Archer stretched his arms above his head, his fingers hitting the cool wall, as the rising sun streaked across his floppy body. Fluttering his eyes, Archer searched for the warmth of his husband, but found himself alone in the bed, the blankets on the side that Hunter had slept on neatly folded, the pillows fluffed and stacked on top of each other. He turned his head to both of his sides, orientating himself with his surroundings. He squinted through the sunlight, looking over at the bedside table, where a thin piece of paper was sitting under a glass of orange juice-just the way Archer liked it, without the pulp, and with enough ice to chill it, but not make it watery. Wriggling out of his cocoon, Archer scooted the orange juice to the side and blinked at the note, which Hunters scratchy handwriting had been scribbled onto. Good morning. Come to the kitchen when you get up. The rest of your breakfast will be waiting for you. Theres a robe for you on the dresser. Put nothing else on. Love you-H.
Setting the note down, Archer glanced up at the dresser, where, as promised, one of Hunters robes was laying. "Nothing else, huh?" Archer whispered to himself, his cheeks heating up, before he cooled the coloring back out of his face with a sip of his orange juice. "He certainly doesnt waste a honeymoon, does he?" He slowly rose from the bed, making his hair tumble over his forehead. He shook it out of his face, and then padded over to the robe. Still new at the prospect of married life, Archer hesitated to slip it on, and then considered himself lucky that Hunter hadnt brought out the big guns and set out a piece of lingerie. Putting on the bulky robe, Archer tied the front of it, and then carried the glass of orange juice out of the room. From downstairs, he heard the clatter of pots and pans, as well as the crackling and simmering of something frying on the stovetop.
Shuffling down the stairs, Archer walked over to the kitchen door, his bare feet sinking into the warm carpet. He pushed it open, his eyes peering in on Hunter, who was digging through the fridge. Several bowls were set on the counter, all filled with mixtures that Archer couldnt identify. The aromas overwhelmed him, making him tilt his head and sniff until he could almost taste his breakfast. The sounds he was making must have alerted Hunter, who turned around, a loaf of bread and a bottle of cinnamon in his hand. At the sight of his recently awoken husband, a slow grin curved his lips. "Good morning." He muttered, distracting himself from the popping oven long enough to go over to Archer and kiss his soft mouth. "How did you sleep?"
Archer blushed as he was reminded that, late in the night, he and Hunter had made love once more. He couldnt remember much after he came down from his second climax, his husbands large hand wrapped around his cock, stroking up and down, as Archer gasped and arched, tears pricking the corners of his eyes. After he finished, hed had one of the best sleeps, too exhausted to even dream. "Very well, thanks." He dawdled farther into the room, finding a place to perch himself that he thought wouldnt get in the way of Hunter. "You didnt have to make breakfast, Hunter. We could have gone out. You havent been up long making this, have you?"
Hunter shrugged, whisking a sloshing bowl of some sort of tannish white liquid. "Long enough. Im almost done. I was hoping to have the table set before you woke up." He poured the thick cream onto a frying pan, where it instantly was ravaged by furiously popping bubbles. "There will be plenty of time for us to go out, Archer, especially since well be moving here. I wanted to relax this morning... just the two of us. As much as I loved living in your parents home, we hardly spent any alone time together, and I felt guilty every time we had sex. Sometimes its nice for a man to have his husband all to himself."
"Well... you have me now. You can do what you want with me." Smiling, Archer reached behind himself and boosted himself onto the empty counter. He kept his legs sealed together, his ankles crossed, as he watched Hunter open a bag of bagels and stick one of them into the toaster. As his eyes traced the outline of his husbands shirtless chest, he noticed something that made his eyebrows scrunch. The lower half of the stove had been left untouched, and the door of it had even been taped shut. A towel hung over the glass wall, preventing anyone from seeing what was within the oven. He looked back up at his husband, suddenly noticing the deep ruts and wide scars that crawled over his chest and back. An oven had been the thing to once blind him. "Hunter..." he started to say, and then he became aware of the calm, appeased look on Hunters face, his lips tilted upward, his eyes slanted at the corners. Archer gave up on the subject, letting Hunter have his happiness. When Hunter turned his head, Archer merely shrugged, "Its nothing. I just wanted to tell you that the food smells delicious."
