Author's Notes: This is the next to last chapter. I might make a little one shot or a sequel with only a few chapters. Thank you for reading!

An hour and a half later, officer Krupek and Dr. Bennett walked back into the boys’ shared hospital room. The doctor looked disapprovingly at the two, both of them lying in Kurt’s bed, but Blaine knew that after they shared what had really happened to Kurt, he would understand

”Ok, Mr. Hummel and Mr. Anderson, officer Krupek and I are going to ask you some questions, and I would like you to answer them as truthfully as possible,” Dr. Bennett spoke softly to the pair.

Blaine nodded, and after a moment’s hesitation, Kurt nodded as well.

”When examining your body after the accident, Mr. Hummel, I noticed that you had a few bruises and other injuries that would have resulted from a traumatic event. Also, when you first originally woke up after the wreck, your reaction was that of someone who had been through… a lot in the past. Can you tell me anything about that?”

Blaine held Kurt’s hands tightly in his own, and brushed his lips across the back of his hand, “It’s alright Kurt…. Tell them what happened. I’m here for you.” Blaine brushed away the lone tear on Kurt’s cheek with his lips softly.

Exactly ten days ago… I was at a party, with Blaine. Blaine had went to go to the bathroom, and I went to the kitchen to get a drink. I was drunk already, but my drink had been spiked with a ‘date rape’ drug, and I didn’t know about it. Someone who I thought was Blaine took me upstairs in a hazy stupor, and….” Kurt’s voice was quiet and the underlying emotions of regret and hurt colored the countertenor’s voice.

Blaine wrapped his arms around his boyfriend’s slender figure, holding him close and whispering soft words of comfort. “I love you, beautiful. Nothing that happened, is happening or will happen will ever change that. I want to help you Kurt…. Please… let me in… We can’t help you until you allow us to do that. But first we need to get him behind bars, where he belongs.”

”He… he raped me. I’ve never regretted anything more in my entire life, ever. Ever since it’s happened, I’ve felt dirty… and used… and disgusting! I had no idea what was happening, who it even was until the drug wore off. I thought it was Blaine… I-I…..” It was then that the tears began flowing down Kurt’s cheeks, and Blaine was there, wiping them away, telling him how much he loved him, how much he cared for him.

The doctor and officer watched them with solemn expressions, they had never seen a couple so intensely in love, especially after an event like rape had happened. “Who raped you, Mr. Hummel?” officer Krupek asked quietly.

”Shane Anderson. The same man who crashed into Blaine and I, also his brother. They’re twins, and look exactly alike except Shane’s eyes are green. That’s why I thought it was Blaine.”

”I also talked to my brother after I woke up, and he was drunk. He had been drinking when he crashed into us, and I’d bet anything he’s still drunk.”

Officer Krupek nodded, “Thank you for your time, Mr. Hummel…Mr. Anderson. We’ll take care of the legal jargon. He will be prosecuted accordingly.” The officer ducked out of the room, Dr. Bennett following behind him.

Blaine held Kurt as the tears slid down both of their cheeks. Kurt was crying at the pain of the recollection, and Blaine because he knew his boyfriend was hurting. Kurt wiped the tears from his eyes, and looked at Blaine. “I’m done crying. I will not give Shane Anderson the satisfaction of me shedding another tear over what he did to me. It’s time to be strong, and get over this. Blaine, I don’t want you to look at me with concern every time I catch you looking at me. I’m not like a time bomb about to explode, because this sorrow ends now,” Kurt’s voice was strong and thick with the weight of his decision; he looked over at Blaine and smiled warmly at him. “All I want to worry about now is getting through high school, and my family and friends, but most importantly, loving you.”

Blaine smiled and kissed Kurt lovingly, his tongue tracing over his bottom lip, silently asking for entrance. Kurt graciously allowed him, and his tongue slid slowly over Blaine’s. When the kiss became a little heated, Kurt pulled away with a chuckle.

At that moment, the hospital room door flew open and banged against the wall, the hinges shaking the door. A very flustered and angry looking Mr. Anderson, and his wife following behind him, burst into the room, “Blaine Everett Anderson!! What the hell did you do to get your brother put in jail?! We know that it had to be your fault!! Shane would never do anything that would get him in trouble, especially with the police!” Mr. Anderson shouted at his least favorite son.

Kurt snorted at the man’s choice of words, Blaine got up from Kurt’s bed, standing defensively in front of Kurt. He knew they would try to place the blame on anyone they could, even his boyfriend in a hospital bed. “Your favorite son, raped my boyfriend, father! When Kurt finally got the courage to come back to school, Shane tormented him!!! The very reason that I am in the hospital, along with Kurt and your darling Shane, is because he was drunk and wrecked into us!” Blaine’s face was turning red from anger, but he wasn’t exactly yelling because he didn’t want to place anymore stress on Kurt.

Mr. Anderson laughed humorlessly, “That’s complete nonsense. Shane wouldn’t sleep with a man, he’s straight, unlike you two fags. “

Blaine lunged at his father, sending a right hook into his face. A sharp cracking noise sounded, the sound of his father’s nose breaking, and of Blaine’s knuckles breaking as well. The adrenaline rush he got from the anger of his father calling Kurt that name didn’t allow him to feel the pain of the injury yet. “Call me whatever you want, but do not say a word about my boyfriend. He’s more of a man than you or Shane could ever hope to be because Kurt has something you never will, and that’s courage. You and Shane are both cowards, hiding behind your insults and seemingly perfect life; because you’re too afraid to address that something unexpected or “wrong” might be happening!”

Mr. Anderson stared at his son in disbelief, shell-shocked and speechless. He didn’t know how to respond to that, and the faint trickle of blood running from his nose brought him back out of his reverie. “I-I…. you…. “ Mr. Anderson stumbled over his words, no coherent sentences forming on his lips. He then simply walked out of the room, Mrs. Anderson staying behind.

She swept her son into a hug, tears forming on the corners of her eyes. She kissed his cheek and looked into Blaine’s eyes, “I’m so proud of you, Blaine. You finally stood up to your father. Maybe now he’ll realize how awful Shane really is now. I’m so sorry I never stuck up for you after all these years… I’m so sorry, my little one. You won’t have to deal with your father for much longer.” She hugged him tightly once more, then looked past him and at Kurt, “You be good to him, you hear me?”

Kurt smiled warmly, and sat up straighter, “I wouldn’t dream of anything less. Your son is amazing. I don’t know where I’d be without him.” Kurt’s eyes slid to Blaine, the love in them apparent to any onlooker.

Mrs. Anderson leaned past Blaine and hugged Kurt lightly, “Thank you.” She then left the room, her eyes glassy with tears of happiness and knowing that Blaine could finally be happy with the one he loved.

End Notes: Reviews would make me happy.
