"How the hell... rebels inside... castle..."

Words drifted in and out Blaine's ears, ormaybeinside his head. He wasn't sure. Everything was heavy and fuzzyandsuddenly the voice had changed.

"She wasn't... hurt him... not the plan..."

He couldn't remember who the voice was, though he was surehe knew it. He knew all the voicesthathe heard but his synapses weren'tfiringand he couldn'tfigure outwho they belonged to. The high pitch sound soothed him while the panic present worried him, but who was he worried about? He couldn't remember and it was hurting his head.

When the first voice returned it was closer and clear. Sebastian was shouting at someone.

"Don't let them in again!"

Blaine tried to open his eyes but his eyelids felt stuck. Hefinallymanaged to crack themonly to squeeze them shut again whenthebright light invaded.

"Who?" Blaine asked but it came out more of a croak. He braved opening his eyes again and squinted at Sebastian standing over him. "Don't let who in again?"

"Blaine!" Sebastian shouted again, or maybe he wasn't shouting, maybe it was just loud to Blaine. He shook his head, tryingto clear histhoughts. "Are you ok?"

"No,"Blaine said simply and attempted to give Sebastian a glare for asking a stupid question, thoughhe was pretty sure itlookedmorelike a grimace.

"Yeah, sorry. Stupid question." Sebastian sat in the seat beside Blaine's bed. Blaine noticed for the first time that he was in the hospital quarters.

"Who?" Blaine asked again.

"Who what?" Sebastian looked at Blaine as though he'd spouted two heads.

Blaine sighed at the effort it was going to take asking a question he'd already asked twice, why was Sebastian making this even harder for him? "Don't let who in?"

"Oh, thenon-identical,and thank God for that, evil twins outside. It's their fault you'rein this mess."

"How their fault?" Blaine groaned. Head injuries were no excuse for poor use of the English language, butit was the best he could manageat the moment.

"They were after Berry, and they should have protected you."

Blaine would have rolled his eyes if he could. "Not their jobortheir fault. Let'emin."

"Fine," Sebastian conceded. "I'll let them in, but not yet. The nurse says you'll be fine, butyou just need to rest. So go back to sleep.I'll tell the nurse they can come inbut you have to sleepand they are not todisturbyou."

"Ok." Blaine yawned and instantly wished he hadn't when a sharp pain shot up the back of his neck. It was easy getting back to sleep after that.

The next time Blainewoke uphis head was clearerandherememberedthe conversation he'd had with Sebastian,so hewasn't shocked to find Rachel and Kurt staring intently at him from beside his bed.

"Hey,"he said and was happy to find speaking didn't hurt as much as it had earlier.

"Hi." Kurt said. "Do you want the nurse?"

Blaine thought he should probably talk to the elusive nurse at some point but he didn't feel like it at the moment. "No. Is everyoneelse ok? What happened after I passed out?"

"You were knocked out Blaine! Don't be sonobleall the time, that skinny, balloon chested,ungr..."

"Kurt!" Rachel interrupted. "Everyone is fine, Blaine. Thank you for asking. They were all just worried about you. Brittany made you a card." She reached behind her and handed Blaine a colourful card with an injured unicorn on it.

"Aw, that's sweet. Thank her for me?" Blaine asked. "Did they capture the rebels?"

Blaine was torn about what he hoped for in the answer. On the one hand he supported therebels'intentions and their movementbuton the other he didn't support their methods. They'd tried to kidnap Rachel and he'd been hurt in the process. The petty part of him wantedthe woman punished for what she did, but he understood she didn't do it as a personal vendetta, no matter how personally cuttingher words. It was all for the good of the cause, a cause he agreed with so he couldn't really want her to suffer for it. Why couldn't life be morestraightforward, like in the fairy tales, where people were either good or badand it was easy to distinguish who was in the right?

"No, they got away. The commotion got the attention ofcastle guardsso the rebels ran off. The King has sent covert search parties into the Capital, but as far as we've heard they haven't arrested anybody yet." Kurt explained.

"How did the King react?" Blaine asked.

"Not well. He may have thrown some things that unfortunately didn't connect with Sebastian's head. Sorry,"Kurt apologisedsheepishlywhen he realised what he'd said.

"He made the announcement...about the wedding." Rachel told him. "He thought it would distract the people from the rebel attack, and he was right. The rebel attack barely made the news because people were caught up with wedding excitement." Rachelshrugged with a sighofdisappointment that Blaine didn't understand.

