Dear Kurt,
Cooper told me he saw you. Said you looked good. That’s good. -Blaine
Blaine doesn’t continue with ‘except I’m not.’ He doesn’t say that he had known Kurt would look good, because always does (even when he’s hurting.) He can’t say that Cooper had to hold him for a good twenty minutes because he started crying when Cooper said that they’d had lunch together. He doesn’t mention that he’s not really good. Hell ‘okay’ would be stretching it. He couldn’t say that.
Dear Blaine,
Sounds like Coop’s still doing well then. He stopped by my office the other day while he was in town. He bought me lunch. Hugged me. Talked a bit. Same ole’ same ole.
-Kurt
He doesn’t talk about how Cooper had smelled like Blaine. How Cooper had stayed the night at his apartment. How they had talked forever and ever about the break up. How the lunch was maybe the first time he had smiled in months. He couldn’t say that.