"If only itll taste as good as it smells." Hunter swiped the toasted bagel from the slot, and he dropped it onto a plate. He dipped a knife into a tub of cottage cheese and smeared it over the top of the cinnamon and raisin bagel, and then plopped a few sliced bananas onto the topping. After a quick shake of a jar of cinnamon, he repeated the process with the next bagel. "Oh... babe, your parents called this morning. Theyll be flying in this weekend. Theyre going to help us look for an apartment. They asked how we were doing. I told them that the honeymoon was going wonderfully."
Archer grinned from ear to ear, "I figured they wouldnt stay out of our hair for long. Ill be glad to see them again. I dont like staying away from them." Hopping off of the counter as Hunter started gathering plates and bringing them over to the table, Archer helped by picking up a plate of fruit and placing it between a salt shaker and a bowl of biscuits. Hunter pulled his chair away from the table and nudged him closer to it, but Archer paused and kissed his mouth before he sat. "Thank you for the meal. Its so much food... You know, I would have been happy with a bowl of cereal."
"I wouldnt have." Hunter chuckled, lowering into the chair that was closest to Archers. "Im starving. You might be able to eat as much as a toddler does, but Im a big guy."
Cutting open one of his biscuits, Archer quirked a brow at Hunter, "And are you referring to a normal toddler, or the toddler that you were? The one that ate my parents out of house and home?"
Hunter screwed up his face in a glare, his fork clattering to his plate. Grabbing the front of Archers robe, he jerked him to the edge of his seat, making him squeal as he fought to open the front of it. "Hunter, no! I dont have anything underneath this. I am not eating breakfast with you if Im completely naked!" He slapped his irritating husband away, "Get off of me, you big lug!"
Hunter laughed, finally untying his robe and flinging the flaps of it apart. Although he had meant to embarrass Archer for making a snarky remark like that, the humor instantly withered from his face. His eyes flickered over the front of Archers reddened body, which he tried to wrap his arms around to hide himself. Taking a shaky breath, Hunter grabbed another fistful of the robe, tugging it from Archers shoulders and making it spill around his hips, half of it falling to the floor. "Dammit." He whispered to himself, and then he lunged, smashing his mouth into Archers. Archer made a startled noise, but instantly gave up the fight, his body going weak in Hunters ensnaring arms. Laying his hands over Hunters shoulders, Archer leaned back as his husband practically climbed from his chair, hovering over Archers trembling form. "Hm... Archer, I have to have you."
As Hunter gasped for air, Archer caught a few seconds to murmur, "B-But the food... Itll go cold. You spent so much time on it-"
"Then you eat, if thatll make you feel less guilty." Suddenly, Hunter sank onto his knees, part of him disappearing under the table. Archer jolted when he pried his knees apart, trying to close them back up. When he did, he found Hunters head already between his thighs, now clamped several inches from his hardening penis. Hunter let out a deep growl, his hands shoving Archers thighs apart once more. "Just eat, Archer, and let me do this. I cant do anything else when Im this aroused."
Archer jumped at the first touch of Hunters lips, a soft whimper purring out of him as Hunter kissed up and down his length. Hunter spent a good amount of attention at his swollen sacs, before he stuck his tongue out, dragging it up and down the largest vein in his cock. Archers shaking hands lowered to Hunters head, snatching tuffs of his brown hair. "H-Hunter... I cant... I cant eat when youre doing this. Please... please." He wasnt sure what he was begging Hunter to do-whether it was a plea for him to stop, or to give him the release that had very quickly been coiling inside of him, waiting for that one stroke of his tongue that would make him snap and send him spurting into Hunters mouth. When Hunters tongue wrapped around his head, toying with the slit at his tip, Archer burbled incoherently, his head bowing as tears spurted from his eyes. "Oh... that feels good. Dont stop. Please..."