"Everybody loves a wedding." Kurt said.

"Wait, how long have I been out?" Blaine asked.

"Only a day, butyou know how fast news travels." Kurt took Blaine's hand and squeezed it. "Sorry, we should be focusing on getting you better, not bringing you more bad news."

"No, I want to know-its worse not knowing. My brain runs away with me and at the moment that's more painful than normal." Blaine tried to sit up to show he was fine to keep talking, buthis own dizziness and Kurt'sfirmhand gently pushing his shoulderssoon had himslumped back into his original position.

"Ok, well then you should know the King haspushed forwardthe celebrationto Monday." Rachel told him.

"More distractions we think." Kurt explained.

"Which means, you need to get your rest so that you're fit and ready for it." Rachel said. "Martha brought some food by for you earlier, but I think the nurse confiscated it until she could be sure you'd hold it down. You'll have to negotiate that one yourself."

"We'll call back in the morning to see how you're doing." Kurt said, letting go of Blaine's hand and he immediately missed the warmth. "We're sorry you got hurt Blaine."

"Thanks,"Blaine said as he watched them leave.

He finally saw the nurse- Jackie, if he remembered correctly-who reiterated what his friends had told him.She was nicer than Blaine expected, and even let him try to eat a little of Martha's food.It turned out to be very little, and soon his head started spinning again. He lost track of time, drifting in and out of sleep.

When he woke up Jackieencouraged him to try and sit again and he did so with only a slight wobble. She told him that once he could sit without been overcome with dizziness that he could try standing and moving about, so he focused on sitting up again. The nurse scolded him, stressing that he should take it easyand she hadn't meant for him to try again now!She did however have to acknowledge that he in fact had managed to sit up this time.Soon he wore himself out and needed to lie down and sleep again.

It must have been the next daytheby the time he woke again, andKurt and Rachel returned.

"Blaine, you're awake,"Rachel said, happily pointingout the obvious to him.

Blaineimmediately satup and slida glance atJackieto make sure she'd noticed.

"You seem much brighter." Kurt commented.

"I feel fine now-it just hurts when I poke it." Hedemonstrated by pressingat the lump on the back of his head.

"Well don't poke it then!" Kurt saidgrabbing Blaine's arm to pull it away from his head.

"You sound like the nurse." Blaine pouted at him.

"Good, clearly I'm talking sense and you should be taking notice."

"Speaking of the nurse."Jackie said, suddenly appearedat Blaine's bedside. "Do you want to try standing up? I figure you'll either impress your friends with your quick recovery orhumiliate yourself. Either way I'll be happy,"she said with a serene smile.

Blainedecided to ignore her sociopathic tendencies and take her up on the offer. She held her hand out to support him and he pushed off the bed. He managed to get asfar as putting weight on his feet before he felt the dizziness creepup on him. As soon as he was upright he wanted to sit down.

"Not too bad for a first try,"Jackie said, surprisingly encouraging.

Blaine couldn't help the smile on his face. "Thanks, good, I feel good!"

"I know you do, but dizziness can come in waves so don't get overconfidentjust becauseyou don't feel it for a while. I'm happy with your progress and once you can walk on your own you can go back to your own chambers. Don't stress him." She pointed at Kurt and Rachel.

"We won't,"Kurtassuredher.

"We only have some trivial wedding party plans to discuss." Rachel said.

"I'll leave you to it."Jackie said, rushing away.

"What do we need to discuss? I thought the wedding wasn't going to be for a long time?" Blaine asked, hoping his memory hadn't betrayed him with the knock to the head.

"No, not the wedding, the partyon Monday. We need to pick out a song to sing. I have a few ideas already so you can choose from them." Rachel pulled a list out of her bag.

"Sure,"Blaine said agreeably. He didn't really care what they sung. He was happy to letRachel to decide, but hewas gratefulto be included.

"Okay, I definitely think there is plenty for you to workwithhere.Justtell me what you think -You look Wonderful Tonight?" Rachel looked at him expectantly, which was the only indication Blaine got that she was serious.

"Really? I'm sure you will lookwonderful,Rachel, but I thought this was a duet. Wouldn't that just be me singing to you?"

"Oh, you're right." Rachel looked horrified at the thought. "As much as I would love to be serenaded, the whole point is for the guests to enjoy my voice."

"And your love for each other." Kurt chimed in.

