When I tell people what my job is, I get one of three reactions. Most people are shocked; others laugh and think I am lying. The last, which to me was the most unexpected, is the sympathetic grimace of a person who has met my boss. Or think they have.
I smile and laugh, ignoring people’s assumptions of him. The rumours spread round, about who he truly is when he is not on stage. His cruelty and rudeness towards his fans. Bullshit.
Over the past twelve months, I haven’t been the PA to one person. I have worked for several different persons, several different souls, manifested into one human body. Each as different as black and white, hell and heaven. But all as beautiful as the last.
People say you can’t help who you fall in love with. I am no exception to this rule.
