Author's Notes: Sorry an update has taken so long! Technology was against the writers.
Blaine woke up with his head pounding and his throat so dry it felt like he was swallowing sand paper. Instinctively, he reached out for the water bottle on his side table and downed half of the liquid in a single breath. He collapsed back down onto his mattress and was about to pull his pillow back over his head when warm skin brushed against his leg.

He jumped up out of his bed as if he’d been burned, memories of the previous night flooding back to him. Blaine looked at Kurt, eyes wide and hand slapped over his mouth to prevent any possible screams. Immediately his stomach churned, and he darted to the bathroom before throwing up the contents of his stomach.

The thing about tequila was that it burned just as bad coming up as it did going down, and Blaine found himself helpless as his stomach continued to heave everything it had inside of it. Blaine clung to the side of the toilet as he threw up until there was nothing but bile and he slunk back against the bath tub before he reached to flush the contents down.

Blaine stayed there, trying to catch his breath. He stood slowly and managed to make it to the sink. He rinsed out his mouth and brushed his teeth at least four times. Blaine splashed his face with water and dared to look himself in the mirror for the first time since he woke up.

His hair was sticking out in every direction and his eyes were blood shot. He had a visible hickey on his collar bone and by the looks of it, a bruise on his upper arm. Blaine leaned against the sink and dropped his head. He vaguely remembered the drive home but Kurt’s mouth around his cock hadn’t been a dream this time.

Finally, Blaine gathered the courage and pulled open the washroom door. He crossed his arms over his chest when he saw that Kurt was awake and sitting up on the edge of the bed.

“Finished connecting your morals to your dick then?’ Kurt asked coldly before he chugged back his own water. “If so, I need to have a shower.”

Blaine rubbed the back of his neck before he dropped his hands to his sides. “Kurt, we need to talk about last night.”

Kurt stood up and shook his head. “We got drunk, I sucked you off and then we passed out beside each other. What else is there to say?”

“There’s more to it than that, Kurt. We can’t just pretend this never happen!” Blaine snapped back. “I thought we were friends. Friends talk.”

Kurt stood up and brushed past Blaine. “I told you Blaine, I’m not a very good friend. You should have listened to me before!”

Blaine grabbed Kurt’s before he got out of reach. “You aren’t a bad person, Kurt. You just need to open up.”

“Get your hands off me,” Kurt said angrily and yanked his arm away. “I don’t need to do anything.”

Before Blaine can get another word in, Kurt’s gone and slammed the bathroom door shut behind him. Blaine stared at the door for a minute, debating whether or not to bang on it until Kurt opened it. His own anger prickled at the edge of his thoughts, and he grabbed his sweater from the bottom drawer before leaving the room.

Blaine wandered aimlessly around the halls before he found himself in front of Jeff’s dorm room. He hesitated for a moment before he raised his fist and knocked three times.

There was the sound of scurrying and a loud thump before the door opened to reveal Jeff with a blanket wrapped around his waist and his hair a mess. “Blaine, are you okay?”

“No,” Blaine said without missing a beat. “Can I come in, or is Nick here?”

Jeff smiled knowingly and shook his head. “He was here pretty late last night and I passed out shortly after he left. Hence the state of myself,” he gestured to his lack of clothing.

Blaine stepped inside and Jeff flicked on the lamp beside his bed.

“What’s wrong?” asked Jeff as he sat down on his bed. He pulled a shirt from underneath the covers and quickly put it on. “You look like you’ve just seen a ghost.”

Blaine swallowed thickly. “I slept with Kurt last night,” he blurted out.

Jeff nodded. “Okay. Did you like, have sex with him or…”

“We went out to Scandles and I had too much to drink and all I can remember is coming back to our dorm and he went down on me and we woke up together and now he won’t talk to me and I just feel so used and disgusting and…” Blaine took a deep breath and sat down on a chair in the corner.

Jeff looked at him quizzically for a moment before speaking. “Blaine, what’s really the problem here?”

“My problem is that I did something sexual with someone I consider a really good friend and now he wants to act like nothing happened,” Blaine said softly. “I don’t know how to go about anything anymore.”

“Blaine, I’m going to take you back to before Nick and I got together. When he would do things that would drive me crazy and piss me off and I’d end up banging my head against a wall because I wanted to strangle him. I couldn’t figure out why he was able to have such a drastic impact on my emotions,” replied Jeff.

Blaine scrunched his face up. “But that was because you… Oh.”

Jeff smiled. “And Blaine Anderson has figured it out. Now get out of my room so I can go back to sleep.”

Blaine remained silent as he opened the door and stepped out, closing it behind him. Somewhere along the road, he had fallen in love with the boy he once took to the Sadie Hawkins dance.

When Blaine returned to the dorm room, Kurt had disappeared. He tried texting him but got no answer. He even walked around Dalton searching for him, but turned up empty. It wasn’t until he was laying in bed that night, alone, that he realized Kurt must have gone home for the weekend. It was then Blaine remembered that he didn’t have a home to go back to, even if he wanted to.

Monday morning came far too early for Blaine. He stumbled about the room getting ready, concerned that Kurt had maybe decided not to show up at all. Blaine gelled his hair and put on his uniform, slipping his bag over his shoulder before making his way to History class.

Blaine was surprised to see Kurt already in his seat at the back of the room, and when he went to join him the look Kurt gave him made it clear he wasn’t ready to talk yet.

As the lesson began, Blaine sent a few texts to Kurt’s phone. He could hear it buzzing from a few seats away and was devastated when he got no reply. When class was over, Kurt was gone before Blaine even turned around.

But Blaine knew exactly where Kurt would be and tracked him down behind the school.

“You’ve been avoiding me,” Blaine said as he rounded the corner, a smile tugging at his lips when he realized just how shocked Kurt was to see him.

Kurt brought the cigarette to his lips and inhaled deep, exhaling slowly into the air. “Do you want a cookie?”

It took all of Blaine’s restraint to only grab the cigarette from Kurt’s hand and flick it away. “What the hell is your problem, Kurt Hummel?” Blaine demanded. “I’ve been siting here trying to get through to you ever since you turned me around on that staircase, and all you’ve been doing is trying to get in my pants and push me away. Well congratulations, now that you’ve succeeded in one, I guess the other one doesn’t matter very much anymore, does it?”

Kurt’s lips pressed into a thin line and he reached for his pocket to pull out another smoke.

“You don’t get it, do you?” Blaine yelled. “You are so completely blind and unbelievable selfish that you haven’t taken your head out of your own ass to see what’s right in front of you!”

“Blaine, what are you talking about?” asked Kurt, confusion evident in his tone.

Blaine closed the distance between them and grabbed Kurt’s wrist tightly in his hands. “You are an asshole, Kurt Hummel. You’re quick to judge, you push people away, you use them and then toss them away like yesterdays garbage. You don’t think before you speak, you inhale poison into your body on a daily basis and you have the worst attitude I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Kurt’s eyes filled with anger and he tried to pull his hands away but Blaine kept a tight grip.

“You are the most arrogant, demeaning, crazy son of a bitch that I’ve ever met. But you know what, Kurt Hummel? Most of all you’re scared. You’re scared of me, you’re scared of what we have, and you’re scared of what it could mean for you and your precious little life style. I’m here telling you that I’m in love with you, and I think I’ve loved you since I first sat down in that class room and you shared your sandwich with me.”

Kurt remained quiet, his face unreadable. Blaine watched for a moment before doing the only thing he could think of. He grabbed Kurt’s face and pulled him in for a searing kiss.