"Yes, that too." Rachel agreed absently as she studied her list."How aboutYourEverything'?"

"I don't know it, how does it go?" Blaine asked, he liked to keep up with music from around the country but that wasn't always possible when he couldn't leave the immediate vicinity.

Rachel lit up at the opportunity to sing. "No problem.I have them all prepared.

'Iwannabe the wind that fills your sails

And be the hand that lifts your veil

And be the moon that moves your tide'"

Blaine did a much better job at stifling his giggle than Kurt did.

"Um, I think that's a little too cliché for us, don't you agree? If we were really in love would you want to sing such generic lines to each other?" Blaine suggested rationally.

"You're right Blaine. Such a romantic at heart-whoever you fall in love with will be very lucky."

Blaine tried to focus on Rachel instead of the glistening in Kurt's eyes.

"And yougiggle-face,"shesaid,turningher glare to Kurt."Don't laugh at my song suggestions unless you can do any better."

"Better than that? It's not hard Rachel." She waited expectantly. "Fine. How aboutEverything I do, I do it for you." Kurt said and Blaine thought it was perfect. That's how he wanted to feel, to have that kind of love where making someone happy washispurpose in life.

"Now who's being cliché?" Rachel whined.

"That's not..." Blaine was about to arguethatit wasn'tcliché, that if it was from the heart then it was beautifuland romantic, buthestopped himself just in time, he wasn't singing this with someone he really was in love with and he didn't want to fake that. She was right it would be cliché for them to sing to each other because it wasn't the truth. "...rightfor us. The audience will be able to tell it's not authentic."

"Moving on then." Rachel said smugly to Kurtnowthat his idea had been shotdown too."The first time ever I saw your face."

"As beautiful as that song is," Blaine interrupted,"I don't think we can pull that offeither. The audience know we haven't known each other that long. Plus something more upbeat might be more entertaining."

"Okay fine." Rachel said, clearly getting annoyed that he wasn't in love with all of her suggestions. "This one you'lllove, I'm sure of it.I Love You Baby."

"I Love You Baby!" Blaine resisted from singing. It wasn't the time andJackiewas already glaring at him from his enthusiasm. "I like it, and it'd be entertaining too." Blaine smiled, happy that he'd agreed with one of Rachel's ideas.

"Good, I have another one too. We can try them both out with the piano if you like? I'll sing it now." Rachel said, seemingly satisfied now that Blaine had approved one of her songs.

"Of course. Go ahead, I'm sure it'll be great." He encouraged her and ignored the roll of Kurt's eyes from his obvious suck up.

"'There used to be agrayingtower alone on the sea

You became the light on the dark side of me

Love remained a drug that's the high and not the pill

But did you know

That when it snows

My eyes become large and the light that you shine can be seen

Baby, I compare you to a kiss from a rose on thegray'."

"Perfect."Blaine stopped her from getting carried away. "We can practice them bothand see which one we can harmonise best."

"This is exciting!I love having new duet partners!" Rachel practically squealed. "Not that I will ever tireof you, Kurt."

"Sometimes I wonder if that'sa good thing." Kurt said, thoughRachel didn't really notice. "We better go before the nurse kicks us out. See you soon Blaine."

"Bye Blaine!" Rachel shouted as they left.

By the end of the day Blaine had managed to walk around the room by himself without feeling like he was going to lose his lunch,soJackielet him return to his chambersfor the night.

..............................................................................

The next morning Blaine made a beelinefor the music hall. Although he wasn't feeling his best, he wasn't going to waste any of the now shortened timehe could use the grand piano. He let a small thrill rush through him when the hall was open for his use.

He began by playing some of his favourite pieces to get hisjuices flowingbefore moving on to composinghis own music. He made note of anything hethoughthad potential to be used for the Game at the celebration. He wasn't intending to use the music he'd prepared for the game while helping Rachel. He wanted Rachel to win, andhe knew she could do it without anyunfair advantages, no matterher opponent.

Before long there was a knock on the door and Rachel peeked her head around the door frame. "I was hoping to find you here,"she said, spotting him and running into the room.

"Morning Rachel." Blaine greeted.

"I've brought some extra sheet music with me. I thought we could warm up our voices and get used to singing together before we try to harmonize the final piece,"she said quickly, pulling reams of paper from her bag.

"Sure." Blaine smiled at her.He loved her ability to focus on nothing but the music, to be thatsingleminded must be a great asset. No wonder she was the best at what she does.