He was unaware of when he started rocking into Hunters mouth, his shaft rubbing over the flat of Hunters tongue. Hunter slurped the pre-cum that spilled from his tip, collecting the tiny, clear droplets and painting them across Archers stiff penis. Leaning his head back, Archer focused on the noises that came from Hunters mouth, the burning sensation everywhere that Hunters tongue brushed, the rupturing in his lower belly. Hunter suddenly sank down on Archers cock, and he choked when the tip of it hit the back of his throat. A loud cry burst out of Archers lips, followed by another, as Hunter returned to kissing him with his wet lips. He felt him nuzzle into his sacs, and then press his tongue into the sensitive underneath of him. Screaming as he was enveloped in such intense pleasure that he found he couldnt consciously move a bone in his body, Archer desperately rutted his hips at Hunters mouth, using all of his strength to wrap his legs around his shuddering back. "Oh, Hunter! Hunter!" Archer gasped, hearing Hunter grumble for him to come in his mouth, that he wanted to taste him, feel the beads of liquid dribble down his chin.
That was enough encouragement for Archer to squirt into his mouth, hearing him swallow thickly as come filled his cheeks and gathered on his tongue. Still jittery, Archer slowly returned from his spasms, his mind foggy and oblivious to everything around him. Even after he finished coming, Hunter kept licking and sucking his cock, releasing it every few seconds and watching it bob against Archers stomach. Finally, Archer couldnt take the heat of his mouth anymore, and he pushed Hunter away. When his husband emerged, Archer couldnt even bring himself to flush as he saw him licking his lips, saliva and come coating his mouth. He threw himself at Hunter and caught his mouth in a searing kiss, while his hands shoved into Hunters pants and pushed them down his thighs. "Take me. I want you to take me. I want you to come inside of me. I want you to push it back in. I want to feel how warm it is, and the way it feels as it runs down my legs. Oh, Hunter, I want it so badly."
Without another word, Hunter pushed himself off of his knees and he whisked Archer out of his chair, letting him hook his legs around his waist as he carried him off to the bedroom. Neither of them thought about the food that they had been so hungry for minutes before, not as Archers lust-filled shrieks flew up to the ceiling, or as his blunt nails scratched over Hunters back. When both of them released once more, and Hunter drew his milked penis back out, he tenderly scooped up the stream of come that poured out of Archer and pushed it back into his reddened, puckered hole. Archer whimpered at the strange feeling, his skin becoming hot as Hunter lowered his mouth between Archers legs and gently kissed the sore area. When Hunter drew back up, showing his bruised and swollen mouth to Archer, Archer twisted around and pressed his groin into the blanket, unwilling to let Hunter see that he was already springing up again. Hunter stared down at him, breath panting out of him, his shoulders quivering, and Archer met his gaze. Looking at his husband, Archer felt himself frown, "Our breakfast is still on the table. And it looked so good, too."
Hunter weakly chuckled, bending over Archer and kissing the side of his head, "Dont worry, my love... all of it is salvageable. I didnt know that I would get so carried away by just looking at your body. Thats unusual for any man, let alone someone like me." Archer knew that Hunter was referring to his experience with sex. "I should be able to control myself better, but you..." he flicked his eyes down to Archers butt, which was pointed slightly toward him. He rubbed a circle into it with his palm. "You do things to me that I dont want to admit."
Archer smiled from ear to ear, leaning up once more to kiss Hunters mouth, "I like that youre this way." He didnt think hed ever be saying those words, but as he laid, splayed across the bed with pools of semen all around him, sinking into the blankets, and drying into his skin, with his panting husband on top of him, Archer realized something about himself that hed never known before. "You can look at me all you want, if this is what happens when you do. It felt really good, Hunter. Its... different now."
Hunter raised his brows, feeling Archer wrap his arms around his neck and draw him back down, "How is it different, Archer?"
