Dear Journal, 

I’m beginning to think Wes is absolutely batshit crazy. 

I’ve known since the beginning that he’s a fairly fanatic leader, but he’s been especially worrying lately. We’ve been practising really hard for our upcoming regionals performance, and things are going well. We are hitting our cues in the choreography and the harmonies are coming together nicely, with still over a month to go before the competition. 

When I was still in the New Directions, this would be the time where we would only just start thinking of setlists, so it has been a refreshing change of pace. 

Wes, however, has been stressing so much that I am genuinely worried he might have a nervous breakdown. He’s been scheduling practices for any free moment we have and he has been holding ‘research meetings’ with the council and Blaine. I fear he’s gone off the deep end in his research of the competition and he is dragging David, Thad and Blaine down with him. 

Blaine and I had a date planned tonight. Nothing grand, just dinner at the French Bistro nearby and then a movie in the dorm, but as soon as we walked back in, Wes appeared wide eyed and with his hair sticking up in all directions. He grabbed Blaine’s arm and marched him to the council chambers and they have not come out yet. 

I wonder if I should offer up some information on the New Directions. Not any secrets, of course, but things that could be found out by watching past performances etc. It would save them a lot of time researching, and I might actually get to make out with my boyfriend watch that movie with Blaine that he mentioned wanting to see. 

I really want to be a good friend and team member to Wes, but this is not what I imagined having a boyfriend in an all boys boarding school would be like…