"So I thought we could start with this." She placed the music on Blaine's piano. "Do you know it?"

Blaine picked up the paper and read some of the lyrics before shaking his head. "No, I haven't heard it before."

"Why don't you get used to playing it thenwhile I look through the rest of the music I brought," she suggested."Kurt gave me some suggestions that I haven't had chance to look through yet. It's a great piece to harmonize with, but... we'll get to that once you've got used to playing it. Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm just so excited!"

Blaine worked out the melody while Rachel stuck her head inall the sheet musicnow lying on the floor around her. He'd gotten used to the piece quickly but was enjoying watching Rachel as she animatedly mimed all the songs as not too distract him. Suddenly she snapped her head up. "How are you? I forgot to ask."

"I'm good." Blaine reassured her with a smile. "I feel much better, things just seem... a little slow I suppose." He struggledto explain how the sluggishness made him feel like he was travelling through a tunnel in slow motion even when he was only sitting down.

"I'm ready if you are." Blaine said, and Rachel's eyes lit up.

"I am!" She ran up to the stage. "I'll run through it first so that you can get used to the lyrics and then we'll work some harmonies in."

"Ok,"Blaine said as he played the first few notes on the piano. Rachel began to sing the lyrics with an ease Blaine suspected she would have with all the music she had brought.

"If I lift my head
From the bed of stars, the ocean wide
If I call your name out
Would you carry me on inside
If I close my eyes
Let me put my faith in the whole design
Could you raise your voice up
Feeling that hope
Together with mine, yeah

But I'm on my way
Yes I'm on my way
I said I'm on my way
Yeah
But I'm on my way

If I'm on my way now
I'm better for it all cause I'm moving on
And whether they might say
After all you can see
Yeah you can see
I'm gone

But I'm on my way
Yes I'm on my way
Said I'm on my way, yeah
Said I'm on my way,

I'll never find my way back here from anywhere
I'll never find my way back here from anywhere
I'll never find my way back here from anywhere

But I'm on my way
I said I'm on my way
Yes I'm on my way
Said I'm on my way
I'm on my way
Yeah
But I'm on my way"

Blaineenjoyed listening to Rachel's voice, she had a mesmerising quality that didn't deteriorate no matter how many times he heardher.

"That was amazing, Rachel."

One advantage to Blaine's life in the castle had been his access to the best teachers in the country. He'd studied with Sebastian when he was younger and they had bonded over their love of the arts. MrShuequickly noticed his proficiency for musical instruments and spent time encouraging his love of the piano. It wasn't until the King started paying him more attentionwhen Cooperbeganmaking a nuisance of himselfthat he'd discovered Blaine's talent and used it as a punishment. There were other pianos around the castle grounds that Blaine had limited access to, so he could keep up his skills. But it was here that he'd learnt, this piano that had first inspired him.

They spentthe next little whilesittingnext to each otheratthe pianoworking out which lyrics could be harmonized and the pitch needed to blend together. He found working with Rachel quite relaxing, something he hadn't expectedbased onher excitable behaviour. He'd thought she would befocused on herself, wantingto show off what she was capable of,leaving him toharmonize to match her. But it turned out she was just as generous with her voice as she was with her friendship.

Firstly they worked through the song with Rachel singing lead and Blaine blending inwithher voice. Then they worked through it with Blaine on lead before finally preparing a true duet that Blaine would be proud to play and sing in front of people.

They ran through the song a couple of times before Rachel hugged him. "Thank you. I know this whole marriage isn't what either of us want, but it is whatthe countryneedsright now. So thank you for making this as enjoyable as it can be. It almost feels like you're having fun." She winked at him.

"I am having fun Rachel. My brother Coop willtellyou that I can find a positive out of anything. It just took me a while to locate this one, but I got there." Blaine said. He genuinely had gottenpasthis concerns and was focusing on the good that could come from themarriage.

"I'm sorry Cooper can't come to the wedding, I'd love tomeet him. The older, moresophisticatedversion of youmust be quite impressive."

"Older, yes. More sophisticated... no. He's unique that's for sure. And it's probably for the best he's not coming. He'd spend the whole day doing hisupmostto annoy me. I'd put upwithitformy real wedding of course, and I'd do anything to see him, but for this I'd probably banish him anyway to avoid the hassle."

Kurt appeared in the doorway and looked inquisitively at the pair."I was worried when I couldn't hear any singing. I thought you'd lost your voice, Rachel."