Archer looped his legs around Hunters hips once more, his wispy breath echoing through Hunters ears, the words burning themselves into his brain. "Come here... Ill show you."
Archer bounced on his toes beside of Hunter, the two of them waiting inside of the airport for Blaine, Kurt, and Keegans plane to touch down. Although the past four days had been like a dream to Hunter, one in which he saw things he never thought he would, and spent every moment at his husbands side-rising together, bathing in each others arms, brushing their teeth at the same time-Hunter was more than ready to see his in-laws and dad again, and to spend the day hunting for their perfect apartment, where they could live out their first months or years of marriage comfortably.
Removing his arm from Archers waist as soon as the doors flew open, Hunter grinned from ear to ear after several people stepped out, followed closely by the family that Hunter had grown to love. Archer squeaked at the sight of his parents, darting away from Hunter and flinging himself at his pére. The two of them instantly started chattering, Kurt exclaiming about the way that Archer glowed, and Archer telling him about all of the things he and his new husband had done. Fondly shaking his head at the two of them, Blaine headed over to Hunter, with Keegan trailing behind him. Hunter embraced his in-law, and then his dad, watching Blaine smirk crookedly at him. "How was the honeymoon?" He muttered.
Hunter took one of Blaines bags from him and slung it over his shoulder, starting to walk away from the gate when he realized that his husband and other in-law were so invested in their jabbering that they hadnt noticed the rest of the group moving. He rolled his eyes, "Come along, Archer. Its time to go, honey." He looked back at Blaine, his brown eyes shining, "We had a really good time, Blaine. The weathers been great. The crowds havent been too heavy. Archers shown me nearly every nook and cranny in Paris. We went to see a musical just the other night. Ive tried a lot of French cuisine. The food is delicious over here." He started to talk about how the house had treated them, but Blaine held up his hand.
"Thats all I need to know, Hunter." Although his golden eyes glinted with amusement, his firm mouth betrayed how little he wanted to hear about what Hunter and Archer had done when they werent out and about.
Hunter smirked, "Ill keep those details to myself, for everyones sake. I was going to say that you have a beautiful home. I cant count how many times I got lost."
Wrapping his arm around Hunter, Blaine led them to the baggage claim, "Well, Kurt, Keegan, and I have a surprise for both of you. Let us get home and unpacked, and then well see if you want me to make an appointment for you."
Hunter scrunched his face up, "Appointment? What are you talking about? The last time I had an appointment, a bunch of strangers flashed lights and pointed lasers at my eyes."
Blaine shook his head, as if Hunter was being ridiculous, "All for the better, Hunter. Is there anything youre not suspicious of?"
Yanking one of their bags from the conveyor belt, Hunter opened his mouth, and then closed it again. Blaine raised his brows at him, "Im always right. Im a dad. And when youre a dad, youll be the one whos always right." Hunter rolled his eyes again, but let Blaine have his misinterpretation of what it meant to be correct. After sixteen years of raising Archer, the guy deserved a break.
Upon their arrival at their house, the three who had spent the day traveling strayed from each others sides. Keegan sank into the couch and kicked his feet up as if he hadnt rested in weeks, while Kurt sat down with his husband at the coffee table, both of them staring at Blaines laptop. Hunter chose to ignore his curiosity of what Blaine meant about a surprise, and even more so, an appointment, so he could take care of his in-laws. He had been planning on their arrival for the whole week, so, in preparation, hed fixed a pot of cold soup. Pouring out bowls for each of them, he passed one over to Archer, who hadnt eaten since they first arrived at the airport, and let him carry an extra one, while Hunter took the others, into the living room.
Seeing Blaine clicking around from screen to screen, Hunter bent and handed a bowl of soup to Keegan, and then nodded his head at the laptop, as if Blaine wouldnt know what he was referring to. "Whats going on, Blaine?"
