Author's Notes: Thank you for reading. Next chapter starts the combinTion of stroylines. Fun and humor will be plentiful. As will some drama and a bit of angst.

Blaine recognized the symptoms right away. His best friend had just gone through his first trimester. Denial was the first emotion to hit. How could this happen? Well of course he knew how! He and Kurt, despite being busy with their individual careers, still enjoyed a quite active sex life.

The third morning that he awoke with the nausea and vomiting, he went to a store where he had hoped he would not be recognized. Which after two stints on Broadway was not an easy task. He purchased three pregnancy tests. Not wanting to chance an error, he even spent the extra money for the male pregnancy test. Since obviously the hormones in pregnant men would be different than in women.

Six cups of coffee and one hour later, he sat staring at three positive results. There was still a chance for a false positive right? He was not sure whether to be happy or nervous, maybe even scared. Having just had his second callback to reprise his highschool role of Tony in Westside Story on Broadway, the timing, could definitely be considered not the best.

Blaine stood from where he had been sitting on the closed lid of the toilet, and deposited the tell all sticks into the trashcan. He would have to find a way to tell Kurt. If there was ever a time that demanded romance, this was it.

His concern was not that Kurt would be displeased. In fact he was sure he would be thrilled. With maybe a hint of jealousy. They had decided that if they chose surrogacy, they would choose a surrogate who closely resembled him and use Kurt's sperm. This was better though. Wasn't it? This baby, their baby would have one hundred percent both of their DNA.

Blaine shook his head to clear his thoughts. His emotions were all over the place. "Damn hormones!" He muttered to himself, as he started preparing dinner. Kurt would be home soon, and he had to make it special.

Broadway had been his first thought, then concern over how Kurt would react replaced it. He bounced back and forth between both issues, as he prepped a salad to go with the chicken parmigana he was planning to make.

They could do this right? Surely he would be able to get sometime in as Tony before his pregnancy was noticeable. Then while he took time for the birth and to heal, if the show ran that long, his understudy could takeover.

Kurt was a totally different issue. He did not have an understudy for his role of Kurt's husband. He chuckled at that thought. Wouldn't it be great if he did? His understudy could handle all of the 'worse' from their wedding vows, while he enjoyed the 'better'.

The chicken in the oven, salad all prepared, and homemade vinegarette dressing. Kurt's favorite, thrown in for good measure. He set the table with a linen table cloth. It was white with emerald trim and lace roses embellished throughout. Candles, two of them, stood to the side of their centerpiece, which after all these years was their wedding cake topper. They had forgone the groom, groom idea, and had handblown crystal red and yellow roses that lit up, courtesy of batteries. He sat on a chair and nervously awaited his husband's arrival home.
