"Hello, Kurt! Blaine's told me so much about you!!" were my first words to him.... I can't believe I refferred to Blaine when meeting my best friend.
"Hi..." Of course he's being awkward! I forgot to say who I was. Before I got the chance to introduce myself, he closed his locker and looked me so deep in the yes, I could have confused him for MY boyfriend. "You're Melody! Blaine's sister! You have his eyes... and his curls." Wow... I never noticed how much I looked like Blaine, so I just laughed. "Do you sing as well as Blaine says you do? I'm about to meet him at Glee club."
I nodded and we started towards Glee club. We talked about the usual things... Weather, school, life... Then he saw my Alexander McQueen scarf and we started to really click.
We got to Glee club, and Blaine hugged me and bragged about me... He called me his best friend. I am surprised I've never called him the same thing..
I met all of Blaine's friends, sang Paradise by Coldplay(which everyone loved) and I got a lot of phone numbers.... Rachel's...Mercedes's...Finn's...Artie's... but the friendship that went the best, was Kurt's.
Kurt and I were at the mall shopping 3 months later when I got the call. We were now the best of friends you could imagine. Better than him and Rachel, or what Blaine said about me... Brother and sister. But I didn't know if I should tel him this. Ring, ring... "Honey, the test results are back.... Do you want me to tell you, or wait until you get home?" I could feel the fear in my cheeks... I excused myself to go to the bathroom. I told my mom to wait. I just cried, and prayed in the bathoom for about 30 minutes. Eventually Kurt came and knocked on my stall.
"Are you okay Mel?" he asked over and over. I finally opened the door and tackled him in a hug. Without knowing what was wrong with me, he cradled me for at least 10 minutes. I then pulled back, wiped my tears.... "Kurt, I might have luekemia."
