me neither," Blaine replied.
Kurt sat up and shimmied closer to Blaine. He looked down at him.
"I'll do it for you," he said in a half-whisper, flushing a deep crimson.
"You don't have to."
Kurt reached out and traced his fingers along the dark twirling runes along Blaine's arms, his eyes level with his.
"I want to."
He genuinely looked as if he wanted to, too, so Blaine nodded.
"Okay."
"You’re falling asleep on me," Kurt said, after they had changed and gotten inside the bed.
"I know, I’m sorry," Blaine smiled next to him, his eyes half-lidded. "I’d love to stay awake and just stare at you, but my body won’t allow it."
Kurt smiled back, because Blaine's smile was infectious.
"'Life has taught us that love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction,'" Kurt uttered.
"Plath?"
"No."
"Um," Blaine paused for a few seconds. "I give up," he said, finally, yawning at the end.
"Antoine de Saint-Exupery," Kurt informed him.
"Oh," Blaine said, smiling a bit.
"Anyway, it would be extremely disturbing if you just stayed awake and stared at me," Kurt teased.
Blaine grinned now and inched his way closer, his hand finding Kurt's.
"You think?" he asked. "It sounds like fun to me. Plus, I could make sure no Raums sneak in while you’re in dream land. That could come in handy."
"You’re still not funny," Kurt told him, but he was smiling.
"Really? Even now that I can still taste you on my lips?"
Kurt choked a bit when he said that.
"…Go to sleep, Blaine," he chuckled.
"Fine," Blaine sighed, contentedly." I’ll warn you now, I’m a cuddler."
Kurt twisted his face, confusedly, but Blaine wasn't really looking at him now.
"No, you’re not," Kurt said. "We shared that bed in that motel."
Blaine hummed a bit, then said, "Yeah, but at none of those times was it acceptable for me to scoot across and do this."
Blaine moved closer and pressed his mouth over Kurt's lips. He kissed him lazily for a few seconds, then pulled back and pressed his head to the pillow again.
"Mm," Kurt said, smiling. "You make a fair point."
A few moments passed and Blaine had come up close and wrapped himself around Kurt, a small smile on his lips.
"Wow," Kurt said after a while. "You really are a cuddler."
But Blaine was already asleep. Kurt fell asleep smiling, because for once he felt completely at ease, even if the world might possibly fall down around them tomorrow, they had tonight and they had each other and for now, that was all that really mattered.