"Don't even say such horrible things,Kurt." Rachel stood up and pointed dramatically at Kurt. "We've had a very successful and enjoyable day so far."

"I'm not here to ruin that." Kurt insisted as he walked to join them by the piano. "But Finn was looking for you. I can keep Blaine company this afternoon."

"Oh, ok. We'll continue our good work tomorrow then." She kissed Blaine on the cheek before leaving them alone in the music hall.

"So, how was your first real taste of the full Rachel Berry experience?" Kurt asked.

"It was fun. Her passion is what makes her so good." Blaine said genuinely.

"You really are too perfect aren't you." Kurt looked at him out of the corner of his eye.

"I..." Blaine blushed, not sure how to respond to that.

"It's just that not a lot of people can take Rachel when she goes full throttle." Kurt explained when he realised Blaine was stuck for words.

"I can understand that. She can get overwhelming, butIgo with the flowso she didn't get frustrated with me."

"Yeah, you would rue the day you tried to hold her back. Ourold singing teacher caught the full force of her fury when he gave someone else the solo for the school musical that year, I didn't see the explosion, but I can imagine. Mr Ryerson was sacked by the morningso it'sdefinitivelyin your own interest to stayon her good side. Thankfully she likes to keep me around no matter what I say to her.I sometimes think she'd be bored if there really was no competitionso she needs me."

"Or she just loves you because you're her friend." Blaine said, hoping that Kurt didn't really believe that was thereason Rachel put up with him.

"Maybe." Kurt agreed more with his eyes than his words. "We're family, I suppose, we have that unconditional love and loathing for each other that only comes from family."

"So, we'll be relatedonce Rachel and I are married?" Blaine pointed outmischievously.

"Oh no, please don't say that. The word brother does not come in any way near our relationship!" Kurt held his hands up as though to hold the thought off.

"Why not?" Blaine teasingly pushed.

"Because I already have one, that position is filled." Kurt said stubbornly.

"So, I can't be in your family?"

"I didn't say that! There's room for additions, but not in any brotherly form." Kurt said, and Blaine laughed at how flustered he'd made him.

"I'll keep that in mind." Blaine tried not to stare at the pink tint that had taken over Kurt's creamy skin.

"You do that. Now, you're supposed to be practising for the big Game. I assume you didn't share any of your progress with Rachel on that front. She doesn't need an unfair advantage." Kurt quickly moved on.

"No, I didn't. I worked on a few things before she got here, though."

"Play them for me?" Kurt asked.

SoBlaine did.He went through two of the three pieces he'd been working on, not feeling that the third was developed enough to share yet.

"While they're both wonderful, I definitely prefer the second one. It has a soft beat to it that's really catchy so it'll be easy for the contestants to pick up and for people to remember after the Game. It's not only the singing they're going to come away talking about, it's you too." Kurt leant his elbowson the piano, resting his chin on his wrists.

"The whole point of the accompaniment is to aid the competitors,so if they don't come away talking about the singing then I haven't done my job right." Blaine said.

"Oh shush. You're allowed to make an impact too. You don't get the glory of winning,so the least you can have is people appreciatingyour work." Kurt insisted.

"I never really thought of it like that." Blaine conceded.

"You should, people should know how talented you are."

"You're one to talk, you don't compete even though Rachel says you're the only one who can comparewith her."

"I have my reasons, and I dosingin public occasionally. But you're right.I can't preach what I don'tpractice,so if you want to keep your talent to yourself, that's your choice."

"Do you know who'scoming in to compete with Rachel?" Blaine asked.

"I do. It's one Miss Mercedes Jones. She's the current leader on the competitioncircuit, but only because Rachel competes so sparsely. However, she is the only one who's come close to beating Rachel, officially. She's feistyand has one hell of a powerful voice, I like her." Kurt said with warmth.

"So the outcome ofthis competition isn't a foregone conclusion?"

"Oh Rachel will win, she always does. But Mercedes will make it interesting and she'll bring the best out of Rachel." Blaine smiled at Kurt's assessment of the competition. He was so certain of Rachel's talent but still wanted to see her pushed so that she could better herself. It was a healthy view of competition that Blaine suspected came from Kurt's constant competition with Rachel himself. Blaine was glad Kurt could see it that way rather than focusing on his own loss.

"Good, I'm looking forward to it."

"You are? Everything?" Kurt looked at him inquisitively.