Turning slightly so he could meet Hunters gaze, he patted the spot beside of him, "Come here, both of you. I want to talk to you." Although he was hesitant, Hunter gripped Archers small hand in his and drew him to the couch, where he perched him in his lap, his arms winding around his waist. It only served to increase Hunters bafflement when he caught a glimpse of a website for a furniture store. "Hunter, Archer... Kurt and I have been talking about what you two are going through. I, more than either of us, understand what its like to be a young teenager who doesnt have a clue about what he wants to do. And I even had the two of you when I was still jobless. Hunter, while Kurt and I are both very proud of you for getting your first book published, I want to be reassured that both of you have steady careers. You know that you can always fall back on us, but I want the two of you to be independent people, who know that they can rely on themselves."
During a slight pause that Blaine took, Archer spoke up, his voice so small that he sounded like a mouse, "Daddy, you think that Im using you for your money?"
Blaines face became very concerned. He patted his sons hand, "Sweetheart, no. Your pére and I have never thought that of you. We didnt expect you to get a stable job right out of high school, and its normal for the parents to pay for the wedding and honeymoon. You havent burdened us at all, honey. What Im saying is that... I just want to know whats going on with both of you. Have either of you thought about careers? I would offer both of you positions with the Warblers, if you wanted them."
Archer wrinkled his nose, "Daddy, thats your legacy." Blaine chuckled at that, wrapping his fingers around Archers plump knuckles. Finally shrugging, Archer murmured, "Daddy... I have been thinking about jobs. I found this dance studio thats a few miles from here. I could even walk to it. I dont want to teach dance classes... but I was thinking that Id like to tell people about the history of dance. The studio offers classes to children... Thats the focus of one of them. Ive practically been raised with Broadway blood. I know it inside and out. I could even tell them about Grandma. She left a footstep in the history of Broadway."
Blaine nodded, "Yes, she did. Your grandma was an impressive woman, Archer. So, that could be a career for you. Im proud of you for coming up with that, lovely. What about you, Hunter?"
Hunter, who had cast his gaze down to the floor, brought it back up to Blaine, "Um... Im not sure yet. All I know is that I want to do something with books. Maybe I could edit them. I dont know." Saying those words to a man with such an imposing work ethic made Hunter feel pathetic, and like his first publication really hadnt counted for much.
As if Blaine had somehow read his mind, he muttered, "Hunter, dont look down on yourself for only having one book under your belt. Thats more than the majority of people have. And youre only eighteen. I have no doubt that youll write more books, and that all of them will sell just as easily as the first." Rubbing Hunters shoulder, Blaine twisted back around to his laptop. After he was settled, Kurt curled back up against his side, too sleepy to put much into the conversation. "But you two can promise me that youre working on establishing your careers?"
Once he received agreements from both of them, Blaine reopened the screen hed been looking at. "Both of you know that I love you very much, and only want the best for you. I knew that you were struggling with getting the boost you needed, so Ive been in contact with the apartment complex that youve been eyeing, Archer. I havent finalized anything yet, but I did pay for a hold on one of the rooms. Its a studio room, but its one of the larger rooms. It was already supplied with furniture, but I spoke to someone and found out what it was missing. I went through this website and ordered what you would need... kitchenware, a few lamps, bedspreads-" As if he had expected Archer to react like a floundering fish to this news, he held up a hand as soon as Archer popped his mouth open. Hunter tightened his grip on Archer, his hand raising to his hair and stroking his matted curls. "If you dont like the items, we can exchange them. But... if youd like to, Ill set up a tour of the apartment next week. If you like it, we can meet with a financial advisor. You two will have to sign a couple of forms, and then the apartment will be yours."
Archer couldnt hold his tongue anymore, "But, Daddy, Hunter and I dont have the money to live on our own yet. Hunters book is still in the process of being published. He only made a few hundred dollars off of getting it to sell to the publisher."
