-Blaine p.o.v-
I was just folding the last of my many sets of clothes into my third suitcase. Once I was content, with everything, I zipped it shut ready to leave. Kurt had been packed for ages because he barely had anything to pack. He had tried to help me but I had told him that he didn’t have to and I told him to go and rest or something not that that was the best idea because instead he had been bouncing off the walls in excitement. He was genuinely so happy and excited, like a little kid who is going to see Santa for the first time. I smiled as he came up beside me and said,
“Blaine are you finished?” I turned and nodded before glancing over at Nick and Jeff who couldn’t close their bulging suitcases. I laughed and went over,
“Do you guys want some help?” Nick replied, out of breath from trying to shut his case,
“Yeah, Kurt wasn’t heavy enough,” Kurt looked embarrassed, his cheeks going bright red as he looked down trying to hide it from us, I chuckled and hugged him before sitting on Nick’s suitcase and then Jeff’s.
Once we were all finally completely packed we just had to sit and wait until we were called for our ride. Not many people stay at the school over Christmas so I was quite glad that Kurt was coming with us; he would have been alone if not and I knew he hated being alone, it made him really nervous and uneasy. My ribs are still healing but I can now run around and stuff which is good. Even better was the fact that Sebastian and the others still have a week in isolation when we get back from the Christmas Holiday.
“Blaine Anderson, Nicholas Duval, Jeffery Sterling and Kurt Hummel, your car is hear,” Kurt jumped up and ran to his suitcase. Nick, Jeff and I just laughed, he really was way too excited. I said,
“Kurt calm down, please just a little,” he nodded and I could see he was trying to control his excitement as we walked towards the entrance.
As we walked into the large, clean reception building, having caught Wes and David on the way down and wishing them a happy Christmas. I caught sight of Joseph my driver, he smiled and hugged me tight. The staff in my house are more like family to me and my dad and, I am really close to them. He then went on and hugged Nick and Jeff, he then saw Kurt who looked absolutely terrified of him. Joseph chuckled at Kurt’s expression and smiled saying said,
“And you must be Kurt?” Kurt nodded and replied,
“Yes sir,” Joseph just laughed again and said,
“Just Joseph will do,” Kurt looked so relieved as if he thought Joseph was going to do something to him. Joseph saw his tiny case and looked around, obviously looking for more cases before saying to him,
“Is this everything?” Kurt looked down and nodded clearly embarrassed. Joseph shrugged and picked it up along with one of mine. I took Kurt’s hand and pulled him along, as he had one of my cases and I took my other one, following Joseph. Kurt stopped as he saw the sleek black limo which, I am now so accustomed to, I turned and saw his mouth gaping and his eyes wide in awe. I chuckled and said,
“Come on,” he gulped saying incredulously,
“This is your car?” I looked at him,
“Our car Kurt, unless you plan to run along behind, that is” he just nodded and let me drag him towards the car where Joseph was stood clearly very amused by Kurt’ reaction to the car. He gestured for us to get inside, I got in and Kurt just stood at the door. I said,
“Kurt come on,” he nodded and got in, he sat next to me and gazed round the limo in awe, there was a mini bar along one side. Nick and Jeff were huddled in the corner telling each other how much they loved the other. I chuckled and said,
“Kurt do you want some cola?” Kurt looked at me confused,
“What is that?” Now that one caught me off guard, I fell forwards off the seat, Nick and Jeff were staring, gaping speechlessly, at him in shock as well. I managed to say,
“You have never had cola before?” he shook his head. I grabbed a can of coke out of the cool box and grabbed a glass. I poured a little bit in the glass and handed it to him. He just stared at it as the bubbles all fizzed. I put my hand on his arm,
“Kurt you drink it,” his head snapped up and he nodded. He drank the small amount and pulled the funniest face I have ever seen. Nick, Jeff and I were all laughing so hard as his nose scrunched up. I said,
“Good Kurt?” he looked at me funny and said,
“My nose feels all tingly and it was weird, really sugary” Nick chuckled and cracked his can open while Jeff did the same. I said,
“Would you prefer orange juice or something, they do a diet version you can try that when we get to my house?” Kurt shook his head,
“No it is fine, I will drink it,” I stopped him,
“Kurt if you don’t like it, it is fine, I will drink it and you can have orange juice or something, yeah?” he nodded and I took a bottle of Tropicana out of the box and handed it to him before downing the can of coke.
The journey was a long one and Kurt was asleep in no time. Joseph put the screen down between him and us so we could talk to him, we talked about school and how everything was going, we talked about Kurt and what he was like. Time was flying by as we talked and it was soon getting really late. We still had about 6 hours of driving left so we shuffled around and went to sleep; Nick and Jeff huddled together while I wrapped my arms around Kurt and promptly fell asleep...