"Yeah... it's going to be a fun evening. I don't get to attend these kind of events very often so I'mfocusing on the positive. I can't control what's going to happen in the future so I'm taking one thing at a time, and doing what's best for me in the moment." Blaine explained.

"Live for the moment. You're being cliché Anderson." Kurt said with a smirk.

"So what if I am? I know there's nothing cliché about you but I'm not you, and a little cliché suits me." Blaine said with a shrug.

"It does. You could be a book of clichés and you'd still be interesting."

"You think I'm interesting?"

"Of course."

"Thank you. You're interesting too, possibly thesinglemost interesting person I've ever met." Blaine said getting lost in Kurt's crystal eyes before the other boy blinked and brought him back to reality.

Kurt cleared his throat. "Yeah, um, Mercedes will make the evening entertaining."

"Good, I'm looking forward to meeting her." Blaine internally rolled his eyes at his own repetition, but he'd needed to say something!

"So, have you started designing Rachel's wedding dress yet?" Blaine changed the subject once he'd managed to get his brain to function properly.

"I thought you weren't looking toofar ahead? Living in the moment, remember?"

"This is the moment. Rachel already mentioned it earlier and I figure if you can't get excited over a wedding dress then there's nothing that will ever excite you."

"You're right, wedding planning is kind of a passion of mine. I organised mydad's and Carole'sweddingwithin a week. Although, to be fair, I think I'd been planning it since the moment mydad met her." Kurt laughed.

"You organised their wedding? Wow, you must really like her."

"I do, she's great for my dad and for me too. I can talk to her about things I'd never talk to my dad about, and she's a friend too."

"It wasn't awkward for you? With your mom?" Blaine asked. He wasn't sure he could picture either of his parents with other people, but he hadn't been through what Kurt and his father had.

"No, not at all. I'll always love my mom, and so will my dad- nothing changes that. But he deserves to be happy now, andnot just live inamemory. I guess he's living in the moment like you." Blaine returned Kurt's smile. "As soon as my dad metCarolethere was something that came alive in him again. How could I not be happy about that?"

"I'd love to meet them someday." Blaine said.

"You will,I'm sureof it. Carole will love you, thoughmy dad might take some convincing."

"Why?" Blaine asked, holding backthe fear he now felt about meeting Kurt's dad. It's not as though he'd be meeting him as Kurt's boyfriend.

"He's protective of me... and Rachel,"Kurt added. "I'm sure you'd charm him in no time, though."

"Will you sing with me?" Blaine asked before he realised what he'd said. He just felt the urge, and why not follow his own advice and do what'sbest for him in the moment?

"Of course." Kurt answered immediately and Blaine could have sworn his voice was higher than normal. "Why don't we play a Game? To one of the pieces you've written. Two birds with one stone."

"Sure." Blaine made himself answer before he could think it through and back out.

Blaine played a few chords before Kurt interrupted. "You didn't play that one earlier."

"No, this is one I wasn't confident enough in to share before, but I thinkthe timeisnow."

"Okay,"Kurt said with a wide smile.

Blaine began playing again, the melody slower than his other pieces. Hegesturedfor Kurt to take the first line.

"Just take my hand,

and hold it close,

Feel the beat.

I can feel,

more than you know,

Inside of me."

"Inside my dreams,

I see it clear,

I see my life.

My hopes and fears,

are all the same,

But mine to share."

"Open your heart and you will find, I can be your light tonight.

Just let me in your arms once more, once more, once more."

"How can I feel this much right now, how can it be so clear to me?

A life to share, a heart to hold, and a life that I could know.

Yes alife that I could know."

"For one fine day,

just let it be,

My perfect life.

I'd give it all,

just for the chance,

For one more dance."

"For one more night,

to see your face,

To see you smile.

How can I feel,

so much that I,

I didn't know.

"Open your heart and you will find, I can be your light tonight.

Just let me in your arms once more, once more, once more."

"How can I feel this much right now, how can it be so clear to me?

A life to share, a heart to hold, and a life that I could know.

Yes alife that I could know."

When the music stopped Kurt began clapping. He was staring intently at Blaine as though he didn't even realise his hands weremoving.

Whenhedidn't stop, Blaine asked, "Kurt, are you alright."

"Yes,"Kurt said immediately before noticing his clapping was becoming increasingly more seal-like. "I'm good." Kurt said and finally gave his hands a rest. "Your voice, it's very... enchanting."

Blaine ducked his head.
