Burt noticed Kurt’s hidden mopping.
“Hey Kiddo. Why are you so down?”
Kurt looked up at Burt from the food he was just pushing around with his fork
“Nothing, I just have a minor Headache. Don’t worry, it’s nothing” Kurt lied. He hated lying to his father but he couldn’t tell him about Blaine and him. He’d probably freak out.
“Alright, where’s Blaine? I haven’t seen him”
“he’s in his room, he came downstairs, made breakfast, ate and then went back up” Kurt sighed
“Well why don’t you go check up on him, take him out somewhere, watch a movie” Burt smiled “here, I have to go to work, I’ll be back later, love you kiddo” Burt handed Kurt 2 twenty dollar bills and kssed Kurt’s head before leaving.
Kurt sighed, again. He’d been doing that a lot this day. He decided he’d go upstairs and confront Blaine on the sudden change of mind. He knocked softly on Blaine’s door and opened it slowly. Blaine was laying on his bed, shirtless, and with damp hair as if he had just come out of the shower. His eyes were closed and he was listening to music loudly on his IPod.
Kurt slowly approached Blaine and sat at the corner of his bed.
Blaine felt the bed shift and opened his eyes seeing Kurt, he sat up and took the headphones off.
“Hey. Are you feeling better?” Kurt asked Blaine looking at him intently
“I’m fine, Why would I be feeling bad?” Blaine answered coldly looking him right in the eye.
Kurt was shocked.
“Umm, well. I just… you haven’t said a word to me all morning and you practically kicked me out of here last night” Kurt chuckled nervously.
“So?” Blaine spat out.
Kurt stared at Blaine in disbelief. He wanted to scream, ask him why he was being such an asshole but he swallowed the lump in his throat and cleared his throat.
“My dad gave me money so we could go out or go to the movies or whatever you want to do…”
“is that it?” Blaine rolled his eyes at Kurt and laid back on the bed putting his headphones back in his ears.
Kurt felt tears burning in his eyes but he wouldn’t cry, not in front of Blaine. He simply stood up and walked out.
Blaine Instantly regretted treating Kurt so badly. Kurt was so nice to him and god Blaine didn’t really understand why he was being such a jerk to Kurt. Kurt had no fault in how Blaine was feeling.
Blaine sighed, turned his music off and swallowed his pride. He headed to Kurt’s room and from outside he heard quiet sobs. Blaine even think about knocking before walking into Kurt’s room.
Kurt was curled up on his bed, he heard the door open and turned to see Blaine walk in and before he knew it Blaine was beside him wiping away Kurt’s tears. You could see the guilt in his eyes.
“I’m sorry” Blaine whispered
Kurt stayed silent but nodded, he got closer and hid his face in Blaine’s neck.
Kurt was very vulnerable at the moment ,but he was never vulnerable. He never let his guard down around the rest of the world, he was strong and he never let anyone see him cry. Not even his own father. But with Blaine everything changed. With Blaine he was like a lost kitten trying to find its way. He didn’t know how to be strong or what to do. With Blaine he let all his walls go down completely.
Kurt broke the silence.
“Why?”
“I’m scared” Blaine responded, his voice small and hidden but he continued “I’m scared that I’m falling for you so quickly. I‘m scared that I’m feeling thing that I haven’t felt in such a long time. I’m scared that once I have you, you’ll leave me. Everything good in my life has been taken away from me and I just, I don’t want you to go away.” He took a deep breath to keep from crying, he hid his face in Kurt’s hair but Kurt lifted his head, reached up to stroke Blaine’s face and stared right into his eyes.
“I’m never saying goodbye to you”
Blaine couldn’t keep the tears any longer as he let them fall, still staring into the blue eyes in front of him. Now it was Kurt’s turn to wipe away tears.
Blaine was breaking and all he wanted was Kurt.
“Kiss me” Blaine begged, his voice slightly breaking.
“Okay” Kurt nodded and pressed his lips against Blaine’s.
Blaine desperately kissed the blue eyed boy back, eager for the boy’s lips. His hands roaming Kurt’s body, until he reached up to pull on Kurt’s hair. Kurt smacked his hand away , something Blaine wasn’t expecting.
“No touching the hair” Kurt smirked. Blaine chuckled lightly and pecked Kurt’s lips before ruffling his hair and jumping off Kurt smirking. Kurt laid there shocked.
“You did not just do that”
“Oh, but I did.” Blaine teased.
“You better run Anderson!” Kurt threatened him. Blaine giggled and before he knew it he was knocked over with Kurt on top of him. Kurt began to wrestle with Blaine; they rolled around a couple times before Blaine pinned Kurt down.
Blaine smiled “ I win.”
Suddenly Kurt flipped them over and Blaine let out a big ‘Unff’ as he hit the floor.
“No, I win.” Kurt smirked now pinning down Blaine as he giggled. Blaine sighed and smiled.
“Fine you win. But, I get a kiss.” He chuckled lightly.
Kurt grinned and kissed Blaine lightly before standing up and helping Blaine off the floor.
“So, are you up to go out now?”
“I want you to take me on a date…” Blaine said quietly but hopeful and Kurt’s face lit up smiling and nodding.
“Yes. Yeah. Of course.”
Blaine smiled widely and Kurt grabbed his hand.
“lets go”
