Rachel returned home from rehearsal, and was met with utter disaster in the kitchen. Several plates of food in varying degrees of being eaten.
"Finn Hudson!" She hollered loudly. "I thought I was married to a man not a sloppy teenager! What the hell is this mess?"
Finn came into the kitchen, carrying a plate of pancakes. "I am hungry and I don't know what for. So I am trying a little bit of everything to what this kid wants."
Rachel frowned. "That 'kid' is our baby. I think if you would just eat a solid meal, instead of always munching, you would not feel like you do."
Finn huffed out loudly. "I start eating something, then I get hungry for something else!" He paused and looked over the kitchen. "Oh! Do we have chocolate cake? I think I want some chocolate cake, and strawberries too."
Rachel shook her head. "You are impossible. I am going to go soak in a how bubble bath, and you will get this mess cleaned up!"
After Rachel had left Finn standing alone in the kitchen, he dutifully began the cleanup process. After he took a half gallon of chocolate fudge ice cream from the freezer and sat on the sofa eating from the container, as he watched the basketball game.
Rachel, relaxed and feeling better, returned to find the kitchen had been cleaned up. However a new mess was quickly forming. A half empty container of ice cream, half of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a plate with potato chips and dip. She furrowed her brows and stormed into the living room.
"I told you clean the mess up. Not clean it up and start a new one!" She said crossly. "Stop eating so damn much too! Kurt is having twins and lately you are bigger than him."
"Are you calling me fat?" Finn asked, clearly offended.
"No, I am saying you eat too much. Gaining too much weight in your pregnancy, puts you at a higher risk." She sighed. "Leave me alone a widow, to raise our baby alone, because you either can't or choose to ignore the healthy diet, that the doctor wants you on."
Finn shook his head. "That is not what I want. But nothing I have cooked or put together, has satisfied me."
"Well then you need to just ignore your cravings or whatever is going on and just eat one meal." Rachel sighed.
"Will you still love me if I get too fat?" Finn looked at Rachel, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Oh, Finn." Rachel wrapped her arms around her much taller husband. "I will love you forever and ever, no matter how big you get. Promise me though, that you will be more careful about your food choices."
Finn nodded. "I will try." He sniffled. "Do we have any bacon?"
Rachel slapped his arm. "No, but we do have the ingredients for a healthy salad."