"I know that." Blaine nodded. "Thats why youre not buying the apartment." Archers eyes became huge, while Hunter somehow kept his face emotionless. Inside, he felt exactly how Archer looked. "Honey, its not like Im buying your first house for you. This is an apartment. It wasnt that expensive to buy out. Look at me, baby. You and Hunter are very important to me. I want both of you to be successful. You cant do that if youre clinging to our home. I want you to live on your own, with your husband, like any other married couple has a right to do. And Im not going to take no for an answer. If you dont like this apartment, well look at different ones. This is hard for me to say... but, Archer, I dont want you to live at home anymore. Youre an adult now. Youre married. What you need right now is to have privacy with your husband. You need to have your space to talk about your future. You cant do that if your parents seem to be right behind your back."
Archer slumped his shoulders, "This is so much, though. Youll let me pay you back one day?"
Suddenly, Blaine grinned from ear to ear, "Ill tell you what... when youre thirty years old, you can pay me back for this by giving me a grandchild or two. But no sooner than that. Do we have a deal?" He held out his hand for Archer to shake, but Archer instead threw himself into Blaines arms, making him choke as he nearly fell on top of Kurt. His arms clasped around Archer, who happily burrowed into his chest, his body vibrating as he purred. Blaine smiled affectionately at the top of his sons curly head, "I love you, too, pretty boy." He nudged a kiss into Archers frizzy hair, and then shot a glance back up to Hunter. He didnt offer him the same kindness, "Thirty years old. Get it?"
Later that night, the five people in the house retired to their beds, their stomachs bloated with the dinner that Hunter had fixed for them. Holding his husbands hand, Archer waddled behind Hunter, who shut them into their bedroom and locked the door. He instantly started undressing, and then carefully freed Archer of his clothes. After Archer was left in a pair of underwear, the two of them climbed into bed together, and Archer hooked himself around Hunters warm body, as he did every other night.
A few minutes seemed to pass that the two of them laid there, Hunters hand tracing shapes into Archers back, while Archer clung tightly to Hunters shoulders, his fingers slowly kneading his hard skin. Finally, the two of them spoke to each other before they went to sleep, and it was Hunter who broke the silence this time. "Archer?" Archer felt his body shift around, his muscles stretching as he sat up and supported Archers limp form. "Hey, babe... can you look at me? I want to see your eyes."
Automatically, Archer twitched his eyes up to Hunters face. The top half of his head glowed a whitish color, the glare of the moon washing out his naturally tan skin. Hunters lips wavered uncertainly, "Honey, this wasnt something I wanted to talk about in front of your parents, but when your dad brought up the fact that one day... we could have a couple of children, I knew that it was time for me to talk to you." Hunter pursed his lips as he carefully thought over his next words, and then he cast his eyes back down to Archer. Archer remained silent, unable to believe that it was Hunter who was approaching this conversation. "What do you think about having children, sweetheart?"
Archer had never had to think about this much before, and had never spoken to his parents about what it was like to plan for having children, since neither of them had to worry about choosing between surrogacy or adoption. Hed been an accidental child to both of his parents, who had only intended on watching him for a few years while his biological parents finished up filming a movie in India. Sometime during those years, his parents had formed an unbreakable bond with him, and hadnt been hesitant in officially taking him off of his biological parents hands. Archer lowered his eyes, his eyelashes scraping Hunters pointed nipple as he tucked his head against his husbands chest. "Im not ready." was all he whispered, his words hanging in the air.
Hunter shrugged his shoulders, "And thats fine with me. You can have all the time you need... but... I dont want to wait until were thirty, Archer."
Archer snapped his head up so fast that he nearly gave himself whiplash, "You want children?"
Hunter stared at him, trying to figure out the alarmed expression on his face. "Since I was little... Ive always wanted two boys. Growing up, we were each others best friends. I want two other boys to have what we did. And... I know that Im not going to be the best dad. I didnt have one to show me how. But I remember what Blaine and Kurt taught me. They showed me to be patient... to always care, no matter how small the problem. They made me see what it means to be unconditionally in love. They showed me to always give hugs and kisses, and to laugh as often as I can. They taught me to never fight with my spouse in front of any children we have, but to make up in front of them. It shows them that they should respect one another, even if theyre angry with each other."
