Chapter seven.
The smell of steam coming from the open bathroom door, along with the comforting feel of warm blankets below his bare frame was enough to coax Kurt into relaxation. The sheet rested just above the dip of his back. His head rested on the fluffy gold colored pillow with his arms wrapped around the back. He closes his eyes, and sighs.
He's left wondering what it all meant. What were they? Lovers? Cuddle buddies? Or was that just a 'one-time-thing'? He's left wondering wether or not Blaine would want to love him. The only thing Kurt really knew was that after they'd done what they did... Blaine held him until they were asleep once more. Once Blaine's alarm clock went off later that morning, he felt a kiss to his neck and an emptiness in the bed. Blaine had told him that he's been wanting him. But what does that mean? Sexually? Emotionally? And was it wrong?
He knew it was. But at the same time he knew it was right. No matter what, they'd be on the same boat. That's for sure.
He was pulled from thought by the shower nob creaking as the water stopped. Kurt heard the wet foot steps and humming as Blaine entered the dark room. Kurt closed his eyes and breathed steadily, acting as if he was asleep.
There was a shaking of the bed as the twenty five year old climbed under the covers, close to Kurt.
Kurt felt a warm hand on his back, right above where the sheet laid.
"Blaine?" Kurt whispered as the hand went to his waist and pulled him closer to the older man's chest. Blaine rested his head on Kurt's pale shoulder.
"Yes, beautiful?" Blaine replied. Kurt blushed deeply at the pet-name, burying his face into the pillow. Blaine chuckled.
Kurt sounded a reply, but it was muffled by the pillow. " 'ut fwow'..."
Blaine laughed. "You're going to have to talk a bit louder, hon."
Kurt groaned, lifting his head to look at Blaine. His hair was wet and curly. A towel hung to his waist. Blaine smiled.
"What now? Like..." Kurt began, "what are we...?"
Blaine tilted his head. He thought for a moment. Kurt pulled the sheets over his shoulder, resting on his side.
"Um..." Blaine thought, "I don't know. Look... You have no idea how attracted I am to you..."
"But...?" Kurt asked, sounding a tad disappointed.
"But..." Blaine sighed, "the more I think about it, the more I realize how fast this went. Not referring to the sex... Kind of."
"I don't follow..." Kurt said.
"Look," Blaine sighed in frustration."We should get dressed. Lets talk about this later. I have work. You have school tomorrow."
And with that, Blaine ushered Kurt out of the room, not giving him his cloths or anything. He pointed to the door, and Kurt exited.
Kurt walked, naked, to his bedroom. He put on his sweat pants and a shirt that had a cartoon pickle on it. He decided he'd lay in bed for a while.

At six PM, Kurt found himself impatiently waiting on the couch silently with a blank expression. He'd been that way for about two hours. He wasn't even thinking. He was shaking with the cold. His mind stayed focused. He worried about what Blaine had to say. He wasn't sure he could handle it.
And then, the door opened. His head snapped up to Blaine, wet with rain.
"Hey," he said, taking off his coat and hand it on the rack beside the door. He tied of his shoes before making his way to the couch.
"Hi," Kurt greeted as Blaine sat. He slouched against the cushion. Kurt hesitantly scooted closer. "Are you cold?"
Blaine nodded.
"You are too." He said, noticing Kurt's shaky form. He opened his arms, and Kurt didn't waste a second before collapsing in them. Blaine rubbed Kurt's back, keeping him warm as well as messaging him. Blaine swore he heard him whimper.
"So... Um... About this morning..." Blaine began, "We should really talk about it..."
Kurt nodded. "I know." He sat up so they could speak to each other properly. Blaine's hands rested on Kurt's waist.
"What did it mean to you?" He asked.
"Everything..." Kurt replied, "it was... A lot for me. No one's ever been so close to me."
"It meant a lot to me, too. But if we continue this path... It has to be a secret. You know that, right?"
"Absolutely..."
"Which means you can't tell anyone and we can't be anything less than platonic out in public."
"I know..."
"But once we're home and all alone..."
"Yeah..."
Blaine smiled, pulling Kurt to his lap. Kurt responded by putting both arms around the older man's neck, their foreheads leaned against one another.
"I think I like the sound of that last one," Blaine said. His hand moved down to rest on Kurt's thighs. Kurt smiled. Kurt leaned his head back, offering his neck to Blaine, who immediately attacked his lips to it.