Lowering his head into the hollow of Hunters throat, Archer blinked his wet eyes, "I didnt know that you would want to have children with me. Id be so happy if we adopted two boys. That is what you want, isnt it? To adopt?"
Hunter nodded, "Yeah... sure. We can adopt, baby. If we want to have children within the next year or two, though, we might want to start the process now. Its going to take a while to finish the-"
Hunter wasnt able to get the rest of his words out because Archers lips crashed into his. Tears dripped from Archers eyes, splashing Hunters cheeks as their faces rubbed against each others. When they pulled apart, Hunters eyes were also shining. "Babe, do you remember when your dad was trying to make a toast to us at the wedding? But he got choked up and couldnt say it?" Archer nodded, a smile spreading onto his lips when Hunter kissed him again. "Im going to finish it for him. Heres to the start of a marriage thats as close to perfect as a marriage can be. We havent been married for a month, and Im already so happy that other people should be jealous. I have enough to go around."
Archer giggled, "What about names for these children of ours?"
"Well, I dont think we can settle for anything as soon as we start coming up with names. No parent ever does. But... I like Zabe. Its a portion of your grandmas name... Elizabeth." At the look that Archer gave him, Hunter leaned back onto the pillows, his face softening, "Ive been fiddling around with names for a little while. I figured that, as long as you were up for it, wed be having children at some point."
"Zabe..." Archer tried the name out, and instantly a bright smile covered his lips. "I like that name. Its the name of a strong boy... a boy whos very fiery. And what about Elz? Its the first part of my grandmas name. I like Elz."
Hunter returned his smirk, and he kissed Archer once more, before he dragged his lips up to the tip of Archers nose. "Elz. Thats a beautiful name. And both of the names are short, which will be good for our children, since they have so many last names to remember."
Archer laughed so hard that the bed shook, "The poor, little ones." Wiping the tears from his eyes, Archer settled against Hunters body. He went back to kneading Hunters shoulders, "I think youll be a good dad, Hunter."
"Thats right. Ill the fun parent." Archer snickered at that, feeling Hunters hand rubs circles into his bottom. "Youll be a pretty, little parent, Archer. Seeing you carry our children in your arms... and sing them to sleep... and kneel down on the floor to play with them. That would do things to any man... but to me... your husband." Hunter shook his head. "Im glad that I have my vision back. There are some things that I never want to miss. Looking at our childrens faces is one of them."
The smile on Archers face flickered away as his husband brought up all of those years when hed seen the world in a different way. Caressing his angled cheek, Archer lifted his hand to Hunters glasses and pulled them off of his face. He folded them and placed them aside, watching Hunter blink his eyes to adjust them. "Dont worry, my love. Youll know what your children look like. Youll see them grow up. We would never let you go blind again. Even without your glasses, you can see some things."
Dragging the blankets up to their shoulders, Hunter grinned, "We should talk about getting a pet now-"
"No." Archer said firmly, "My pére has two birds that have more of an attitude than he does. They treat me like Im nothing but another hand to fill up their food bowls. I dont want a pet of my own. With my luck, I would get a pet that would like my pére more than it did me."
Hunter scowled, "Baby, Pavarotti and Everett only act like divas because Kurt raised them to be that way. Frankly, I dont want a fat pet that eats too many treats and then tries to fit its pudgy body into a sweater. I meant that I want a rambunctious pet that will run around outside and play fetch. You know, a pet to entertain the kids, when they come of age."
Archer groaned, "If you keep talking, you wont even get a goldfish. Let me sleep, and Ill think about it in the morning." Shutting his eyes, Archer nuzzled into Hunters strong body, trapped between that and a mountain of blankets. Despite their disagreement about getting a pet, Archer knew that their lives were coming together. Thinking of this made him fall asleep with a smile on his lips.
